Twinners!
Libby, this way.
Wait, is there a tree?
Hey guys, and happy Monday.
Today, Halle and Libby are starting soccer for the very first time.
So we need to go pick out shoes, soccer balls, all the things.
So we thought we would take you along with us.
We're just getting ready to head out the door, and hopefully it's a fun little afternoon with me and the three oldest kids.
Let's see.
Which one do you guys want?
Maybe this one?
Go pick one out, Lib.
Can I get a football?
This one.
Oh yeah, that one's cute.
Halle, is this a soccer ball?
I don't think those are soccer balls. Those are volleyballs.
What's this one?
Oh, I want that one.
That's cute. You need a size four, I think.
Alright, that's a good one, Halle.
Let's go pick out some shoes. Libby, which one do you want?
Same one?
Do you need a size three?
Libby, do you want this one?
Oh yeah, that one's cool.
Oh, look!
Oh yeah, those are cute.
Do you guys want to do pink socks?
Come pick out a sock, Lib.
You like those ones?
Or there's these ones.
Libby, which shoe do you like?
Do you like this one?
Oh, those are cool.
Gold are cool, too.
Which one do you want, Lib?
Alright, so we got pink and black.
We got mint and pink. You like those?
Yeah. Okay, do you like those, Halle?
They feel good?
I think you have room to grow.
You got your balls.
Libby, you got your socks and your ball.
I think they're my socks.
And you got shoes and shin guards.
Okay, let's go pay for them.
Was that fun? Yeah.
Got your soccer stuff?
Hey guys, so today is going to be a fun day.
We're getting ready for all sorts of activities here.
We've got dance. We've got soccer.
Ty's starting piano.
We've got Libby starting soccer.
Halle's starting soccer for the very first time.
So we're getting ready for that.
So apparently they're open 11 to 4.
So...
She doesn't have any dance shoes today.
Not sure what to do.
Her dance class starts in about 20 minutes.
So we came early to this place
right next to her dance class.
So let's go in and get you registered
and then we'll see if they have any extra shoes you can borrow.
Alright, so we're just waiting here
since we have like 20 minutes, huh?
Yeah.
What are you most excited for about dance?
I like the dance.
The dances that you learn? Like the routines?
Which one do you like better, jazz or ballet?
I like jazz.
But ballet's still very fun.
Do you remember how to dance?
It's been so long, huh?
I know.
Okay, let's go head in there.
Alright, we almost forgot our masks.
So she has to wear a mask while she dances.
But that's okay, right?
We've got these awesome ones my sister made.
We've got mint today. Super cute.
So you guys, we totally lucked out
because they're not doing shoes today
for dance
because they're refinishing the floor.
So we lucked out.
We're gonna come back and we'll take you along
with us when we come back to get her jazz shoes
and her ballet shoes, see what she picks out.
Sound good? Yeah, we're lucky.
We are lucky. Okay, ready to go dance?
Let's do it. Have fun.
They have to wear all their masks.
So cute.
Hopefully they can breathe
while they're dancing.
Alright guys, so she's in that
corner room and it's really
hard to see her in there. You just have this
little window and she wasn't
on that side. So I will try
to catch her next week so we can see
what she's up to in jazz and ballet.
But for now, I'm actually headed to dinner
with some friends. So I dropped her off
and Marcos will pick her up. So we will catch you
guys tomorrow when we head to soccer.
Alright Hallie, how's school going?
Good. What's today?
First day of
soccer. Oh yeah, soccer.
For you and for
Levi. Oh hi Stella.
Come here
Stella. Stella got a little cold from
the weekend. She just still has a runny
nose. So that's fun. First
day of soccer. Are you excited? Yeah.
Okay, so we got to get through school today
and then we'll take you along with us
when we go for Hallie's
first time ever playing soccer.
Excited? Yeah.
Want to show everyone your new outfit?
Yeah.
This cute outfit. I got her just a target.
Super comfy, huh?
Yep. I like it.
How's school? Good.
Lounging on the couch for school?
Yeah. Cool, cool.
Stella's having a little meltdown because she wants to take her
blanket outside. You ready to go night night?
No.
And I won't let her because that stays in your bed.
So it doesn't get all dirty.
Okay?
What you doing Hallie?
This that I got for my birthday.
My birthday card.
And you have a little break right now?
Yeah. Going outside? The weather's
really nice. You want to go outside?
No, we got to go outside. Let's go outside.
Blanket. Not with your blanket.
No. We got to leave it here so it doesn't
get dirty, okay? Okay.
Okay. Do you see the
flowers? Yeah.
She's obsessed with flowers lately.
Should we go down the slide?
No, it's hot. It is hot?
Flowers!
We're starting this Monday out
super good. The kids are on their
schedules. They're getting the hang of things for school.
So I'm super grateful for that.
But it's time to make dinner.
Because tonight Hallie and
Libby both have soccer at the exact same
time at different parks.
Not really happy about it because I was hoping to be able to see them both.
So Marcos and I are going to
divide and conquer. He'll probably take
Hallie. I'll take Libby.
And both the practices are at 6.
Which is usually when we eat dinner. I thought I'd get an
easy dinner going on the crock pot. Something I've
never made before. I actually got this recipe
from a friend at
a shower that I threw last week.
And she used it as an appetizer.
But I'm like, this could be a great meal.
So it's just jelly meatballs
I think is what she called it. I've never
made meatballs for the kids.
But it's super easy.
Three ingredients and I'm going to show you right now.
I know the ingredients sound a little bit funny
and meatballs. It's like, what?
But she just had little toothpicks that she
stuck in them and ate them with like a bunch
of other appetizers and it was delicious.
So I thought I'd make them tonight. We'll see how
the kids like them. But super easy
which is what I need on a Monday because
we've got to eat early, clean up
and get to soccer.
This is super, super easy.
So you just get a bag of frozen meatballs
pour them on the bottom
of this. I've never made this like I said
but it was so yummy.
Heinz chili sauce and
grape jelly. It has to be jelly not jam.
So mix these together in a mixing bowl
pour it over and then cook on low
for three to four hours.
Alright, so we got the grape jelly
and the Heinz chili sauce. I'm just going to
mix them together.
Again, you guys
I know this sounds weird but it was so
yummy. I also love using a
crock pot liner bag for easy, easy
clean up. You just throw it away. You don't even have to
clean the crock pot.
I just like to grab a spoon
and kind of mix them around to make sure
you get sauce on
all those ones over there. And then we're
going to cover and cook on low for three to
four hours. Pretty easy guys.
And I'm just going to heat up some rice and it'll
be yummy.
Good?
Alright, dinner
is served. We just got a veggie tray
some fresh
grapes. What do we think guys?
Brand new recipe.
Thumbs up
from Hallie.
The most pickiest eater of the family. She likes
it. Thumbs up
from Libby. What about Ty?
Thumbs up? Stella?
Thumbs up?
She's not really eating
it. No, this is the evidence.
What about you? I like it.
It's a good change up, huh?
I've already eaten one serving.
No, you're not all done. You've got to eat it. So
three out of four, I'll take that for a win, right?
Hallie's up and down about it.
Oh, Hallie.
Oh, you let
looks be deceiving, huh?
Let's see your soccer outfits.
Twinners.
Oh, cute, cute,
cute.
Cute. You guys ready?
And the back of our pants
are rainbow. Rainbow pants.
Okay, you guys done
eating? Almost.
Get some good food so we can go to
your first day of soccer.
All right, we getting
all ready?
You put the shin guards on
first, then the socks, and
then the shoes.
I'll show you.
All right, Hallie, you ready?
Let's go get a picture. All right, you got your
ball? Okay,
say cheese.
All right,
Liv, you ready? Let's go take
your picture. You look like a soccer
player. You ready?
Okay, let me see.
Say cheese.
All right, you ready to go?
Livy? Yeah, and
I'm stepping on the
Gomez rug.
The Gomez rug. Okay,
let's go. We got to go pick up your friend. Dad has
Hallie, and we got to go to your first soccer practice.
You guys look
so cute.
Well, we made it to the
park. The soccer fields are right behind us.
Hallie, you feeling a little nervous?
It's going to be fun though, right?
Yeah, because I've always wanted to try
soccer before. Yeah, I never
got to play when I was a kid, so this will be
fun to watch you play, and I'll be on the sidelines
in my chair with my
mask on, and we'll try to get some good
shots of you playing some soccer.
Okay, this is just practice.
This is just practice. You're right.
Practice number one.
Well, that's
practice number one in the books.
How was it, Hallie? Good.
So good.
So, did you have fun then?
Yeah. Good. A lot of those girls have been
playing for a couple years. You can tell.
Yeah, one of them said that she was
playing for four years.
Four years. That's a lot of experience,
but I thought you did really well for just being
out here one time. That's it.
I wonder how Libby did.
Mom went with Libby,
so we'll see how she did. Once a week,
practicing away. Hallie did a good job.
Come on. Practice kicking the ball.
Oh, this way.
Libby, this way.
Nice, Lib.
First time ever kicking a soccer ball, I think.
She's doing pretty good.
Whistle.
I'm surprised how naturally
good she can run and kick the ball.
You're doing good,
but make sure you don't touch the ball with your hands,
okay? Soccer, you're not allowed to touch
the ball with your hands. Just use your feet.
Yep, you're doing good.
Okay, go back in line.
Working hard?
Getting some water?
Having fun?
Practicing throwing it in.
Good throw.
How was it, girlies?
Good.
Is it fun?
Practice is all over, so we can go, okay?
Alright, you girls worked hard.
I think you deserve a treat.
What do you think?
We deserve a treat?
Icy from 7-Eleven
or an ice cream cone?
Slurpee.
Slurpee? Yeah.
Yeah, it's good.
Ready? Yeah!
Okay, slurpees
for everyone who worked hard at soccer.
Who worked hard? Me!
I don't know, let me see.
You're looking pretty sweaty. I think you worked
pretty hard. Did you work hard?
Yeah. Alright, Kamri, did you work hard?
Okay, you're going to share with
Hallie, okay? Because she probably didn't get anything
with Dad, so we'll bring her home one to share, okay?
Okay.
Good? Yeah.
Alright, we are back
home. Did you like your slurpee? Yeah.
Livvy shared with you, right?
Girls are in bed, and Hallie's
just about ready to go to bed, right?
How was soccer? Good.
What was your favorite part? Kicking the ball
and the goal. Did you make a goal?
Yeah. Can't wait to see the footage Dad got.
But it was fun? Yeah.
It was Hallie's very first time ever doing soccer as well.
I think you both did great. You excited
to do more? Yeah, I'm excited to see
Livvy too. Oh, yeah. So,
thanks for watching my soccer vlog.
Give a big thumbs
up. Ring that bell.
See you next time. Don't forget
to subscribe. Don't forget to subscribe.
Bye.
