Perugia vs Novara | Italian Volleyball LVF SerieA1 2025/2026

Mims with 37 points so far this season and made that 38 in her third ace. Williams wraps around that ball as Mims comes in with a massive backcourt swing on the pipe. Perinelli high off the hands this time. Mims, Williams then with a swing down the line which has come about a metre and a half in. Perinelli, left hand serve. Palsmaier coming in. Martini, balls kept up, that's a massive block coming in. Well Levens is in the right place at the right time there. Back to serve. Mims coming in on the pipe. And Navara exploiting the gaps. Good pressure on the angle serve. Well just talk about the Perugia medals. Martini with point 23 of the season. Oh that's a great ace serve down the seam to the left hand side. Routine at Fort Britt Helmets. Good aggression. Williams then with the swing. Helmets on defensive work with Palsmaier then going into the angle, into the corner. Point for Navara, 23-14. Got that feed all wrong. Had to adjust herself well to keep the ball in play. Navara comes to the left side with Palsmaier. And given the error from the service line from Williams. That's a massive block and a massive point for Perugia. Palsmaier takes that ball nice and high. Little tip in, is he still in play from? Top of that one short. Herbots into the block. Well the block is there and the cover, well. Russell Brown from the Italian setter. Oh she goes again but this time on a reverse. Could it be Cosley? It is Cosley. High to Belgium. She goes back to serve now. Out of system. Big block coming in. Williams closing in on 100 points. And there she is, 100 points for the season. With an ace serve. Williams continues to serve. Oh it's another ace in the corner. This one right in the corner at one. Look at that smile. Mellie to serve. It's the players opposite. But it's the Perugia opposite that does the damage. Ishikawa gets her first swing. Almost a trademark cross-court swing for Ishikawa. Second one. Changed it up. Happy taking it to the setters out. For the set then. Perugia with the swing. There it is. It's gone to Williams on the right side. The light show begins. Underway then with Levar serving. Great run through the middle. Something we've not seen enough of. 5-6. Massive block coming in from Indy Bayerns. And Coletta Canby. She goes again from that left side of the court. Oh has it caught the line? It has. It's a much better take. Brings the middle into play. Facho can't put it down. Can Williams? She can. She most certainly can. Oh that's a great take from the setter. Canby does. Lemons with one ace so far in this game. Oh no it's two. This one is dropped. Right in front. Now signing for Navarro comes on as a serving sub. To save the set. Chance again here. Perinelli. Oh great confidence. Bayerns through the middle. We've seen exactly what Indy Bayerns. 28-27. Bayerns through the middle. Chance here for Perugia. Second time of Asking. It's Williams. Off the hands. Great take. On the angle. They've done it. Well cue the pandemonium here in Perugia. Martellini with the serve. Tucking up Mausmeier. Bayerns though comes up with another slide. Hamilton able to ground it. And again with the run in the middle. No it's gone out wide to Gardini. 5-6. Herbots on the angle. Setter out. Williams. Oh that's huge. Straight back down from the captain. Herbots on the pipe. That's the additional amount of value that she adds. Her attacking options both on the right. Of this Navarro defence. Herbots. That's a great swing down the line. But what a sensational take. And then Lemons comes up with a block. A great team point. Perugia are doing. 16-17. Bonifacio. Shifts that ball back on to Markovic. Bayerns with the block. 22-17. Well Perugia are taking this all the way to the wire. Navarro serving. And a big aggressive statement. Keep the error count down. They'll ask real questions of this Navarro team. Again good blocking. Ishikawa. Well there we go. That's what she can do. Straight to that last point. Needs a response from his team here. And he gets it. What a response that is. The ball in from Siresi. Lemons with the serve. Another nice ball in. Bonifacio. Sets her out. Ishikawa on the angle. And she just finds them. Perinelli. A blocking sub. From the back line, Herbotz. Great side out from Navarro. Navarro. Match point then. 14-13 in the fifth. Perinelli with the left hand on the angle. This is tight. Oh what a put away. The nerves there from Nathalie Lemons. 15-15. Options for the middle. Bonifacio is still in play. It's going to be a free ball though. Oh it's great hustle. What a shot that is. Incredible. Well to keep the ball in play here. 18-17. Ishikawa. The chance here. Gardini's out wide. Gardini. Oh she's got it. Perugia have done it. 19-17 in the fifth.
