Hi guys! What are you going to do tonight?
Are you people with a very marked routine or do you rather think that every night is a surprise?
Let's see what the night routine of the inhabitants of Barcelona is like. Let's go!
What are you going to do tonight?
Rest
Sleep
Honestly, I'm going to sleep because I have class tomorrow.
Well, I'm going to my house to sleep. Nothing special.
Well, I'm walking around Barcelona. I live in Madrid.
So I'm going to take the opportunity to eat, to walk and then I'll take the train back to Madrid.
Well, I've stayed with some friends. Now I'm going to a brunch and then a little exercise and that's it.
Now we're going to walk around here a bit and then later we'll go up to Puigcerdà.
Well, in principle, since it's Sunday, I'm going to stay at home, having a quiet dinner, watching a series or a movie
and go to bed early because tomorrow I have to work.
Well, I'm going to have sex in New York and I'll prepare dinner or I'll ask for a vice because it's a day off.
Tonight, well, I don't have any plans. I think I'm going to have dinner and go home because tomorrow is another day, Monday.
Tonight I'm going to watch football.
Who's playing?
Real Madrid.
Getafe.
Who do you want me to beat?
Getafe.
Getafe? Okay, curious.
Nothing, watch TV.
That's something, isn't it?
Yes, man. I'm alone, you're alone.
What are you going to watch on TV?
Oh, I don't remember. A movie by that bald man. I don't remember what it's called. A movie.
A movie.
A movie, that's it.
I don't have a lot of plans right now, but probably, since it's Sunday and I don't like to stay at home on Sundays,
I go out to eat with friends somewhere.
How do your nights usually look like during the week? Do you have a routine?
Yes, the truth is that I'm going to sleep pretty early.
I mean, I'm always in bed around ten o'clock.
Because for me, sleeping is super important.
And I have a perfect sleep. So, that's it. It's more like schedules, the routine.
I usually have dinner early, unlike the rest of the country.
I have dinner at eight o'clock.
Early?
Yes, very early.
To be from Spain, it's very early.
Because I like to go to bed with my stomach digested.
Not so full.
And that way, I sometimes have time to go out for a walk or even to watch a movie.
I don't usually go to bed very late because I get up quite early.
Let's see, I'd love to do things, but since this is every day,
I try to go to bed at ten o'clock.
But if I have to go to bed at twelve o'clock to study, I go to bed at twelve o'clock.
Well, I watch the news while I have dinner and then I go to bed.
No, the week in general, from Monday to Friday, I'm at home.
After work, I rest at home, I go to the gym.
And if not, I don't go out at night.
Only on weekends, sometimes.
Or I sit outside Barcelona.
Or in Barcelona, I have a drink, a restaurant with a friend.
But nothing else.
Since I'm a mother, the routine is that of my children.
So I don't choose much there.
There, I eat, we have dinner.
Well, my weekly routine is to have dinner at home, normally.
Or if not, to have dinner nearby, here in the neighborhood, in a nearby restaurant.
But nothing else, because I work early in the morning, so I have to get up early.
I'm from Chile, so I'm on vacation here.
And in general, of course, in Chile, I work during the week and at night, you can't imagine, I rest.
Yes, normally I go to bed at 12 at night.
And I always do sports.
I always try to sleep, I do abs, I run 2 or 3 kilometers.
Well, during the week, I usually train football in the afternoons.
When I get home, I have dinner and I usually go to bed pretty early.
About 11, more or less.
And the next day I'm ready to go to school.
I finish work, I prepare dinner, I always watch a movie or a series.
You're lucky.
I try to go to the gym early, have dinner early and go to bed at 10, 10.30.
Because I get up early to take the puppy out.
And what am I going to do tonight?
Well, I have it very clear, record a podcast of Easy Spanish.
And if you are one of those people who still think that podcasts are very difficult for you,
I can only do one thing and that is to recommend you to be part of our podcast membership.
And so you will have an interactive transcription with which you can read what we are saying.
And also use the Vocab Helper tool to have that extra help with the vocabulary that may still be difficult for you.
Don't doubt it anymore.
Look at the description box for more information and we'll hear from you very soon.
And now we continue with the interviews.
What was Saturday yesterday? Did you do something special at night?
Well, a little party. It's still going on. It just came out right now.
I left Madrid because I came to a concert of a band that is my band of life.
So I played and came to see them.
Yesterday, no. I had a game in the afternoon and then I went home.
Well, yes, I stayed with friends and we were drinking something.
After dinner, we stayed with friends.
No, I stayed fried, sleeping.
We went to the Tarde del Sutón and we got home around 11 more or less.
And I had a sandwich at the Bar Paris.
I went home and then I ate some cereals and talked to a friend of mine until 1.30 or 2 in the morning.
By phone. A friend who lives in London.
Oh, and I was at the Holy Family party.
It just happened, it came out very nice.
And that.
Mine was a little calmer.
I met up with a friend, we went to eat some hamburgers.
And from there we went to the cinema.
We went to a movie and then I came back and we met.
And of course, the weekend is already staying at my house.
And not much more.
I ate a kiwi and went to sleep.
Yes, I went to the Oktoberfest.
Can you explain to us what the Oktoberfest is?
Well, it's a party that has its origins in Germany, but they reproduce it in several locations.
And here at the fair, they put up some tents and make a replica of what the German Oktoberfest would be like.
It's with some friends.
And what do you usually do on Saturdays?
Normally, I either have a drink with my friends or maybe I stay at a friend's house to have a drink. It depends.
And what time do you usually go to bed during the week?
From 10 to 11, more or less, during the week.
Yes, I try.
12 and a half.
And me too, more or less.
At 12 and a half or 1.
And I get up at 6.
Well, I'll try to go at 10 or so to sleep, because if not ...
I go to bed around 11 and a half, more or less.
And do you get up very early?
I get up at 6 and a half.
And besides trying to sleep early, do you leave something prepared? Do you have a habit?
Yes, well, I leave my clothes ready the next day to be more effective.
Are you more of a day or night person?
Now I'm a day person, so before I was a night person.
I used to consider myself a night person, but now my nights are very short.
I mean, no, now I'm a day person. I wake up very early.
Half and half, but I would say more ...
It's complicated, because I like the day a lot and I do a lot during the day and at night too.
It's the same, but yes, I guess more during the day.
I think both, because during the day I like to do things and at night the same,
because you enjoy it with friends, it's like everyone works early,
so it's more like late, late at night, something like that.
I'm more of a day person.
I think that goes a lot with age, and when I was younger I liked the night more.
Now I prefer much more the day, the sunlight, and when it gets dark,
and now more in winter, I prefer to stay and pick up before.
During the day, I prefer to rest and take advantage of the day,
like this morning, go for a walk during the day,
but at 10 or 11 I want to be at home.
During the day, clearly.
During the day, yes.
At night, I go home.
During the day, at night I'm almost always in bed, even though I don't sleep.
I go to bed at 12 or 1, and at 3 or 4 in the morning I'm not sleeping.
I'm more of a day person.
At 10.30 I'm already dead, and no,
in fact it's when everyone is active to talk on WhatsApp and so on,
and I don't want to know anything about the world anymore, because I'm tired, normally.
More day person.
I love the sunlight.
Yes, the sunlight.
Well, when you grow up, you become more of a day person than a night person.
You take advantage of the day more.
I wake up late in relation to the rest of the people,
and very late in relation to her,
but I like to do things during the day.
On weekends, I prefer to do, I prefer the day plan,
which lasts, I don't know, eating with friends during the day,
and stretching until night, and at night staying calm,
watching my two series, eating my kiwi,
not listening to songs, and that.
But also, at the same time, I'm a very nocturnal person,
because I sleep late.
So, I don't know, I'm a disaster, would be the answer.
You've seen, everyone lives the night in their own way.
And you, what are you going to do tonight?
Leave us your answer in the comments.
And if you want to see a video, something similar,
but at the same time different,
I recommend that you take a look at the one we leave you here,
in which we see how people start their day.
Thank you very much, a kiss, and see you next time.
