Hey guys, so today's video is a tutorial on the look that I'm wearing right now.
I got inspired by the upcoming Valentine's Day and I really wanted to do something pink
and girly and I came up with this really fun and glittery look.
Most of the pearls that I used to create this look are really affordable and from the drugstore
and you're going to be surprised how easy it is to achieve.
I'm absolutely obsessed with the end result and I really hope you guys like it too.
Please don't forget to give this video a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel if you haven't already.
Thank you guys so much for watching and let's go getting started.
Alrighty guys, so first I'll start off with the eye makeup.
I'm going to be using glitter and I can predict that there is going to be a pretty nice amount of fallout.
So let's just avoid the mess.
So I'll start off with the eyebrows.
I'll use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Deep Brow Pomade in Medium Brown.
And the brush I'm using is again by Anastasia Beverly Hills.
It's the number 12.
And I'll use some concealer to clean up the edges.
The brush I'm using is by Makeup Forever.
It's the 230.
And I'll use the same concealer to prime my eyelids.
This is the Maybelline Fit Me by the way.
The shade is number 15.
So I'm just applying a little bit all over my eyelids.
And I'll blend it out from the lash line all the way up to the brow bone.
And then if you're using concealer as a primer,
you always want to go ahead and set it with some face powder
or a nude eyeshadow just to prevent it from creasing.
I'm taking this foiled eyeshadow by Makeup Geek.
It's called Nostalgic.
And I will apply it with my fingers all over my eyelids.
I feel like when I'm using my fingers to apply shimmery or metallic shadows,
they're coming out a lot more intense and vibrant.
So as I said, I'm applying it all over my eyelid.
And this is going to be a really nice base for the glitter that I will apply in a while.
Next, I'm taking this eyeshadow again by Makeup Geek.
It's called Cupcake.
I love this eyeshadow.
I will hit pan on it very soon.
This is a really nice...
I forgot the word.
It's a really gorgeous dusty rose color.
I'll use the Suiva 231 to apply it in my crease.
And this is going to be my transition color.
And I'll switch to a bigger, clean blending brush.
This is the Duo Fiber Blender by Makeup Addiction.
And I'll make sure that that dusty rose color is really nice blended into the crease.
And with the blending, you may lose some of the intensity of that shade.
So go ahead, apply one more layer of it,
and blend it out again.
Next, it's time for my favorite part.
The glitter.
I'll use this loose glitter here by NYX.
And I believe that the shade is 02.
But before that, I'll use some glitter glue.
This one is again by NYX and it's actually really good.
I'll just use my fingers to apply it all over my eyelid.
You want to press it.
You don't want to swipe.
And then I'm taking the glitter with my finger,
and I'll just press it on top of that glue.
Look at how pretty this looks, you guys.
And I told you that the fallout would be pretty intense.
Imagine having your foundation under that.
Disaster.
I won't remove it yet,
because I want to do some winged eyeliner.
And while I'm doing my eyeliner,
I can get some more glitter falling down.
And I would suggest you to use liquid eyeliner,
because if you use, let's say, gel,
it would be a lot harder to slide it on top of that glitter
that you already have on your eyelids.
So use liquid instead.
I'll go with this Essence Deep Eyeliner.
This has been my favorite lately.
I've been really, really loving this thing.
I'll use the Sigma E06 to apply it.
And if you see that there is glitter shining through,
go ahead and apply one more layer of it.
And now, with a makeup wipe,
I'll just remove that fallout.
I'm taking the Professional Primer by Benefit,
and I'll press it here on my cheeks
just to smooth out any pores.
For foundation, I'll use the Rimmel Match Perfection,
and I'm in the shade Ivory.
For concealer, I'll use the same one
that I used to prime my eyelids.
This is the Maybelline Fit Me in the shade 15.
The sponge I'm using is that Sigma 3D HD Blender.
It's launching, I think, the end of this month.
I think that is great, by the way.
To set that concealer in place,
I'll use the Rimmel Match Perfection loose powder.
I have it in O1, transparent.
I'll just take some of it on a brush.
I'm going to set that concealer in place.
And again, I'm going to take a very small amount of it,
and I'll set the foundation on my nose,
a little bit here on my forehead,
and my chin,
and also a little bit here where I'm going to apply
the bronzer and the blush,
you know, all that, so that they will apply much smoother.
And the brush I use is the Morphe M500.
Alright, now, let's go ahead and finish up the eye makeup.
I'm taking again that eye shadow called
Cupcake by Makeup Geek,
and I will apply it under my lower lash line.
And I'll keep it here, just in the outer corner.
I won't bring it all the way to the tear duct area.
The brush I'm using is the Sigma E20.
With this white matte eye shadow by Makeup Geek
called White Lies,
I will highlight the inner corners of my eyes
and the brow bone.
For false lashes, I'll use my favorite
pair by House of Lashes.
It's called Spellbound. It's this one right here.
So I'm just going to curl my lashes,
coat them with mascara, and after that,
I'll go on to false lashes.
And you can also apply something in your waterline,
like black pencil, white,
whatever you like.
But my waterline is already pink
by itself, and I really like that
because, you know, the whole pink,
the whole look is pink.
And I'm going to keep it like that,
because I like it.
By coincidence, most of the products that I'm using
by now are from the drugstore,
or they're kind of affordable, you know.
So I'll try to keep it this way
till the end of the video.
I'm really happy when I find something really,
really affordable that does a good job.
And I like sharing it with you.
So, by the way, I'm trying to open
this Master Sculpt
thing by Maybelline.
Obviously, this is going to be my first time
using it.
So, let's see.
Oh, this is really fancy.
Look at that. You have the products here,
then you open it, you have a
mirror, and you
have this brush that
you can't really
use for anything, but...
So I'll use the contouring
shade, and I will apply it with the
Sigma F05.
Wait, that doesn't look that bad.
Now, let's go ahead and try out the
highlighter. I'll add
a little bit on my nose as well.
The highlighter is
okay. I mean, you really have
to layer it to get this amount of
glow. It's also kind of glittery.
Like, you can see the small glitters
sitting on the top of the skin.
But, I mean, I wasn't even expecting it
to be visible at all. I had really low
expectations for it, to be honest.
I'll add just a little bit from the Makeup Geek Midnight Sun
just to make it a little bit more intense.
For blush, I'll
go with this one here by Too Faced.
It's from their Sweet Peach collection.
It's called Papadum Peach.
So I'll just add it on my
cheeks right here.
Lastly, I'll line
my lips
with this lip pencil
by Essence. It's called
Wish Me A Rose.
And then, on top of it, I'm going with this lipstick
by Bourjois. It's in the shade
02. And this is
the finished look, guys. I really hope you enjoyed
watching this video. I had so much fun creating
this look. I always love playing with glitter
and I think that you can never go wrong with it.
Like, glitter is always a good idea.
I hope you guys like the look, too.
