How To Clean A Nut Milk Bag

So today I'm going to show you how to clean a nut milk bag. You might think that making nut milk at home is a big mess, but it's actually super easy to clean a nut milk bag. And I'm going to show you that today. Plus I'm going to show you a really cool hack that'll keep your nut milk bag from getting all wrinkled and it'll keep it looking nice and you will not have to iron it. I promise. So here's our nut milk bag. I've just made almond milk and I have a bunch of pulp in here. Now I'm going to save this pulp. You can do that or not. You know, you can pour it right down the drain with some water and it will just, um, you know, it'll go right down. But I like to save it because I can make almond flour and other things with it. So I'm just going to set that aside and then you go ahead and turn your bag inside out and you know, it's just like really fine rounds from the almonds and they come right off with just a little bit of warm water. Now depending on what you use your nut milk bag for, you may want to use a little bit of mild dish soap that doesn't have any scent and that can help you get the oils out. But most of the time I only use water and I just kind of work it around and get the pulp out. Now our bag is designed so that the drawstring is on the outside so you shouldn't get any pulp stuck in there. And then I just kind of check it and it looks pretty good. So what I'm going to do is just turn this off, kind of shake it out. Now here's where the fun part comes. Um, to dry this, it only needs to be air dried and the best way to keep its shape so that you don't have like a bunch of wrinkles. Cause when you use this a lot of times, um, from all the squeezing, you tend to get wrinkles and it'll kind of shrink up. So you just take a plate and you stick it in there and you stick it on your drying rack like that and voila. Now if you're using your bag for things like green juice and coffee, you may find that it's staining. You can try using a little extra soap in it to get it cleaned and it's totally normal and it's totally fine to use if it's stained.
