Just got out of the army, I served 11 years.
Thank you for your service.
Listen, listen, I just came for a little motivation, alright guys?
You guys wake up every day with freedom, you know what I mean?
You get to take a deep breath, you get to go get a coffee, you get to go eat breakfast, you know what I mean?
You guys don't have to worry about anything.
Let me tell you guys something, I wasn't afforded those luxuries.
I was born into poverty, I was born into substance abuse.
I don't know what it is to have parents.
My only way out was to join the military at the age of 17 years old, I am now 30 years old.
I just got out of the military January 30 this year.
And I want to let you guys know, freedom is not free, so enjoy what you're given, okay?
Honestly, honestly.
It's a privilege to be here, enjoy it.
Don't complain guys, don't complain.
Because I'm telling you right now, there's soldiers, there's marines, there's coast guards, there's guardians, airmen.
They're all waking up at the ass crack of dawn to provide for you guys.
I'm telling you guys, they're ready to go at a moment's notice.
I lost a brother of mine in 2017, October 4th.
Sergeant David T. Johnson, killed in Niger, Africa.
With a special operations battalion, you can look him up.
But guys, honestly, people are giving their lives on the line for all of you, okay?
We appreciate it, okay? That's all I got to say.
Thank you, God bless you man.
Thank you.
You want me to keep this?
Oh wow, thank you, that's very sweet, thank you.
Isn't that great?
Give it up for him one more time, thank you.
Why do you think there's a lack of patriotism and hating America is cool definitely in this younger generation?
And being in California where we're so diverse, being children of immigrants, and our parents came to this country for a reason.
Why is there that lack of patriotism?
I mean, we don't do a good job of teaching it, but it's just, it's ingratitude.
It's that you don't have gratitude for the nation that you're born in.
It's fashionable to hate your country.
And here's the true mark, is that these people don't actually hate America.
America's the only country ever where even those who hate it refuse to leave.
I appreciate you, thank you.
God bless.
How's it going?
So, I'm in the United States Air Force, and so, as someone who wants to serve my country,
as someone who is about to serve my military and put my life on the line for this country,
it's tough knowing that our nation promotes things like abortions and transitioning kids.
How do you reconcile serving a country that upholds these values, like these,
First of all, what's your name?
Hayden.
Hayden, thank you for wanting to serve our country.
You should be applauded for that.
Thank you.
And so, you want to serve your country.
Yes, sir.
Not your government.
Yes, sir.
Right?
Yes, sir.
You swear an oath to the Constitution and the people of the country.
Yes, sir.
Not the government.
Those are two different things.
Yes, sir.
We have great people in this country.
We have fallen.
We are definitely in a place where I think we're in moral decline.
But look at the goodness that still exists in this country.
Yes, sir.
And you're fighting to uphold those ideals, that kids can live in a free society.
We as conservatives differentiate between love of country and distrust and disdain of the government.
Those are two different things.
Yes, sir.
And the country is about our tradition, our history, our values, our people, our culture.
And the government is just a temporary stakeholder of charlatans, criminals,
and people that are constantly deceiving us and stealing from us.
So, how do you reconcile it?
Every day that you go to fight for us, you say, I'm not fighting for politicians.
I'm fighting for the three-year-old right now in Reno, Nevada, so that they can have a better future.
Yes, sir.
I'm fighting for the homeschool parent.
Yes, sir.
I'm fighting for the pastor.
I'm fighting so that we can keep on having liberty, life, and the pursuit of happiness.
That's what you're fighting for.
Yes, sir.
Not the den of thieves in Washington, D.C.
Yes, sir.
God bless you, man.
Thank you so much.
