2024 Land Cruiser 250 | 35" Tires, Roof-Rack, Ladder, and Lift
All right, welcome back guys. Today we have a brand new Toyota Land Cruiser in the shop.
It's one of the first ones that we've had the ability to have her put her hands on and put
our spin on it. On this particular vehicle we're going to be installing a Westcott
rack system on the top of the vehicle along with a Westcott rear ladder so that you can gain access
to the top of the vehicle a little bit easier and then we're going to finish it off with a
Westcott preload collar kit to lift the front of the vehicle a little bit give a little bit
more room for the 35s we're going to be putting on underneath of the arches.
Let's see how it turns out.
Pretty straightforward installation. The ladder was not necessarily complicated but it was
definitely something that you really need to take your time with make sure that you get all the
holes drilled into correct places. Now that we're all set with this we're going to send it over to
Ryan to put on the Westcott lift and we'll entire team will start probably start working on the
wheels pretty soon here. Almost done. What's up guys and girls Ryan here I got the 25 Land Cruiser
I've already knocked out the install process on this Westcott lift so let's go over a couple
little details about the lift kit and the vehicle in general. So to compare it a little bit to the
previous 200 series and really what it's closer to is the fifth gen 4Runner. This lift only comes
with a lower preload collar. Now this is going to give you two and a half inches of lift. There is
no top load spacer so you are maintaining that that factory length of your shock you're not
pushing it down at all so your geometry is staying as close to stock as possible. You are going to
lose a little bit of down travel with the preload spring but it's as close to OEM that you can fit
35s as possible. Now compared to the fifth gen 4Runner kit there is no bump stop spacer and like
I said no top spring spacer. So let's move on to the rear. So moving on to the rear here very
very similar to the the Tacoma Tundra all those they're kind of like a universal body frame all
that the control arms are the same sway bar track bar it's all pretty much the same. So the install
went very easy. It's a three-fourths of an inch lift in the back here just to make sure you're
not sagging in the back with that additional front lift. Difference to the fifth gen 4Runner is
the spring spacer up here does not bolt in anymore just kind of sandwiches in there. It's kind of
hard to see but we're going to show you real quick and get the wheels tires on here get this
in a line it's Friday let's get this thing out of here.
