I was in there like, I was like, what's this?
Eight back-to-back calls.
There's just so much layoffs going on.
And then I look around, I slip in my bag.
So good!
It's so good!
To you!
Hi, welcome to our new season.
We love you all.
And thank you.
Oh my goodness, you guys, I just came back from two events.
And I have an insane haul to get.
I'm going to call my boyfriend and do a little haul.
So I went to a Cezanne event and then I went to a Walmart creator event.
I had calls today that ended literally at five.
So I was rushing and both events end at 8pm.
So I went to Cezanne first.
I didn't expect it, but they gave a gift.
Want to see it? Guess what it is.
Close.
No, it's not close.
Look at how big this bag is.
I've been wanting a suede brown bag for the fall.
Isn't it so cute?
I'm not a hater, but you're a cowboy.
You're a freaking cowboy.
Isn't this so cute?
This is one of the bags.
Oh, it's got a buckle or something.
And I got a melon.
A melon?
Yeah, a cantaloupe.
It's my favorite vine.
Because they were doing different showroom sections.
And the first one was like a grocery shop.
Isn't this crazy?
So you stole it?
No, you can take- you can literally take-
It's literally like you're at Walmart.
Except you don't have to pay for anything.
You can grab anything you want there.
And you just decided to take that?
Yeah.
You're freaking jealous.
This whole event was a wellness themed one.
Polly gummies.
Band-Aids.
Sparkling water.
Bunch of Advil.
Sunscreen.
Emergency.
Multi-vitamins.
De-stress gummies.
Let me sleep gummies.
Deep blow one.
This was the first thing I grabbed.
Laser focus pumps.
Bloom lemonade.
Whole store of things for you to grab anything.
This was me being courteous.
Because I was in there like-
I was like, what's this?
And then I look around and I slip in my bag.
I have to be demure, you know?
Nasal sticks.
A body mist.
Allergy relief.
Vitamin body scrub.
Hair growth and anti-shedding.
Makeup.
Pill box.
Body butter.
Pimple patches.
You're pulling unlimited things out of the bag.
Cuticle oil.
This double bag.
I ran out of space in that bag, so I put it in my Cezanne bag.
Mixed bell pepper chips.
Healthy Pringles.
Honey roasted sesame chips.
Chips.
This is what I got for you.
Bad breath.
I'm so serious.
I got it for you.
Why'd you get it for me?
You have bad breath?
I don't need that.
Nail filer.
It's a bag.
It's a Cezanne bag.
Isn't it cute?
It's fluffy.
This is your biggest haul I have ever seen.
I'm not done yet.
I'm gonna show you my haul from the other day.
I decorated it.
So there's stickers on it.
And it says Gishiki on the back.
That's my haul.
Are you jealous?
How am I jealous?
I am not kidding you guys.
This is your sign to start posting because what do you mean?
I got all of this for free.
Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.
I have a very, very packed agenda this week.
So I wanted to do a weekly vlog.
I've been trying to fall asleep but it's raining so bad outside.
And it's almost 2am.
I'm 13 right now and I have my first call at 11am.
I just made myself some matcha.
Let's get started on my day.
I'm scripting over here for this weekly vlog right now so I can send the notes over to my editor.
I'm so out of it right now.
I think it's because I have a lot to do this week and I'm spiraling.
I feel like I get asked a lot.
How do I balance being a content creator, doing my own job and building a business at the same time?
A lot of you guys can probably relate to this but my brain genuinely gets so overworked and stressed and I overthink a lot.
So it's very important for me to invest in tools and technologies that can help me work more efficiently and keep everything together.
So thank you Notion for sponsoring this video today.
If you work in corporate, you've probably sit through so many back-to-back meetings.
Everyone's taking their own notes and by the end of the day, it's impossible to consolidate everything or figure out what's actually actionable.
That's why I like to use Notion's AI agent to transform the notes.
If you're already taking notes in Notion, you can turn all that chaos into a clean, structured summary in seconds.
This is the prompt that I entered.
Which helped group related ideas and removed duplicates from different people and highlighted next steps so that your notes actually become useful.
And if some parts still feel too wordy, you can just highlight it and ask Notion's AI agent to make it more concise.
Then just accept or reject edits right in the page.
Once the notes are cleaned up, you can use Notion's agent to take it a step further and build a proposal plan.
The best part is you don't need to copy or paste anything, it's all already inside your Notion.
Notion agent can search across sources and analyze everything instantly.
Here is the prompt that I entered.
You can see within seconds.
Notion AI already presents you with ideas that look polished.
It's literally like having a teammate who already knows exactly what you're working on and helps you pull together everything efficiently.
Honestly, learning to use AI is like training a muscle.
It's a tool that gets more powerful the more you use it.
So if you want to work smarter and stay organized without all the chaos,
I definitely recommend giving Notion's AI agent a try.
I was actually talking to one of my creator friends who's also a corporate girlie.
I was saying that I'm struggling so much trying to balance my 9-5 job,
while building a business, while trying to grow my social media.
And I feel like I have to drop one of them.
And for me, there's no way I'm going to drop this kishiki matcha business
because it's my baby right now and I've been trying to grow it and it's fulfilling
and I'm learning so much throughout the process of how to be a business owner.
I don't think I want to drop content creation or social media
because this is something I had also built from ground up,
two years ago after I had quit banking.
And I love the opportunities and people I meet through it.
So then that just leaves my corporate job.
And I was going through this whole quarter-life crisis,
wondering if corporate is not meant for me anymore.
But that set me down a spiral because I had spent the entirety of my early 20s
recruiting, working in corporate, trying to climb up the corporate ladder.
And now if I suddenly decide I don't want to do corporate anymore,
it seems like my trajectory and my future is too unknown.
Corporate does provide that stability and that linear growth, I think.
So there was a lot to talk about and think about,
but my friend actually gave me really good advice.
She said a lot of people in our generation are pretty against corporate
because it's not the same as it used to be anymore.
It's not as stable as we once thought.
There's just so much layoffs going on,
so much competition within the employees market
and employers just don't provide us the same transparency
and benefits as they used to.
Because of that, people are so against corporate.
But she told me to really think about it and ask myself,
if I'm not fulfilled in my current job, why is that the case?
Is it because I'm not getting paid enough?
Is it because I don't feel like there's a growth path for me?
I'm not getting challenged enough?
Like whatever it is, she told me to try to pinpoint it
and then imagine myself in a different role where that aspect is fulfilled
than would I still want to quit corporate?
And that really got me thinking.
Anyways, we ended up talking about just how we're in our 20s
and we have the most energy right now
and it is a good time to build out multiple streams of income.
So I think I really needed that conversation.
It just helped me realign and stay inspired to keep trying
or at least keep doing what I'm doing.
That was my Monday ramble.
I guess my point is, if any of you guys are struggling
with work-life balance and wanting to give up,
whatever it is, just stick it through.
I know you're going to make it.
I know we're going to make it.
And sometimes we just need a little bit of a break to reassess.
Let me get back to work.
Once I finish my call, I change back into my bathroom
because I don't have any more calls for the rest of the day.
Anyways, here's my nails right now.
I'm going to get my nails done tonight.
I still really love this set.
And to show this sweater that my friend got me,
there's an embroidery of my tattoo here.
Isn't this so cool?
This is my gloomy day fit.
My nails.
I did a dark blue set.
Honestly, they look pretty cool, pretty grunge, but low-key,
I think I like the last set better.
My nail tag did so good.
This is exactly what I asked for.
But I feel like I still need to get used to the color.
I'm not going to lie.
I thought about staying home today.
But let me get ready to go to office.
I'm trying to figure out if I should leave office early today
or go straight to my appointment after work.
I decided to just wear something a bit more formal.
And then I'll go to the event straight after work.
I think I have one main priority in trying to handle at work.
I have a lot of meetings.
Okay, so my intern just sent me one of the videos
that she edited for her TikTok.
And I really like it.
Check it out, guys.
Learn some data.
This is insane.
Thank you.
40.
I got a package.
Huda literally has the best PR packages.
So many boxes and bags from Huda.
I guess they did a collab with Peace Out Skincare.
Fun fact, Peace Out Skincare was the first beauty event I attended.
Eclipse.
I'm going to shower, edit, and then order my Halloween costume.
I'm going to check my emails first and then make a watch.
I need to make a final revision for a video that I'm going to submit.
Send through an incremental search media plan that I'm working on.
I'm going to try to edit a short-form video.
It's been very inconsistent with that.
And then I have a couple calls in the calendar today.
But I'm heading out around 4, 4.30.
I'm sitting in between calls, so let's make a strawberry milk mocha latte.
3pm.
Oh my god.
I'm going to wrap up and then get ready to go out.
Because we're going to select a glaze for this pottery project.
Right now it's mid-October.
I'm hoping we can get something done by November.
We were just talking through and negotiating prices last week.
Margins are so high.
So please understand when you guys see the final pricing of these kits.
I'm trying my best to cut down the cost with our pottery artist.
So that it can be cheaper for you guys.
I think this one is so pretty.
This is so pretty.
I want that.
Different colors.
One's darker and then one's lighter.
I was looking at all of the sample glazes.
And I didn't love everything.
I feel like it's really hard to choose because I have a personal style that I like.
It's more earthy, dark, textured, traditional looking.
But I feel like what's going to sell with my demographic is more colorful, cutesy, bright.
I think we're going to try to select two.
I asked the studio to make some samples.
Hopefully we can get them in two weeks.
Because it's going to be November and I'm traveling mid-November.
So I don't really know.
Hopefully this all works out.
Let me take some de-stressed gummies.
Maybe that will help.
Also that laser appointment was super quick.
It's like 6 out of 10 paid.
Shoot.
I decided to work from home today because I was not feeling good.
Chicken nuggets and my dad made some rice cakes.
Guys, this is crazy.
But I have been in eight back-to-back calls from 10am until 3.30pm today.
I can't even talk.
These are my freaking calls this week.
Today, back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back.
I have to go to my Microsoft event at 4pm.
Second to last call of the day and my head hurts so bad.
My head still hurts.
This Advil did not work at all.
I finished my work early so I'm going to head out now.
It's 4.06pm.
I just hopped off a call with this brand, Kovri Backstory.
I attended this creator's event with Kovri.
They're this furniture brand from Canada.
But they have pop-up space in New York City.
Back then I was networking with one of the marketing girls who set up the event.
And asked if they were ever interested in a matcha event.
And she ended up connecting me with their CEO and then head of marketing.
Here we are now.
She actually reached out yesterday to do an event together.
There is a really really tight deadline now.
Because it's next week for around 80-100 people.
And we literally only have one remaining batch of matcha.
This event is going to use up all of the ingredients, tools, materials.
Who's going to provide what.
What's going to be on the menu.
Signages.
Posters.
Timing schedule.
When people are going to come in.
The amount of people.
And then lastly, just budget part.
That's the trickiest.
Because I've never ran an event with this many people.
So I need to do a bit of calculation.
I'm excited for this.
I have a call for work in 3 minutes.
I need to hop on the call.
It's my first and last one of the day.
Thank god there's only one.
Is this too dark?
There's so much.
Be careful.
