What a special night this is. Obviously, you grew up on this show, you became a wife and a mom since this show.
I mean, when you think about this last decade, what have you most learned about yourself through this experience?
Gosh, I mean, I've learned a lot about being an actor, of course.
You know, learned a lot about my skill and my craft.
I've also learned a lot about being a good friend and more present.
And also, always harnessing my inner child.
Yeah, of course, because you grow up and you naturally want to be an adult.
It's the next step in your life.
But with this show, every time I come back to film, it makes me regress.
And it's the most positive experience.
I naturally just fall back into being the little kid who loves to play hide-and-seek on the set.
Oh my gosh.
That's really special.
In some ways, your childhood is so well documented.
It is on Netflix.
I know, it's on Netflix.
But most of my childhood is on Netflix at this point.
That's true.
Very, very honored.
I love it though.
This isn't like one of your campaigns.
You don't get to write the ending.
Not this time.
Obviously, seeing you and David on this carpet together,
talk to me about how special that connection is.
And really, all these relationships you have formed in your formative years.
It's been so special to have him along the journey for me.
Winona, the kids.
I obviously have a really special bond with David,
because we have a father-daughter relationship,
and we do every scene together.
And you'll really get to see that in season five.
So I'm really honored to have played Eleven
and to have met such amazing people along the way.
You joked to me that you're not able to respond as quickly to the group chat,
because, hello, you're a new mom.
What would you say has changed the most since becoming a mom?
They say you lose sleep.
You do.
There is nothing like losing sleep.
I mean, it's truly, you wake up and you're like,
what time is it?
But anything she needs, I'm there for.
Who do you trust most on this cast to babysit?
Sadie is very, very maternal.
Very maternal.
But, you know, Noah's a godfather,
so I trust all of them, to be honest.
They all turn into the most gooey, soft versions of themselves
when their baby voice comes out when they're around her.
So it's amazing.
And finally, can you tell me the one thing
that was important for you to keep from set
to remember your time as Eleven?
Her iconic pink dress in season one.
Oh, you need that.
Always, always have to keep that.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
Good to see you.
