Hi Draw-So-Cute, it's Winnie here.
Today we're going to draw a baby cheetah.
So let's get started.
To draw this cute cheetah,
let's first start by drawing its eyes.
So I'm going to come right here and draw a circle.
And I'll come right across right here
and draw another circle.
There. So let's come back in here
and we're making Draw-So-Cute eyes.
So come in here with two small circles for highlights
and a curved line at the bottom.
And shade in the top.
And lines at the bottom.
And same thing over here.
There. Now that we have the eyes in,
let's come and draw the nose.
So right in between the eyes,
I'm going to come about right here
and just draw a soft curve right in the center.
Then from there, I'm going to round off the corners
and then bring it in and connect in the center.
And I'll just color this in
so you can see a little bit better.
So I'll just do a little highlight right here
and shade it all in.
There.
So this nose in, then let's come right in the center
and we're going to draw a straight line down.
So about that much.
From there, we're going to draw this curve
that curves around towards the eye.
So right here, we're going to come down
and imagine this curve.
It's going to connect to the eye.
So just, this curve is coming out
and we're just going to continue
and connect nice and round
back to the mouth.
So that's the goal.
So same thing here.
Just imagine this circle is coming around,
coming through,
nice and round.
And we're going to connect back right there.
Done.
Okay.
So then we're going to continue this curve.
Imagine it coming through the eye
and then about right here,
I'm just going to extend this curve downwards
right here on both eyes.
There.
More cheetah-like now, right?
With that extension.
And then I'm going to come in here
and just thicken this part up a little bit.
So this is a very prominent feature
in the cheetah right here.
There.
Okay.
So now we finally have that done
right underneath the mouth right here.
I'm just going to very lightly just draw a soft curve
and then we can start to draw the face.
So let's come back.
Let's say the center of our eye.
So in the middle, come out about right here.
And same thing on both sides,
so about right here.
From there, I'm going to just zigzag a little bit,
curve out just to make it look a little bit furry.
Maybe like two of them.
And then same thing here.
Just zigzag two.
And then we're going to bring down
and connect it with a curve.
So our curve is going to be very close to the mouth.
Let's bring this down.
About right here, I'll stop.
Right underneath the eye.
So same thing here.
Right underneath the eye.
Okay.
So then now let's draw the top.
So we're going to pop out these really big ears.
Now that we have this in,
we're going to come up nice and round.
Cheetah ears.
And I'm going to imagine this going up as a curve,
so as a slant.
So I'm going to stop my curve about right here.
So like I said, I'm just imagining this coming up.
And then from there, I'm going to go up,
continue this curve.
And at the top as well,
I'm just going to add some soft zigzags as well.
And I'll bring this across.
So I kind of know where I'm going.
Right in the center.
And down.
Then from there, I'm going to do the same thing.
Draw the same thing like the other side.
Nice big curve for the ears.
There.
Okay.
So then now for the ears,
let's come about right here.
Curve and draw some zigzags.
Just to make it look extra flurry.
So same thing here.
And now we have our cheetah in, right?
And then let's come above each eye.
Almost forgot.
I'm going to draw a soft curve above each eye.
Then from there, let's work on the body.
So right underneath the eye,
say about right here,
I'm going to draw a curve.
So same thing here.
Nice and centered.
And let's bring this down.
So there's that curve.
Very strong front legs, right?
So then before I finish the legs,
let's come back up here.
And once again, I'm just going to zigzag a little bit,
just for some indication of fur.
And we'll stop there.
And then let's come to the center.
So right underneath this nose,
so say about here and here,
I'm going to draw these long cheetah legs.
So right in the center.
Let's bring them down.
And I'll work on this side first.
So I just don't make sure I don't pass the center.
And I'm going to curve it out about right there.
About long enough, right?
This is a baby.
Okay, so let's bring this down.
A little bit thinner as we come down.
And about right there.
I'm going to curve.
Out and connect for our front paw.
Then we come in here with two curves.
So same thing on the other side.
There.
Okay, so now we have that.
And let's, in between,
whatever space you have left,
let's draw a soft curve.
And for the back legs,
let's come pretty high up
since they too have really long legs, right?
So let's say about right here.
I'm going to pop out a curve
and come down.
And then in this area,
I'll just draw this kind of like an oval shape
and then bring it in.
And then once again, two curves.
So same thing on the other side.
I'm just going to drag a point across right there.
Bring it down.
Just like the other side,
about right there.
And connect.
And now that we have that done,
let's finally draw the tail.
So pop the tail about right here.
Curve it up.
Round off the tip.
And bring it right back,
right in there.
And of course, we have to add a heart, right?
Spin this thing a little bit.
I almost forgot.
So I'll add a heart right here as one of my spots.
So as for the spots,
I'm not going to use a Sharpie because it's too dark.
I wanted them kind of like a brownish color.
So I'll do that when I'm coloring,
but it's all in these areas around here.
Just a little indication of it
so we know for sure that it's a cheetah.
So there.
I really hope I made this fun and easy
for you to follow along with me
