Dang Qiu vs Sora Matsushima - MS Final - #WTTFrankfurt 2025

Changes to the shakehand, a bit between points, down-choke. 3-5 3-4 3-2 3-9 4-8 Play! Game up to here. Bravery to youth, I should say. Yeah, let's just get past the touch play. Oh, that's murder! Game number two. 8-9 10-9 13-14 14 15-13 Game, Matsushima. Charge! 5-9 10-9 This is huge. It was light, yeah. Give me those vibes, too. Make it awkward, but there was so much touch play on the serve. 4-2 7-4 4-3 4-9 7-9 Unbelievable recovery. For the second time. Open table, but barely. How did he see this? Eyes on every side of his head, Sora took a chance. That was insane. ...percent successful. Sora, last time we checked. A good angle on this one. Net edge recovery. Double happiness retrieved. And that's quite rare. That's quite rare for me. That's not so obvious for me. That's not what Danto Kurin should do. Serve drifts long. And Sora's right there to just deflect like a laser into a mirror. This one bounces right back. 7-4 Leveled again, three points in a row. That was quality enough. 8-7 And all of a sudden, he takes the lead. And he's only three away from crashing the party. His last week in Montpellier. On home soil for his opponent. He has taken down, for the third time, Dang Chou. The last seat that remains has been de-seated. Sora Matsushima, a champion's champion. Not only the national champion.
