This is why I dislike my NEW Yamaha R1. Super close call that could have ended with a crash...
Ladies and gentlemen, I have brought you here today to talk about my dream bike and why the freak I hate it.
But first, feast your eyes.
Oh gosh, I just ripped a freaking large burp.
All I'm going to say is I have this on so I can do dumb stuff.
See how it's not Dainese, my old one? Yeah, there's a reason.
You'll see at the end of the video after we get done talking about what we got to talk about.
Have you ever had a dream that you, um...
I have not rode Sky in so freaking long and I'm so excited.
It's actually a benefit, like, if you don't ride your bike for a little bit, like, there's been so much rain and now I'm just like,
I miss you. I want to go and have fun with you.
I love you, Blue, but you're for the track now.
But Sky, let's just go enjoy some time together and just go get some pictures and some content.
Don't even skip ahead. Like, like, there's good content.
Like, I actually do put out, you know, solid stuff that...
Are you guys ready?
I gotta wipe this thing down because she is dirty and she's got a whole bunch of smudges and, and yeah.
I mean, you guys always ask me, like, how do you keep your bikes so clean?
It's because I clean them. Like, it's not really that hard.
It's not, it's not really, like, a crazy...
Ideology? Is that how you say it? Ideology?
But yeah, just, just take care of your stuff, you know what I mean?
Like, if that's your baby girl, take care of her.
You don't treat your mom, like, disgusting, you know what I mean?
You take care of your mom. Like, that's how it's supposed to be.
So, take care of your bike.
I mean, although you did not buy your mom.
So, like, there's a difference there.
Like, this is my hard-earned money.
So, let's get into it.
Ross, Rosso Corsa 2s.
I put these on because these are kind of right in between track and street.
They have a harder center and then the sides are pretty soft.
But as you can see, I've only rode Weiss on the rear and that's as far over as I got.
This is a bigger tire, though. This is a 260.
So, like, I have more of a, it's more balloonish and I have more side to go down on.
Which I do not need for the street.
I should not be down here on the street.
Otherwise, like, I'm full-on street Rossy.
But I plan on not going that low.
That's not okay.
I don't really want to, you know what I mean?
Like, that means I'm just leaning the bike way too much for street.
Track, different story.
Make sure you subscribe and hit that bell notification so you know when I drop.
I drop usually every Wednesday.
No, I am not going to do more videos currently because I do put quality over quantity.
But, like, at the same time, it's like, dude, I would love to give you guys two videos.
But then I don't want to do quantity over quality.
I'd love to, I love art.
So, you guys will find that out if you're new to the channel.
Some of you guys are.
Get ready for the mayhem.
We're going to change the world.
Alright?
Look at this.
No traffic at all.
What up, guys?
I guess that's a perfect intro.
We got clearly a big gap right now.
So, we're, like, slowing it down.
Getting a little hoonin'.
Real quick.
We were just cruising before.
So, I just turned the camera on.
It's still in the damn thing, so.
Covering that rear brake.
Get a little bumper.
I got this heavy backpack on.
And I really don't want to go fast.
It's just so freaky.
It's like 30 pounds.
I have all my camera equipment in it.
And I'm hot.
Really hot.
It's like 90 degrees out.
And I'm in full gear.
Because I'm later.
You'll understand later.
Oh, I had to burp.
Is it recording?
Yeah.
Yeah, that tower just blew out right in front of us.
I'm scared, man.
Dude, I'm like, why am I getting smacked with a bumper?
And then I look in front of me.
I'm like, oh, sh**.
I was looking at you.
Because you're itching your butt.
No, I wasn't.
You were digging in there, dude.
No, I wasn't.
No, you were digging.
Why?
You were digging.
No.
No, bro.
Ever since I put it in this, like, engine braking 3.
The wheelies got super smooth.
Like, basically, the wheels go into, like, I don't know.
Like, it's able to.
It's easier to control.
Because I don't have to chase it so much.
Because it feels lighter.
Weirdest thing ever, right?
You're like a 1000 light now.
But, yeah.
Yeah, it is.
What do you mean?
That's it, dude.
I'm not going to get mad at people.
I'm just going to be like.
Dude, I just.
I just tell them.
I'm like, use your eyes, please.
You were in the turn lane.
Then, no.
Turn signal.
You just come back into my lane.
And then, want to go back into the turning lane.
It's like.
I get it.
You don't know where you're going.
But, like.
Use the turn signal.
Look.
Before you just go.
That's how people die.
Cars, man.
You got to be so defensive nowadays.
But, again.
Today, we're talking about why I hate this bike.
Even though I just said.
What?
That.
That says Trans Am.
That is a Camaro that says Trans Am.
That is.
I'm just going to say it's unique.
Because I've never seen it.
I have.
I forget I have a horn.
You were.
You were in your cheeks.
Like, deep in your cheeks, bro.
No.
I saw the pool, bro.
The camera didn't.
So, ultimately.
It's my word against your word.
But.
You were 100%.
Like.
In them cheeks.
Like.
If this was the cheek, bro.
You were.
You got deep, bro.
You got deep.
I'm pretty much.
Like.
Halfway in between.
Like.
Having energy.
And having a heat stroke.
Yeah.
That's how that's going.
I'm literally full of sweat inside.
A tire blew out.
Right in front of us.
Almost hit it.
On a car, bro.
Probably, like.
25 feet in front of us.
Yeah.
I'm like.
Why am I getting hit with rubber?
I look.
I'm like.
Oh.
Sugar.
And just whip left.
Alright.
The moment is here.
Ladies and gentlemen.
Woo!
It is a freaking hot one today.
It's nice because we've had rain for about the last week.
Oh.
Boy.
That sounded juicy.
It is literally rush hour right now.
There's so many bad drivers out right now.
It's like a peak of bad drivers.
Everyone's exhausted because they just went to the job that they hate all day.
I am like.
Ah!
There's a couple reasons why I actually do hate my dream bike, right?
And most of these are factory things that can be changed.
Holy crap.
That's a long line of traffic, baby.
But you guys gotta understand.
This is semi-serious and semi-not.
Because, again, these things can be changed.
It just requires more money.
Actually, all of it can be changed in retrospect.
It can.
When I got this bike.
I didn't really realize.
I didn't care.
Whoa.
Damn.
This bike came from the factory with a couple things that other manufacturers provide.
And Yamaha did not.
And let's start off with.
Hey, listen.
This is a bad day.
This was a bad day.
It's the brakes.
The braking system is just not there.
I am on a 1000.
Not a 600.
It's an R1.
This bike goes stupid fast really quick.
And you need to slow down extremely fast.
It just does not perform anywhere near where it needs to be from the factory.
From the factory, it's doable.
But it should be well upgraded.
For the price, at least.
I'd expect some type of maybe a Brembo.
Well, come to find out.
One day I ran into somebody with a 2021 ZX-10.
Right?
How's that?
And I looked at his bike.
And he's like, it's pretty much all stock.
I'm looking.
I'm like, uh, you got this Brembo master from the factory?
He's like, yup.
You got the Brembo rotors?
Yup.
And I'm like, whoa.
And it might've been even.
It might've even.
Look at that quick reaction.
I saw it dead stop.
And I was like, turn.
It might've been the, uh, the calipers too, right?
So we're talking calipers, rotors, and a master.
So I'm like, okay, dude, you had to spend way more than my bike.
Turn to find out.
I think it was the exact same price for both bikes.
But they got pretty much the same price.
it was pretty much a loaded braking system, which is insane.
That is completely.
So why do I keep going with my train of thought?
I love this big rear tire.
I literally just caught the bike like a dirt bike.
Oh yes.
The braking system.
It's okay.
I would not take it to the track.
Okay.
Hi.
Okay.
The brakes are good for the street, right?
But I need more.
You know what I mean?
Like I break late.
I break hard.
Now they do come with still pretty lines, which they always have it.
The 600 didn't come with the R6.
So I'm actually a little bit grateful that they did.
That's one thing I don't need to do.
I do need to change my fluid still.
And that's the first thing that I really didn't like about the bike.
And that was literally the first thing I had to order.
So I was like, I need to fix this or I'm going to hurt myself.
And plus I like having good brakes because let's say we're in traffic traffic stops,
right?
I need to be able to go from 42 miles an hour to zero really quick.
I forget what number two is.
We're also looking for a spot to take the cinematic that you already watched.
I'm in the future right now, but I'm also in the past.
Yeah, just put your gas in the straight place.
I love it when you do that.
How is anyone supposed to see that stop sign?
Oh, thank you.
What a nice old lady.
Old man.
That's an older man.
Whoa, look at the thing he takes.
Second thing will be the temperature.
Fans right now.
Let me find it.
Yeah.
You do that.
Really?
Is that one 90?
When I first bought this bike, right?
I was hitting at a hot day.
I was hitting temperatures up to 40.
Now imagine if I never got this tuned cause they never dropped any tunes.
So let's say SoCal and Brent Tuning never released anything.
I'd still be running to 40 to freaking 40 guys.
That is ridiculously hot.
Now maybe I'm just not up to speed with cross plane motors and maybe cross plane motors
can handle that.
But to me, that's just really freaking hot.
Oh, we're turning.
I didn't really have too much notice.
Oh wait, this road looks cool.
I'm kind of with it.
I'm honest.
Listen, I get cracked over good pictures and good scenery and good setting.
Like, oh my gosh.
The sun's in, right?
The mountains in the background.
Now it's just like figuring out how I'm going to do it.
I'll be putting a lot of, I put a lot of passion into everything I do.
Really.
He's going to do it.
There he goes.
Do the full stand up.
Let's go, Nick.
That's what I'm talking about.
Up there looked cool, but that mountain range back there, the mountains look dope.
So if we can get a spot with that, I'd rather do that than the big, it's like a whole bunch
of mountains in the background.
They look far away.
Yeah.
So if I can find something where it's like they're in the background, that'd be awesome.
Not mountain range, but there's mountains over there, like in the background.
It's not rocket science today.
Maybe I'm using the wrong terminology, but I didn't think it was that complicated.
Would you understand if I said mountain range?
Look both ways before you cross the street.
That was an issue.
I was riding my bike and I got the exhaust on.
My exhaust was just overheating.
I got a lot of bright colors out of it, but it also overdid itself and ended up going
past that stage and not burning, but like the titanium kind of went to a more dull color
and I wish I was able to heat it up more vividly without overdoing it.
I don't know if that makes sense, but we're going to try to make it make sense.
So yeah, I got a little bit scared because I felt like I was damaging the actual bike.
Oh boy, I almost broke my windshield.
Ouchie.
Ouch.
Ah, heat.
That is something I hate.
I've turned off slide control.
I left traction control on a little bit.
No, I turned off slide control and I turned off traction control and this thing still
kills me in my wheelies.
It's sometimes really quick like that where the sensors just kind of go off.
I don't know how to fix it.
I really haven't even done research.
I'm not going to lie.
I need to turn off like everything and see if that fixes it, but like I also don't want
to ride the bike like that, but I need to have like a wheelie mode on there.
That, that bothers me because I'm mid wheelie and it just cuts power.
The bike doesn't turn off.
It just kills my power.
Just zero.
And that happens a lot.
Sometimes I cut it out of the wheelie.
Like you guys don't see it in the video.
That's an issue.
That's, that's, that's the fifth issue.
So now I got five.
Awesome.
I wanted five.
I just couldn't come up with five.
Like that.
Oh, that, that rattles my skins.
Boils my biscuits, yo.
Oh, wait, but this is a busy road, isn't it?
There's no way I'm getting a picture in the middle of this.
Is there a way onto this?
Oh, wait, let the brain do its work.
Yeah.
I'm not taking my bike through that small, dirty spot.
Once I tuned the bike, right, I got my bike tuned by SoCal.
Superbikes that teamed up with SLR Tuning.
They ship out the handheld.
You plug it up.
You do the bada bing, bada boom, and boom.
I know the bike does.
Oh, gas.
Okay.
Um, the bike, I've not seen the bike over, I mean, it's at 194 now.
I don't think I've seen it over 208.
So the fans keep it under 208, which is amazing.
Amazing.
I love my bike running cool, healthy.
You keep doing that girl.
Uh, thank you to SoCal again for the tune and everything unlocked and just made the
bike a lot smoother.
Opened up all the freaking power on this thing.
The bike comes really restricted.
It's not really an issue because I understand why manufacturers have to do that.
Yeah.
You know, and then ECU will fix that.
So again, all these problems are fixable except that one that I just talked about, which is
that wheelie one.
So if anybody does know, please let me know.
It's not scary.
It's just like, if you saw my GoPro, my GoPro literally skimmed my thing.
And like, you ever think about, you ever see like a racer, they almost high side, the
bike throws them off, fucks them off.
You can shatter your windshield like that.
So it's not exactly ideal.
And I was comfortable in that standoff.
When I started, I straightened up my legs completely.
So when I straightened up my legs, I'm not exactly ready for this thing to just kill
power and slam down to the ground.
Plus, I don't want to do forklifts.
Oh boss, don't kill us.
Don't kill us.
Thanks Mike.
Whoa.
All right.
We just had a, I just chugged a bang.
So now we're actually alive.
There you go.
Get that standoff going.
Well back to it guys.
Okay.
I'm not, listen, I don't want to come at Yamaha, but like, if you have a job open.
See, I'm not for everybody.
But, you know, as far as the creative aspect, you know, I'm right here.
You don't have to call me now or later.
It's a design.
So from the factory, I love this bike.
Don't get me wrong.
I love this bike.
I will make a video on why I love this bike.
So don't get me wrong.
Like I did not, there's a reason I bought this bike.
I wouldn't buy it if I hated it.
Trust me.
But the issue from the factory is, it's the stock colors.
You know what I mean?
The OEM fair.
This colorway, first and foremost, right, was the blue with a gray, a dull gray.
So I'm like, okay, you know, it's like not Nardo, but it's kind of close to Nardo.
It is what it is.
I mean, it's either that or the black, which the black does look really good.
When I got this bike and it had, right off the bat, I was like, wait a minute.
This is a, kind of a flat, it's flat gray.
So the closer I got to it, the issue with me is, I found out the gray did not have clear coat on top.
It was a flat gray, literally.
Under my under tail, we had the front fender.
And then you, on top of that, you had the stickers on the side and the tank.
Right here, literally right, right here.
That's where, that's where you point.
Not it, boys.
Not it.
I just couldn't get down with it.
At first I thought I could.
I tried to make it work with my neon and I was like, nope, colors are clashing too much.
It's too much for me.
I would love to go with three colorway, but I just was like, you know what?
I'll stick to the roots of two colors, rock out with it.
We replaced the front fender.
We replaced the tail and we took off the stickers.
Now luckily, these were stickers and they were not cleared on top.
So I could remove it.
My last issue, which is still kind of included, but not, the wheels.
Now on these wheels, they come with a, the same kind of gray striped down the side, right?
Now I'm thinking, okay, it's a sticker.
I got to peel it off and I can't get the lip of it.
And I'm like, what's going on?
It's cleared on top.
So that, that sticker is there and I could not get it off.
Maybe I'm wrong.
This is why I missed star.
Under here, let me show you.
So we had stickers here and then here is where the sticker lays underneath.
And that's why I put these in the place that I did is because the stickers underneath,
I couldn't do anything, but pretty much wrap on top of it.
That's kind of an issue because it's like art.
What if I want to get rid of that color altogether?
I can't get rid of these stickers and just have blue rims.
Those stickers are there.
So now I have to either paint powder coat new wheels.
You know what I mean?
That's kind of a small issue.
That's like kind of like a hindrance.
You know what I mean?
Like I just wish they were removable.
I will make a video on why I love this bike and all the pros and pretty much my ownership of everything.
But for now, that's what we're starting this off with.
It's pretty much after like two or three months.
I'll end on that note.
So be back in a second.
I'll see you guys in a different location that I have no clue where it's going to be.
I remember you.
Yes, from way back, bro.
Yeah, like over there, bro.
I remember you.
What's going on?
How you doing?
Thank you.
I remember your face.
That's why.
Huh?
That's my pretty smile.
Yeah, yeah.
It's that.
I'm not knee down yet because I can feel my front being light.
The rear is warm.
Oh, the ground is like not warm at all.
