Happy October, everyone! I don't know about you, but October is a cozy, academic month for me. I love visiting dimly lit bookshops, spending evenings curled up under fuzzy blankets with a new horror mystery in hand, wandering a pumpkin farm, and spending early evenings in the art studio with the sunset painting the sky behind my windows and fairy lights glowing around the bookshelves. I hope you're feeling the vibe in today's video 😃 To make this episode extra special, I'll be taking you with me on a fantasy book haul to the old church bookshop in Zwolle—one of my favorite places in the world. We'll also visit a local pumpkin patch (because October without a pile of pumpkins is no October at all), and I have a few new art projects for us to work on together in my home studio: painted pumpkins and DIY bookmarks, yes please 😁 I hope you enjoy this little cozy video and that it adds to the magical vibes of the witchiest month 🎃 Sending you my love, Xenia 📚🍁

It's a gentle breeze that carries me through I'd give up the world, the moon, the sky
For you, I'd reach so high Across the ocean, I'd soar with pride
For you, for you, I I'd give up my dreams, my hopes, my view
For you, what more could I ever do? I'd give up the world, the moon, the sky
For you, for you, I In the silence, don't you stir from sleep
Sunlight paints your face in golden sheen The hushed, peaceful scene
In the soft light, troubles fade away We don't need words to say your love
A gentle breeze that carries me through I'd give up the world, the moon, the sky
For you, I'd reach so high Across the ocean, I'd soar with pride
For you, for you, I I'd give up my dreams, my hopes, my view
Just where it was needed Poisoning injustice dead
In the eye of the time, nobody is losing Faces may change, but your face remains the same
Just where it was needed Cleaning the kiss line
Poisoning injustice dead In the eye of the time, nobody is losing
Hello friends! Happy October and thank you so much for joining me on today's video.
As it became a little tradition of ours to have a chat at the end of each video,
I'm here to give you some updates about what I have in plan for this channel for the upcoming
months. I'm coming back to my schedule of sharing videos once in two weeks. Normally,
I try to share more often at the end of summer and at the beginning of autumn because I take
a long break in mid-summer and that allows me to work on a lot of different side projects,
which I can then gradually share with you in September. However, now we are entering very
busy time of the year. I have a lot of different projects planned before Christmas. I know it's a
little bit too early to talk about Christmas when we haven't celebrated Halloween yet,
but that's how artists are. We have to look forward and we have to plan in advance.
And I have to finish a bunch of things pretty much before mid-November because I plan a little
Christmas update and also I want to participate in a Christmas market, which will be taking place
here in my town in mid-December. So a lot of exciting things coming and I will be working on
different hand-painted ornaments and Christmas decorations and designing new postcards. So
I hope you will enjoy it. I haven't planned that many craft projects yet for this time of the year
because I will mainly be focusing on painting. But if you have any ideas about what you want to see
making, creating, trying new materials or covering a particular theme in my videos, please share your
ideas in comments. I'm always very open to the new projects and new mediums and new things to try.
Also I've been working on a few different themes behind the scenes. October is an Inktober month.
For those of you who do not know what Inktober is, it's this big challenge when a lot of artists pick
ink as their main medium and create a lot of different illustrations and drawings with it.
And I'm working on a series of magical cards. I've created two different designs already, which I
haven't shown you yet, but I'm planning to. And I hope that I will be able to finish at least three
more cards. The ideal goal was ten, but I do not think that I can make it work, so five it is. So a
lot of exciting things. I'm gonna be quite busy and a little stressed, but still I'm very much looking
forward to read and I hope that I will enjoy it nonetheless and you will do too. As always, thank
you so much for being here and being such an amazing, kind and loving community. Special
thanks to my little Patreon family. We are still quite small, but I hope we will grow in time.
And I'm wishing you the most wonderful week and sending you my love. Goodbye!
