【SHIMANO】進行一場前所未有的騎行探險——尼泊爾

Hi, I'm Tito Tomasi. I'm a professional mountain biker and I live in the French Alps. I love the mountains, I love traveling, and I'm a painter. I've always been dreaming about the ultimate adventure and the ultimate trip. This time, I decided to push something and push the boundaries for a trip in Nepal. For this journey, I invited my good friend Jav Goldberg, This Canadian freeride legend is known for rampage and for jumping, but he's also a badass. He's tough as nails and I can take him very far into the adventure. And the good point is, he's always laughing. We're going to have a good time and he's going to bring his own style to the adventure. And this trip is no joke because we're going to cross two massive mountain ranges of Nepal. We will try to climb a pass over 5,400 meters high. Face challenging conditions and all of this while being self-sufficient. So sit tight and follow us along one of the most epic routes in the Himalayas. We deflate the tires because we are flying today. Let's go to Jamsun. We are at the door of the Mustang. And here starts the real adventure now. After a long transfer. Go that way. Awesome. Just waking up. But overall, it was a good push up. So big. And the Dharagiri is one of the 14 highest peaks in the world. It's more than 8,100 meters high. We're out here. Just a casual pass over this landslide. Yahoo. Mustang. And I don't have you. Jeff. How was your day? My day was really good. But I gotta pee. Come on. It's so good. My bladder is full of joy from today. Acclimation finished. We had a couple of days. Now we are fully packed. And entering the Hopper Mustang today. On that pass over there. So big day, big climb. Oh my god. There's an army of them. Crazy. We got bananas. Really seem to want to end. Hello. Pillowcases and Hello Kitty blankets. Hello comfort. We're in Dakmar. We're gonna head into almost 20 kilometer trail section. We're from France. I will leave you the room for a second. It's titanic. Dude. You're really new. What happened? You know. I decide to wash the floor. So. You know. Just doing that. Thank you so much. Good travel. Thank you. OK. Have a safe journey. Thank you. Wow. Far exceeded any expectations I had for Nepal whatsoever. I'm losing my mind right now. Are you kidding me? How do you feel about that snow up there? It raises a lot of questions. We decided to make our mellow day quite a bit harder to take the trunk off of tomorrow which would have been our hardest day. Nepal. Namaste. Nepal. Go go go go. After a massive day going into the village and it's sunset. Beautiful stupa. We're in Tanghe. Looking for a place to sleep. And people are really warm welcoming. Checking in before bed. The accommodations here are pretty awesome. As you can see. We have a roof. Kinda. There's a giant bug outside of our room. I don't really want to walk over to show you but. Promise you. This is a giant bug. OK. Bye. What's the plan today? Today is our last day in Upper Mustang. So we're going south. It's a pretty big day. We have a really big big pass to cross. Not that high. But it's just going to be long. And we're going to try to reach the beginning of Turung La Pass. And be ready for tomorrow. Just crushed about a thousand meters of climbing. Where are we on our way to there Dino? We're on our way to Chusang. Go all the way. Tomorrow 5400 meters. You ready for that? Do I have a choice? Yes. The answer is no. Holy smokes. That wind is actually terrifying. And that's that. The end of our Upper Mustang loop. Holy. Probably the toughest couple days of my life. It was amazing. Loved every minute. Black clouds is where we're going. Yeah. We're heading into that kind of a stormy weather. But I'm sure it's going to be fine. What's going on? The winter is back. You look like you're dressed for the weather. So we have three possibilities. Or we try and see how far we can make it. Or we just go down and wait in the village. And the last one is to give up. Not a fan of the last one. Honestly, it's out of our hands. At the moment. It's basically hurry up and wait. You can't get mad. You can't get anything. You cozy? Yeah, I got the prettiest bed in the world. Yeah, so That's the plan. We're going to spend the day in Mutkina to wait.
