Let's take a look at the next skater from Hungary, Zsófia Szabalákyi, Zsófia Szabalákyi, born in Budapest.
And I really saw Zsófia in the short program, she too, embracing all the learning opportunities and improving her rotational position in the short program.
Skating Terrain in Your Black Eyes by Ezio Basso.
Hungary's Zsófia Szabalákyi completes the free skate.
And now this is a skater that skated really pretty cleanly in Ankara as well, but had many more underrotations.
In this event, at least the triple sacros have gone in without review, proving that they are freely rotated.
So that confirmation of the progression that we're seeing.
Yeah, I think it's so great.
And we've talked about this often that skaters, we're going to see a lot of underrotations in juniors,
particularly probably in the early groups and maybe even some of the middle groups.
But it's so important that these skaters try these elements in competition,
except, you know, in competition, if they're underrotated, then fix it after that,
which is a bit of a process and takes some time.
There's the first triple sacros, double toe loop.
And that is in clean, wasn't even a review.
Nice. And there's the triple flip.
Sorry, double lutz, double loop, double loop, triple flip a little bit later in the program.
And that is being reviewed at the moment.
So I'm not sure if that's underrotated or not.
But I think it's clean.
Yeah. And we saw it at the end, the short program.
And I thought, oh, wow, this girl's really showed the improvement and got rid of the leg wrap a bit in the short program.
I think she attempted triple loop and triple flip and they were still underrotated.
And so we didn't get to see on her score sheet the improvement that we saw in practice.
But now, and it's the free skate with more triples, we're seeing all the work she and the team have done.
Some work has been done. So both triple flips were underrotated.
But nevertheless, she stood up on one foot, continued in the sequence in one of them.
So there's some really positive signs here that progress has been made to date.
And then she'll continue to do that.
And hopefully we'll see a clean slate.
And I saw on the warm up, Yulia Sebastian, you saw her passionately giving her some.
I saw the movement Yulia was doing ringside to try to encourage her student to really go for it.
And everybody's invested in Zofia, including Lashenko, her kiss and cry coach.
Good job. I mean, really, that's exactly what you want from your student.
To go out and work through that program the best they can at the level they are at at that moment.
Season's best, 86.53, that is first for Zofia in the free program.
And has a total competition score of 128.72, and that will put her into first place overall.
A little bit hesitant to go, OK, I'm not going to give you a big high five.
I'm going to give you a small one.
Great job.
