To draw Hello Kitty dressed up as a unicorn, let's first start by drawing her eyes.
So I'm going to come right here and draw a big oval.
And I'll come right next to it, well a little bit further apart, say about right here.
And I'll draw another oval.
Not right next to it.
They are kind of wide apart, right?
Okay, so I have two ovals and I'm going to come in here and I'm just going to give it
a little highlight.
So just a little circle right here and shade it all in.
The original, the eyes are smaller and there is no highlight.
So if you don't like it like this, you can just draw it like the original.
So same thing here.
But just like all the other Hello Kitties I've been drawing, I just want to add some
sparkle to her eye.
Okay, so I got two big ovals in.
Right in between, I'm going to go ahead about here in the center and draw another small
oval for her nose.
So just a curve.
I'm going to round it off and connect there.
Then we're going to go ahead and draw her face.
So let's come to the top of the eye right here.
Just as a guide, come to the top.
Nice and wide.
We're basically going to be drawing a curve right around.
So I'm just going to use this as my guide.
Nice and wide, say about right here.
Give myself a point and I'm going to start to draw this big curve right around.
So same thing over here.
Let's go to the top of the eye, about the same amount, say about right here, and draw
a curve.
And then we're just going to go ahead and connect this curve.
So let's come right here, a little bit shallower, flatter at the bottom, and connect.
Nice big curve in.
Slide a little bit higher.
Okay, so then from there, I'm going to go up a little bit more.
I'm just going to bring this up and round it off.
And here, I'm just going to go a little bit, not too much, because I have a big bow I need
to draw there.
But before I do that, let's come in and draw the whiskers.
So come back to kind of where the eyes are and about in this area, I'm going to go ahead
and draw three of these curves.
And it's the same thing on the other side, so kind of like where the eyes are, it's about
right here.
Two and three.
There, got the whiskers in.
From there, let's bring this up a tiny bit more, and we're going to start to round off
her head and come over here and draw her ear.
So nice big curve, round off the tip, and just bring it right in.
So we're just kind of imagining it's going all the way across.
So I'll just stop about right there, because I have all these flowers I need to draw.
Now let's come back to this side.
And we're going to draw this big bow for Hello Kitty.
So above her eye, to the side a little bit, imagining this curve still going over.
So about in this area, go ahead and draw a big circle for the center of the bow and two
big loops at an angle.
So about right here, fix my bow, and then a wrong angle.
Okay, so then let's come right here in the center.
I'm just going to draw a center crease, so there's two curves.
And whatever space you have left, go ahead and fill it in.
And I just realized my whiskers are way too close, right?
So I'm just going to come here and erase this a little bit.
There, it's making her look mad.
Drew them in too close.
So there, much better, right?
It's always nice and handy to have these whiteout pens if you're starting off with a Sharpie.
Okay, so there.
Now we can come back in here, and we're going to start to draw all the flowers we're going
to put on the top.
So just still imagine this curve is coming around in this area.
Let's start with the first flower.
So nice and big, and put a circle right here, and I'll just put in a bunch of petals.
Just your basic flower, nothing fancy, whatever you want.
And you can come into the center and draw some lines right inside for the center.
And let's add some more to fill up the space.
So maybe right here, part of a circle, a smaller flower, whatever space you have left.
Then you could tuck in a leaf right here just to fill in the space.
Maybe, let's see here, we can tuck in another flower, so the center.
So like I said, just fill in the space with whatever you like, maybe another leaf right
here.
There.
Okay, so then whatever space we have left, we can go ahead and finish off her ear, and
then the other ear.
So about in this area, it's going to come out.
So let's see, about right here, I'll just go ahead and pop out her ear, right there,
and bring it in.
And now the horn, of course.
So right in the center, right here, go straight up, and about right here, just give myself
a point.
And from there, I'm going to go ahead and draw my horn.
So just bring it down on both sides, and I'm going to come in here and put some curves
for some detail.
Maybe one more.
So now that we're done with Hello Kitty's head, let's go ahead and draw her little outfit.
So nicely centered, I'm going to come about right here and here, I'm going to draw a soft
curve.
And about right here, I'll stop it, and it's going to connect, but before I connect it,
I'm going to come about right here in this area and draw another flower.
If you're using a pencil, go ahead and finish the curve first.
So just draw this nice flower right here to decorate her dress.
And let's add a leaf to spruce it up.
And now we can go ahead and connect.
Right here.
And then the skirt part.
So let's poof it out a little bit, bring it out, give it some flow, go out, the same level.
And then now we're just going to go ahead and connect it with a bunch of curves all
the way across.
So in the center, it's going to be lower and then comes right back up.
And let's come in here with some of these curves for the dress.
And let's see here.
Now for her arms, nice and simple to her side, I'm going to come about right here and just
bring in a curve and tuck it in.
So same thing here, about the same area, about right here.
And her feet.
So nice and simple, right in the center, we're going to go about right here.
And just draw a slight curve on both sides.
And come down, about right here, another curve, and connect it.
And same thing here, right there, and connect.
And of course, we need to add a heart.
So right here, I'm going to add a heart right here for Hello Kitty, dressed up as a unicorn.
And as you can see, my whiteout pen, I need to put in another layer right here, because
now your star is coming through.
