Sofia SAMODELKINA (KAZ) | Exhibition Gala | NHK Trophy 2025 |

I think she has a little help from Joon-Won Cha, Korean skater, standing rinkside. Kazakhstan's Sofia Samodelkina becomes the first skater from her nation to win a medal in the women's event on the Senior Grand Prix. She skates away from Asaka, Japan, surprising herself with the silver medal at this event. Just one Grand Prix assignment for the Kazakhstan skater, but she absolutely grasped an opportunity. With that medal, an opportunity to amass some fans in Japan as well.
