🔰Town Hall ERUPTS As Trump Supporter DESTROYS AOC In Public — Crowd BURSTS Into Laughter!
Violence against people. I don't think that the president should have tweeted that video
that he tweeted. Do I think he should have gone to jail for it? Absolutely not.
But I don't think he should have done that. I think that by endangering Congresswoman Omar,
he was playing with this line and- Well, I disagree. She endangered herself, okay?
That's not endangerment by showing the truth. So showing the truth is endangerment,
is inciting violence to show the truth. That is fascism.
Well, sir, I don't think anyone's trying to ban that speech.
His right to show the truth of what happened is just as valid as her right to say whatever she
wants to say. You've got to see this. AOC just got absolutely owned by a Trump supporter who
schooled her on the First Amendment. When they tried to shut him down, the whole crowd burst
out laughing. But the best part? Stick around till the end, because AOC tries to add nuance
and ends up digging herself an even deeper hole. Before we get into it,
make sure to hit that like button, subscribe, and turn on notifications so you don't miss
any more moments where everyday Americans push back against the radical left.
AOC was hosting one of her tightly managed town halls. You know, the kind where every
question is screened, the microphones are carefully controlled, and the audience is
expected to clap on cue. But this time, things didn't go according to plan. A calm,
well-informed Trump supporter stood up and asked a straightforward question about free speech.
What happened next? AOC and her team completely unraveled.
You know, I think, I just want to, I just want to introduce some nuance to the conversation.
I just want to, that's okay. So, so I just want to throw some nuance into the conversation,
and I'm not trying to have a, I'm not trying to have a, an argument here. I want to have a
discussion. Well, that's no, that's fine, sir. I am absolutely certain. You know, I, I'm absolutely
open to, to being proven wrong on many issues. So when it comes, I'll just let you know my
perspective. You know, we can disagree at the end of it, but I want to at least let you know
my perspective. My perspective is that we absolutely have a protected freedom of speech.
Someone can say, I hate so-and-so, and that is protected speech.
Now pay close attention to what this man says, because he delivers one of the most powerful
lessons on the constitution you'll ever hear at a town hall. He stands up and says,
the greatest freedom is allowing anyone who wants to hate, to hate, as long as there's no violence,
no threats, no incitement. Boom, that's America right there. You can actually feel the room shift,
half the audience looks stunned, like they're hearing pure logic for the first time.
When we think about one of the landmark freedom of speech cases brought down by the Supreme Court,
one of those, one of those cases, and one of the verdicts said, another form of,
of speech that is not protected is yelling fire in a crowded movie theater,
because that will force people to trample one another. And so that's not protected speech. So
and that's when it happens, the moment AOC realizes she's completely outmatched.
Cue the classic AOC move, the word salad. She starts rambling about nuance and complexity,
which basically means she has no real answer. Then she pulls out the most tired, debunked line
in the entire debate playbook, you can't yell fire in a crowded theater. You can practically
hear the audience groan. That argument was dismantled decades ago. The man even fires
back perfectly, you can yell fire if there's actually a fire. But of course, facts don't
matter here. The goal was never to debate, just to shut. There's a fire. Right. Right, sir. But
he's saying, you know, in the landmark speech. No, sir, it's fine. Oh, sir. No, no. Now watch
this part closely. It's unbelievable. The moment AOC realizes she can't win the argument. They
literally cut his microphone, the man's calm, respectful, and quoting the Constitution,
and they still silence him. Then, to make it worse, a staffer actually tries to snatch the
mic out of his hand. This moment perfectly sums up what's wrong with the modern left.
They shout about democracy and tolerance, but the second someone disagrees,
they turn into authoritarians with headsets. The crowd's reaction says it all, laughter,
gasps, and even a few people clapping for the guy who dared to speak.
No, it's totally fine. For me, I think, and so I think for me, sir, it's my concern is we have
freedom to say, I hate this, I hate that. Where I do get concerned is where that line is played
with so that we have plausible deniability to incite violence against people. I don't think
that the president should have tweeted that video that he tweeted. Do I think he should have gone to
jail for it? Absolutely not. But I don't think he should have done that. I think that by endangering
Congresswoman Omar, he was playing with this line. Well, I disagree. She endangered herself,
okay? That's not endangering. So showing the truth is endangerment,
is inciting violence to show the truth. That is fascism.
Saucy tries to recover by shifting gears,
claiming that Trump endangered Ilhan Omar just by sharing a video of her own words,
but the man fires back perfectly, showing the truth isn't violence, silencing people for it is.
That's fascism. Boom. You can actually hear the crowd start to murmur as it sinks in,
people realizing he's right. He's exposing the hypocrisy right there, in real time,
for everyone to see. And AOC? She's left standing there with that awkward smile,
pretending to listen while clearly wishing the most.
Well, sir, I don't think anyone's trying to ban that speech.
His right to show the truth of what happened is just as valid as her right-
It is.
To say whatever she wants to say.
And sir, that's why he's not being, that's why there's no charges being brought up against him.
He's being criticized by you as though there should be charges.
No, no, I don't think, I don't think there should be charges. I don't want to make sure-
Because you say he's inciting violence against her.
I think he is.
That's absurd. You cannot incite violence.
Yeah, well, I think he is.
Inciting violence is illegal.
Right. And so-
Inciting violence is illegal.
So, okay. And, and sir, I think one of the larger, and sir, I think one of the larger
questions that we have here is that if we're explicitly talking about, do we have the right
to say, I hate so-and-so, I hate this, I hate-
Then comes AOC's last move, the emotional pivot. She leans in and says,
why would you want to be bigoted in America? And the audience instantly knows what's happening.
That's not an argument, it's a trap. When she can't debate facts, she goes after motives.
But this man doesn't take the bait. He stays calm and reminds her,
and everyone watching, that the asterisk First Amendment protects the speech you hate,
not the speech you like, asterisk it's a masterclass in composure and constitutional clarity.
You even have the right, yes, to be bigoted in America. Absolutely.
You absolutely have the right to be bigoted in America.
My question is, why do you want to, not you, but why would one want to be bigoted in America?
It doesn't matter. I don't want to be bigoted.
I grew up as a conservative Christian, but I'm telling you that the greatest freedom
is for us to allow anyone who wants to hate, to hate without violence, without threats,
without incitement, and that is true. That is true.
You're bringing incitement and hate speech together, which is totally absurd and fascist.
Well, thank you, sir.
Then comes the punchline, and it's pure constitutional gold. He closes by repeating,
The greatest freedom is to allow anyone who wants to hate, to hate without violence,
without threats, without incitement. The crowd reacts instantly, laughter,
cheers, and even a few of AOC's own supporters can't help but nod along.
In that moment, he doesn't just win the exchange, he schools her with calm,
unshakable logic while she's left fumbling through buzzwords and empty
Comment like that is fine and it's acceptable because I do think that if we don't let it out,
then it gets worse. So I think it's fine to air out disagreements and to have these conversations,
even if it hurts our feelings.
This moment wasn't just about a single exchange, it was a snapshot of the bigger battle playing
out in America right now. Free speech isn't being threatened by those who hate this country,
but by those who claim to love it while working to silence anyone who disagrees.
AOC's reaction was the perfect example of what happens when reality collides with ideology.
That Trump supporter didn't show up to start a fight, he showed up to remind her of the
constitution she swore to uphold, and when she couldn't handle the truth,
she ended up proving his point better than
Gentleman yields. Chair now recognizes Ms. Ocasio-Cortez from New York.
Thank you, Mr. Chair. Just to address briefly,
quickly, that moment about privilege and all of this that we're seeing here.
It was a very beautiful speech by the gentlelady who, as she mentioned, helped lead on the now
majority side of the Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Subcommittee, but I think it's so
exemplary of the point that she also oversaw the elimination of the Civil Rights Subcommittee on
this committee, which really kind of gives the whole game away. We show up, we give speeches,
we give flowery words, but at the end of the day, participate in the structural erosion
of the rights and representation of people that are marginalized, women, people of color,
people that just need to see their due process and civil liberties protected in this country.
But I will move on. As also the Republican side had mentioned in their many raisings of the January
6th committee, that it's not just Hunter Biden, you, me, any individual subject to equal treatment
under the law, to be held up to accountability under the law, but it is also these committees
and this committee that is subject to oversight and law. We must comply with the law here as well.
Now, I may be one of the very few people that actually believes in Congress, you know, in this
country, but I do, and many of us do here, and we have an obligation to engage in good faith
participation to execute and comply with the subpoena. The chairman said in front of the
country several times to Hunter Biden, you can show up here in front of the world, in front of
the public. Hunter Biden took him up on that offer. He said, I will show up in public. I will
show up in public. He showed up here today. He showed up here in the past. And Mr. Chairman,
I know you do your best with what you've got, but you've got members here that have submitted
falsified evidence to the record. You have members here that have submitted and mischaracterized
closed-door hearings. And people want to say back and forth at the end of the day.
It doesn't matter what party it's happened from. You've got members who've engaged in revenge porn
in this committee. So it is understandable why Hunter Biden would want to testify in front of
the public for the American people to be able to witness that testimony for themselves. You've got
members who've defied subpoenas. You've got members who we are one year into the term asking
what the rules are at the beginning of the committee. The book was given to us on day one.
And so what we should do is allow the man to testify. I believe in the power of the
oversight committee. Frankly, I believe in it regardless of whether Republicans or Democrats
have the chair, because I believe that this committee should have the power of oversight.
And we cannot do that on a partisan basis. And so for that, I implore this committee to allow
Hunter Biden to testify publicly. I implore and I ask for that to happen. And we cannot do that
by getting engaged in this back and forth on a defiance of a subpoena.
Let him comply. Let him do it today. Let him do it tomorrow. But let the man do it.
And with that, I yield back to the ranking.
That's what real courage looks like, standing up, speaking the truth,
and refusing to bow to political pressure. If you're proud of what this man did,
make sure to hit that like button and share this video so more people can see what really
happens when you challenge the left's narrative head on. And don't forget to subscribe and
asterisk turn on notifications, because next, we're breaking down another jaw-dropping moment
where a member of Congress gets absolutely roasted by a voter.
