Acupuncture Works for Dizziness/Vertigo
A case close to my heart. Helping a patient who had acute, unexplained sickness that her medical doctors could not diagnose or treat her for. Symptoms included nausea, dizziness and loss of balance. Quick treatment led to quick and full recovery with Balance Method acupuncture.
Hi everyone.
I want to share with you a case study I had recently.
Actually not in the office, but while I was on vacation.
You see, I have a family reunion we do every two years.
Part of my family meet up.
We were in a house for a week
and we just spend time together.
But on the way there, my grandmother was sick on the plane
and they had to stop the plane, take her to the hospital
and they couldn't find anything wrong with her.
They were worried maybe she was having a stroke
or they wanted to rule out flu.
We thought maybe she'd had a bad episode of vertigo,
but they did not seem to think that was conclusive.
Anyway, after a few days, they released her
and she was able to continue the journey to us.
So luckily I brought my needles
and I said, grandma, I will fix you.
And when she got to the house, she was very dizzy.
She almost fell getting into the car from the airport.
When she got to us, they had given her a cane
to help her keep her balance.
She could not turn without losing her balance.
She could barely walk.
She was very fatigued from the two days in the hospital
and her sciatica was acting up.
So I said, I got you, I can do this.
So I said, I'm gonna treat you every day
and I'm gonna try to treat you even twice a day
if we can do that with our vacation plans.
Within two treatments, she was no longer dizzy.
Within three treatments, she had lost the cane.
She did not need it anymore.
And within four treatments, she was walking normally.
She had her energy back.
She felt really good.
By the end of the trip, she was able to fly back home.
She had no problems on the plane
and she still feels good to this day.
So I just wanna share with you that
when sometimes you feel like
they can't find anything wrong with you
or you don't have a diagnosis,
that doesn't mean acupuncture can't help you.
I see this all the time.
I get a lot of patients who come in,
they may or may not have a diagnosis,
but they feel that they cannot be helped in any way
and I don't need a diagnosis.
I use Chinese medicine to diagnose
and I can help a lot of people.
And I'm just really happy that my grandma trusted me.
She is not from a generation that thinks acupuncture is,
you know, mainstream medicine,
but she loves me and she trusted me
and she's doing really well and I'm really happy.
So I just wanted to share that with you.
Thank you.
