How to Draw MERRY CHRISTMAS Letters

Hi Draws and Cuties, Winnie here. Today we're going to draw Santa. So let's get started. To draw this cute Santa Claus, let's first start by drawing his eyes. So I'm going to start right here with a circle. And then I'm going to come across about this wide and draw another circle. There. With my two circles in, I'm going to make the Draw So Cute eyes with two small circles inside for highlights. And a curved line at the bottom and shade in the top. And lines at the bottom. And same thing over here. Now that my eyes are in, I'm going to come to the center in between the eyes and draw an oval for nose. So about right here. I'm just going to go ahead and draw a curve, round it off and connect it. Round nose right there in the center. Then we can go ahead and draw the mustache. So I'm going to come right about here in the center on the side and I'm just going to draw a curve coming down underneath the eye. And then curve out. Same thing here. I'm just going to curve down underneath the eye and come up a little bit. Same thing on both sides. And then come back to the center right about here and just connect it with a curve. So same thing on the other side. There. And then we need to draw a smile. So right about here. I'm just going to go ahead and draw a small little curve and thicken it up. There. Then let's come back up on top of the eye and let's say about right here, right over the eye, we're going to draw a curve kind of like at a slant and I'm going to thicken it up for the brows. Nice thick brows and round. So same thing on the other side. But right here, right over the eye and slant. And same thing. So now that we have that, let's go ahead and connect it. So right about the center of these two brows and just go ahead and connect it with a curve. And then we're going to continue this curve coming down. So imagine it's coming through and about right here. We're going to bring it down and same thing here. And before I finish that curve, what I'm going to do is I need to frame the face. So I'm just going to come about right here, just a little bit out. And right here, I'm going to bring a curve to connect to this part right here around the eye. Just going to draw a curve and connect it. So same thing on the other side. Draw a curve and connect the mustache. There. Now we can go ahead and I'm just going to bring this down a little bit more, not too much, so we can draw the beard. So let's say about that much on both sides. And then I'm going to bring this down, come out and curve it in. Come out and curve it in. So this is going to be the beginning of the mustache, I mean the beard. And so I'm going to bring this down. I'm going to curve it towards the center. Nice long beard. So let's say about right here towards the center. I'm just going to curve. Out a tiny bit and then bring it right back here with a wobble. So as I go up, I'm going to wobble and wobble to connect. Just one wobble right here and connect. There. Then let's go back up and finish our hat. So now that we have this point right here, I'm going to go up with a curve for the rim of the hat, of our Santa's hat. Same thing here and about the same height. I'm going to go ahead and connect it with a curve all the way across. There. One big curve. And then the top. So that'll be cute to make it a little bit different this year. So I'm just going to go up. I'm going to angle in and right about here. I'm going to come out and then right about here. We're going to come in just like the other side. And then here, just come in, connect and add a little circle right here. There. Okay. So now that we have that, let's go ahead and oh, I almost forgot the ears. I thought that'd be extra cute. So let's pop in some ears here. So curve. Now we're just going to put in one curve and another one. So same thing here. Curve and two. And then we need to draw the body. So I'm making the body extra simple this year. So let's say about right here, the side of the face, we're going to come down, skip a little bit of space and I'm just going to give myself a point. So same thing here. So towards the side, give yourself a little point, skip a little bit of space. So now that's pretty much centered. I'm going to come right here and draw a slight angle line. So this is going to be the body. Bring it down a tiny bit more. Not too much. About right there. Now the same height, we're going to go ahead and connect it. Move a curve and then let's come back right here and we're going to poof this out for Santa's jacket. So the bottom part and connect. And then since we're down here, let's go ahead. We're going to find our center, which is about right here. So let's say about right here, we're going to go to the left and go to the right. And using that as my guide, I'm going to draw an angle line on both sides. Make them short little legs and make it extra cute. So then from there, we're going to come back about right here, draw a line, and then I'm going to just draw a curve coming in and connect just to simplify it. And put another curve right here for some detail. So same thing over here. So about here, just like the other side. And we're going to draw this curve for the shoe. Connect it and another curve. There. So now for the hands, let's come about right here on the side and I'm going to draw this one first. So we're just going to come down right about there and then not too long. So say about right there, I'm going to go ahead, draw a curve to cap it off and then we're going to pop it out and come back in and then the glove hand. So right about here, I'm just going to draw a curve for a thumb and a bigger curve for the rest of the hand. And then the other side, we're going to have Santa waving. So let's come back about right here, just like the other side. But on this side, we're going to come out about that much. Same thing and then cut it off and then add a curve right here. And another curve right about there. And then the gloved hand. So right here, I'm just going to add a thumb and a big curve for the rest of the hand. There. And then for some details on his jacket, let's come back to the center and we're just going to draw a buckle. So kind of drawing the square right here in the center. And I'm just going to round off this square just to make it extra cute and soft. There. And then I'm going to come back in. Draw that and then we're going to connect it. So about right here, I'm going to draw a curve right into our buckle to create our belt. And then go across. So same thing here. There. Nice thick belt. And if you like, you can even draw a line down the center. Right about there. And I thought it'd be extra cute to put a little bag of toys right here. So if you want to do that, you can leave it like this and make it extra simple. But I thought it'd be really cute. We can just add it right here. So let's say about right here, I'm just going to go ahead, come down with a curve, wobble it out a little bit, bring it down to the same level as the feet. And about right here, make it extra big. So as much as we can. And then right here, I'm just going to wobble a little bit at the bottom. And then the little end of our bags, we're just going to add this little part right here. So it looks like Santa's holding a bag. And of course, since we have that, let's add some lines right here to make it look like a bag. And I'm going to add a huge part right here to decorate our bag of toys from Santa. And that is pretty much it for this new Santa that I hope will bring a smile to your day.
