This one pot chicken and planting pepper soup is one of my favorites. It is mouth-watering,
it is delicious and it's super super easy to make. I'm sure you're going to love this recipe so welcome.
And for this recipe you're going to be needing chicken. I already cut my chicken into similar
sizes. I'm using chicken wings and chicken thigh in this recipe but feel free to use any other
part of chicken that you prefer. Also you'll be needing pepper soup spice. This is my own
homemade pepper soup spice. I have a video about how to make your pepper soup spice and I'll be
linking it at the end of this video. Else you can just buy some from the store. So I started by
putting some chili pepper into my chopper. I added garlic and also a little bit of ginger. You'll find
the full measurement in the description box below. I also added some onion into it and I will just be
blending this nicely. If your blender doesn't, if you don't have a blender like this rather,
you can use the regular blender. I'm using this mini chopper. You can add some water in it to
help it blend nicely but mine can blend without water so this is the result of blending it. You
just want to blend it whether coarsely or smoothly depending on how you like it. So I added my chicken
to the pot. I added salt, my pepper soup spice, seasoning cubes and my pepper blend. So you just
pour this into your chicken then you give this a very good mix. I won't be adding any water at
this time. I'll just mix it properly and then I'll cover it and allow this to cook for about
five minutes and while it's cooking we'll just go ahead now and cut our plantain.
So you just peel your plantain and then you cut it into small sizes, not very big and not very
large. You want to cut it in a size that it will cook at the same pace with your chicken and you
want to cut it, you also want to cut it into a size that it will not break down like it's not just
melt into your chicken and pepper soup stock. So just cut it into a size just like this. Yes it's
perfect. So once you're done cutting it and five minutes should have elapsed by this time you just
pour it into your chicken and then you add water into it. You find out every of the measurements
in the description box below like perfect measurement. So you give this a very good mix
and then you cover this and allow it to cook for about 15 to 20 minutes and then you go ahead to
slice a fenugreek leaf or scent leaf depending on what you know this leaf. This leaf will give
your chicken pepper soup flavor. If you can't find the fresh one you can also use a dry one but
I always find the fresh one because of where I live but if you can't find the fresh one you can
use a dry one or you can also use basil. So I sliced it and then I poured it into my pepper
soup and at this point I've already switched off the heat from the pepper soup because I want the
leaf to stay green. So you can see how fast it is to make your pepper soup like it's really really
easy and it's really flavorful. So I hope you enjoyed this video. Please don't forget to give
this video a thumbs up, share this video with your friends and of course if you don't want plantain in
your pepper soup you can add some yam and if you don't want yam you can always make this pepper
soup without adding anything and you can also enjoy it with some boiled white rice. It is amazing
every time. Thank you so much for coming back to my channel every time. Thanks for your support. I
really appreciate you and I hope to see you in another video. Bye and have a wonderful day.
