Emotional Bride Speech to Her Mother | Dedicates Flower Bouquet

Good evening everyone. At weddings there's not typically acknowledgement given to someone
incredibly special in the room tonight. Someone who often doesn't get the spotlight she truly deserves
and that is the mother of the bride. If you know me then you know that my mum is my best friend.
I would venture to say that in most weddings the mother of the bride plays one of the biggest
roles. She helped me pick the most perfect dress of my dreams, she made sure my shoes,
sorry, wouldn't hurt my feet. She also dried my tears of stress and happiness leading up
to this beautiful event. Most importantly she helped me convince dad to expand the budget just
a tiny bit. Thanks dad. Much like the role she's played in this beautiful wedding,
she has played those same roles throughout my life. She knows every part of me,
she has helped shape every part of who I am and every little detail that comes from me
is definitely from some parts of her. She is strong, kind, loving, selfless and most of all
her heart shines brighter than any other. She will always go above and beyond for people she loves.
She has stood by my side through all of my moments that I took my first dance class at
three years old, to the countless hours of competitions, rehearsals and performances
throughout my teenage years, even on every single birthday she has suffered. Sorry mum.
She has been my biggest support every step of the way.
Even that one time where she tried to help me with my stage makeup and accidentally glued my
eyelashes completely shut right before a competition. We panicked for a moment but
then we laughed it out until we cried and that's just one of many memories that showed
how much she was always there for me to help me open my eye up.
Mum I would be so lucky to even be half the woman that you are.
You have made me the woman that I am today and I honestly don't know how I would navigate my
life without you in it. So instead of a traditional bouquet toss, sorry ladies,
tonight I wanted to dedicate my bouquet in honour of my beautiful mother.
