Hey you guys, welcome or welcome back to my YouTube channel, it's your girl T back again
with another video.
Yeah, Eli's over here.
Y'all, it is right now one o'clock in the afternoon.
We slept kind of late or whatever.
Today is Columbus Day, also known as Indigenous People's Day, I guess, Washington High School
today.
We're going to have a late breakfast, so it's going to be like more like a brunch.
And we're going to, y'all going to cook with us, we're just going to cook some brunch,
we're going to have some eggs, we're going to have some bacon, sausage, and pancakes.
So yeah, we're going to be cooking together.
So without further ado, make sure you like, comment, and subscribe, and turn on that bell
so when we drop new videos, you guys are notified, okay, period.
So we got Eli over here washing the dishes because y'all got to teach him young, y'all
might as well continue to keep doing it yourself.
So we're over here washing dishes, it's not his first rodeo, okay, but you keep just pouring
it up there, wash it, wash it, use the rag and wash it, there you go, yes.
So he's washing the dishes right now, it wasn't really many in there, he washed that, he washed
the pan, that's on the stove right there, and then I'm going to have him wash the little
utensils in there.
There's no knives in there, it's just spoons and stuff, whatever.
And forks.
So, hurry up Eli so we can get this party started.
You have anything to say to them?
Hey, you have anything to say to them?
Go ahead, tell them, what do you want to say?
And make sure to hit that follow button.
Well that's the subscribe button.
That's it?
That's all you had to say?
We're going to do the pancakes first.
I want to do the bacon.
Let me get some water.
Thank you.
Y'all, I don't know what's been going on lately, but our water and our faucet's still been
coming out like brown, you know what that's all about, but we haven't been drinking it
obviously, we keep water on deck.
And I have been having to cook with it too, so.
Okay, ready?
You want to mix the pancakes?
We want it kind of thick a little bit.
Flour.
Is that flour?
I don't believe it's flour, it's pancake mix.
I want to.
You want to pour some water in there?
I want to.
Stop.
Hold it with two hands.
And don't pour a lot.
I'll tell you when to stop.
I didn't even get to pour yet.
Don't pour a lot, just pour slowly.
Tsunami incoming.
Tsunami.
Pour.
That's enough.
I made a whole tsunami.
Mommy, I just made a tsunami.
Let me mix this up.
No, because you're going to make a mess.
And I want to make sure that it gets.
Tsunami incoming.
Mix up a little bit.
It looks good already.
I want it kind of thick.
I'm going to have to put some more.
Why would you want it thick?
Because I don't want them runny.
You don't want it thick?
I don't want it runny.
Oh.
Oh my God, that's so thick.
No, it's not.
It's not thick at all.
You've got to add more.
More and more.
It's almost like a bush fire.
Thank you.
Alright, that should be enough.
Thank you.
Mix incoming tsunami.
Mommy, sort it up like a tsunami.
Yeah, like that.
Yeah, make sure you get around the fire.
Like a tsunami.
Everything.
Like a tsunami was bigger and it was like soaking.
Today I'm going to be cooking.
Breakfast cooking.
My mom's helping me too.
But you've got to listen.
You can't be just doing what you want to do.
Okay.
That's better.
You see that?
See how thicker that is?
Oh my God, that's actually thick.
This is what we want.
That's actually thick.
So that's that.
Hold on, I want to add some vanilla extract in here.
Vanilla extract.
Okay.
That's right here.
Vanilla?
Yep.
Some vanilla.
Vanilla.
Get the butter off the refrigerator, please.
Got it.
Like my pancakes a little on the sweet side.
It's kind of brick.
Can I cut it?
No, I don't need you to cut it.
The butter.
Can I see it now?
Hold on, it's not finished.
I'm going to jump in and see it.
I barely saw it.
You want to see?
It doesn't look like nothing.
It's just a regular.
It's just mixed it in.
You'll be able to taste it though.
All right, that's perfect.
I thought I was going to change the color.
No.
It smells good.
That's because that's the vanilla extract I put in there.
I'm so silly, guys.
Hey, y'all.
So I got y'all all the way up here.
So now you can put the bacon inside the pan.
I'm going to mix the eggs in.
I hope I don't.
Because you're always crying about, oh, the yolk got on my hand.
No, I don't care about it if it gets on my hand.
Hold on, let me fix y'all because y'all can't really see.
I don't care if it gets on me or not.
I'm going to back that up a little bit more.
So it looks better.
All right, I think that's better.
Okay.
Yeah, that's better.
Okay, here.
I'm going to turn this on and get the pancakes done.
Is this thing working?
Yeah, it's good.
Here you go.
It smells good already.
We need another bowl for the eggs.
Pick it up.
I just mopped the floor.
Just put it back up there.
And if you do it over this, you won't be making messes like that.
Gross.
It's okay.
Okay.
Everything is falling all over the place.
Very tricky.
We're going to be eating broken bacon.
Broken bacon is crazy.
We need to put some butter on this.
We need to spread it out.
Yeah.
We're going to be eating broken bacon.
Okay, I'm going to put it on the back.
Oh, I need to get that.
Put it back there.
After you're going to make the sausage.
All right, you ready to see how I do these pancakes?
Yeah.
Y'all ready to see how I do these pancakes?
My mom is an expert at food.
So you're just going to lay it down and then it's going to turn into a form of a pancake.
No, I'm actually going to do it a different way.
Yes.
Because I want them round.
Oh, I got it.
I got it.
I don't have to get hot.
You pour it up in like that.
Oh my God.
Wait, make a smiley face.
A what?
A smiley face.
No, I can't do that right now.
You can't make a pancake with a smiley face.
That's crazy.
Make a smiley face.
Can you at least make the eyes and not the smiley?
Can you?
I can't.
They're just circles.
Yeah, they're going to be nice, perfect circles.
Period.
Pretend the circles are eyes.
So that's how we want them to look.
Let me turn them up just a little bit.
It's almost Halloween.
And I can't wait.
We still got like two weeks to go.
But the bacon is cooking.
You got to get your tongs and stuff because you got to be able to flip the bacon.
You said you was making bacon.
They were supposed to be more circle.
I don't like how they're already coming out.
Can we use this?
It's okay.
They're still going to be perfect pancakes as far as the color.
I don't need nothing to flip the pancakes.
I got what I need.
I'm going to put some eggs.
We can use this to flip the pancakes too.
Elijah, didn't I just say I have something to flip the pancakes?
Yes.
We're going to do some eggs too.
You need to be flipping the bacon.
Yeah.
We're going to do four eggs.
We ate a little bit of Italian food.
Like pizza.
Oh, that's actually so yummy.
Isn't that cool, Mom?
Elijah, flip the bacon.
You do not flip bacon just like I told you last time.
You just turn it over.
I am not good at this.
Stop saying you're not good at this or that.
You learn.
It's a learning process.
Elijah, you do a lot of talking instead of not enough listening.
And then you like to over talk me.
Let me speak and then you can speak.
All you have to do is pick it up and turn it over.
It's not hard.
Stop saying you can't do something and just try.
Here.
Now you can do it.
I got this.
Oh, it's starting to sprinkle.
Elijah, just turn it over.
I didn't say throw it.
I said turn it over.
You pick it up and you turn it over.
That's it.
That thing's boiling hot.
But it ain't going to pop you.
You too afraid.
You're acting like it's going to pop you and it's not.
If you know what you're doing, it won't pop you.
I didn't get popped once yet.
Stop being scary.
When you in the kitchen cooking, you cannot be scary.
Because then a whole bunch of crazy stuff will happen.
That thing almost hit me.
I don't know why I even had this child help me.
He's scared of everything.
I'm scared of everything.
Yeah, you are.
And you learn from your mistakes.
Pumpkin cakes were good.
And you learn from your mistakes.
Grit means never give up.
That was so good.
Here you guys go.
And then I'm just going to do the bacon because he's acting scary.
We're going to turn that down.
It shouldn't be that hot.
It smells good though.
I want to eat it right now.
I don't know if bacon is good or not.
Eliza is a spectator when it comes to me cooking.
All he wants to do is look and eat the food before it gets done.
And you don't want to cook it either.
I get too hungry though.
If you give me all of that and you give me like a billion, I'll eat all of that.
That's not good Eli.
You don't need to eat all of that.
We're going to add some salt in our eggs.
What are you going to call it in here?
It's a shell.
A shell?
What would you call it?
A shell?
Let me see.
Mommy, one pancake looks like a square instead of a circle.
Okay, I got it out.
Mommy, one pancake looks like a square instead of a circle.
So, the bacon is done.
It takes it out so it won't burn.
And put it on a plate.
And then we wait for it to burn.
Not burn.
To make sure it won't be cold.
And then we put it on our plate.
See, he knows how to tell you when it's done and how to eat it and stuff, but he don't want to help you cook it.
So, I don't know how to turn it.
You just flip it over.
Get a fork because you're going to stir it.
Stir, stir, stir.
I'm just going to put a little bit of salt up in here.
I got a clean one.
Oh, that looks good.
And a little bit of pepper.
Pepper, so it can make it a little bit good.
Get the heavy whipping cream out of the fridge.
That's the one in the red.
We're going to put the rest of these sausages up here.
Oh, that's definitely going to hit.
The rest of the sausages.
Mommy, when the food is done, I'm going to put my sausage on my bacon.
So, watch until the end, y'all.
I'm just going to try it, please.
Here, this too.
Don't stop.
We're going to get more.
Okay, we got some heavy whipping cream right here for our eggs.
I'm going to stir it.
Oh, my God.
That was so cool.
Go ahead.
You have to hold the bowl with your other hand.
That's how you do it.
And don't do it super crazy.
You got to mix it.
You have to mix it.
Look.
Pay attention to my hand movement.
Look how I'm holding this.
See my thumb is on the top.
My fingers are under the bottom.
Let me show you.
And you mix with your wrist.
Now, you try.
We're done with this, so I'm going to go ahead and turn that off.
Move this out of the way.
It's not poppy, but it didn't hurt me.
Mommy, I just saw a pop like that, but it didn't even hurt me.
Am I the luckiest kid?
That didn't even hurt me.
Oh, I did it.
I did good with it.
I'm going to keep mixing until there's no ice.
The pancakes look so good.
Cool.
All right.
Good job.
You did an awesome job with the eggs.
Now, you need a pan, so you'd be able to cook these.
I know where pans are.
All right.
Pan.
I can get a pan.
I got it.
You need this pan?
That's fine.
All right, I need you to do me a favor.
I don't know.
Who said that?
Take all those shells out of there and put them in the garbage can.
This one looks like it's going to be that big.
Ew.
He just loves snacks.
This is what happens when you cook with children.
My son is very talkative, if you guys can't tell.
That's why sometimes if you guys notice in my videos or if you guys are watching me live,
I sometimes don't answer Elijah because I start to tune him out.
Because he will ask me a billion and one questions all day long.
He'll either ask me a bunch of questions or he'll just talk my ear off.
And sometimes I have to tune him out because it just be too much.
Sometimes I be wanting to listen to my own thoughts sometimes.
So that's what happens when you have an only child
and they don't have no siblings or friends and stuff.
They want to talk you to death.
And they have to respond to everything that you say.
It don't matter if you're talking to them, whether you're talking to you guys,
anybody else, they always have to respond.
He just don't know when to stop.
You need to show.
It's hot in here and I just told you to stop with all the extra movements and stuff.
Stop jumping and hopping around.
Get hurt in here.
So it's not to be like, oh, I'm ignoring my child or anything like that.
Sometimes it can be a little bit overwhelming for a child to constantly keep talking,
keep talking, keep asking questions.
It's like, dang, when are you going to stop?
When are you going to let me be with myself and my own thoughts, you know?
Elijah don't stop when it comes to me.
He thinks I'm supposed to know every answer to every question that he asks too.
So if y'all can relate to any of that, y'all let me know down in the comments
if y'all got kids that are very intuitive and just talk nonstop.
Okay, you ready?
I'm going to turn this front one on and you're going to dump the eggs in here in a second.
Oh, it's melting.
It will start soon.
Soon is long.
Oh, I want our, I want our sausages to brown.
Thirteen out of ten, thirteen out of ten, thirteen out of ten, thirteen out of ten.
I love my son, I really, really do.
But oh my God, it's trying to be a handful at times.
Thirteen zero.
Pick that cup up under here, please.
And y'all let us know if y'all want to see more like stuff like this.
Like more cooking.
Can you not be louder than me?
I told you that earlier when I was on the phone with your grandmother.
You don't have to be always seen and heard.
I like this.
Sorry, I need you to come over here and put the eggs on.
What are you doing?
I'm putting the butter on the pan so the eggs don't stick to the pan.
Alright, go ahead and put them in there.
And don't pour them fast.
Pour them slow.
Take the fork out.
What am I putting in?
Where's the fork supposed to go?
We're not using it anymore.
We're not using the fork anymore, where does it go?
In there?
Or?
Move it over on top.
You're going to end up making a mess.
Bring it over on top of the pot.
Don't rest it up there because you're going to burn the thing.
Hold it and just pour it in.
Oh, that one's good.
Pour it all in, Eli.
Put it in the sink.
The meat is down here.
Oh, it's boiling.
I need a bagel.
Here.
I'm just going to mix it around and don't do it super fast because you're going to make a mess.
So move it around.
Hold the handle because you cannot cook with one hand.
You need to learn how to cook with two.
And move it around.
Faster than that before it burns.
Alright, y'all.
So the food is just basically done.
I'm going to heat these up in the microwave on like 30 seconds.
You said don't do it fast.
Don't do it fast, but do it faster than that.
That's super slow.
You're moving in slow motion.
Oh, it's burning.
You can't be scared.
You got to move it around.
Like that.
Oh, my God.
That is so yellow.
Mommy, that thing is so bright.
Now you try because you got to learn.
I'm going to cut that off, but keep moving it around.
And don't make a mess.
Alright, it's done.
Grab some plates.
I did.
Grab some plates.
We only need a half, too.
You did a good job.
This one is mine.
This one is yours.
Alright, come over here.
You can make your own plate.
Hold on.
Let me grab the...
Pancakes.
So, you guys can see the food, right?
So we got our eggs here.
We got our bacon and sausage here.
And our pancakes.
So I'm going to let you guys make your own plate.
So you can use this to grab your eggs if it's easier.
This one is yours.
Go ahead.
Make your plate.
Be careful.
Put your plate down.
Take what you're going to eat.
Don't take more than what you're going to eat.
Okay?
We don't want to waste food because...
We can't reach.
We...
Money don't grow on trees, okay?
Try again.
Grab it.
Holy...
Oh, come on.
Grab with your finger if you need to.
I want one more.
I'm going to get some bacon.
Don't try to take all the bacon.
Save some bacon for me, too.
I'm just going to get one more.
And then I'm going to put away the rest.
That's it.
Show them your food.
Show them.
Grab a little closer.
Hold it up this way.
Here you go.
You want some syrup?
Yep.
Put some syrup on it.
And then grab your fork.
Make sure you move the syrup around.
Not just in one place.
Now...
Okay, if you want it on your sausage, that's fine.
But...
Here.
Is that enough?
Yeah, that was enough.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
Why are you saying thank you when I just baked it?
Thank you.
You're welcome.
Two pancakes.
And some eggs.
And this is my plate.
Two pancakes.
Some sausage and bacon.
And some eggs.
I think I'm going to put some butter on my pancakes, though.
A little sweet and savory.
You know what I'm saying?
Let's take a bite.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, bless this food that we're about to receive.
Let it be a nourishment to our bodies.
In Jesus' name we pray.
Amen.
Let's take a bitey bite.
Let's see how we did.
Mommy.
Try the sausage with the bacon.
It tastes good.
Got some eggs here.
Mommy.
Dang, I'm trying to get it.
Try the sausage and the bacon.
It tastes good.
A little bacon action.
And some sausage.
Mm-hmm.
That's good.
So I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
Make sure you give it a big fat thumbs up.
And we'll see you guys on the next video.
Don't forget to stay safe.
Stay blessed.
Bye.
