Smarter Tool Organization Saves Time & Money
Let’s face it—searching for lost or misplaced tools isn’t just annoying… it costs money. Every minute spent hunting for a tool is a minute not doing productive work. Toolbox Widget fixes that by giving every tool a dedicated, labeled, locked-in spot.
Modular System with Dovetail Connections
This system uses a brilliant dovetail connector that lets you build your layout however you want—wide, narrow, staggered, or perfectly fit to any drawer. No rigid trays. No wasted space. Just full customization for ALL your tools.
Rock-Solid Magnetic Stability
Each organizer has a robust magnetic base that keeps it locked where you put it—even if you slam the drawer. Your tools stay in formation no matter what.
The Missing Tool Indicator
Their signature feature—an orange “Missing Tool” tab—immediately tells you when something is out of place. Perfect for shop accountability, mobile techs, aviation maintenance, or anyone who wants zero guesswork.
Toolbox Widget also offers a smart color-coded system: One color for SAE tools Another for Metric tools This makes mixed sets instantly recognizable and keeps your workflow smooth. Short and Tall Stem Labels Instantly Identify the Socket Home and Size. Short stems are used for regular sockets, and tall stems are used for deep sockets.

COMING SOON! Remember, Just Do It Yourself!
Hey, Dirt Farmer Jay from dirt
farmerj.com. It's like Christmas
morning. Look at this. These are great
tool organizers for my friends at
toolbox widget. We're going to start at
an organization adventure together. And
as I organize my workspace, I'm going to
show you as I implement each of those in
my toolboxes and see if this set of
organizers is a great solution for you.
Stick around.
Hey, Der Farmer Jay here from der
farmerj.com. I'm going to take you along
on an organization adventure. And as you
know, if you're a mechanic, a
woodworker, a maker of some kind, love
working, turning a wrench in your
garage, keeping tools and the workspace
organized is not a one-time event. It's
an ongoing process. And if you have
great accessories and tools that are
tools themselves and helping keeping
things organized like these from Toolbox
Widget, then you're on the right track.
Now, these pieces of equipment are works
of art in themselves. If you're looking
for cheap organizers,
these aren't it. These are highquality
lifetime tools. They're modular dovetail
connectors with high strength magnets
and a lot of different accessories. So
today, what I'm going to do is give you
a brief overview and then we're going to
create a playlist as we implement each
one of these in my tool boxes to show
you how they go together and the before
and after. But for right now, let's give
you a brief overview of the products
that I have before me. And like I said,
this is like Christmas. Here we go.
Let's start over here. Here's Toolbox
Widgets proprietary grip mat. Now, this
is 100% silicone. Uh, and what it does,
it sticks to the surface of the piece of
equipment, whether it's a vehicle,
aircraft, boat, motorcycle, uh, fender,
whatever. That allows you to place all
your tools without them sliding around.
Keep them in hand so they're not falling
down in areas are hard to retrieve.
Makes it the job a lot easier. They're
high visibility colors so they're easy
to see. Another one here is a tool
hanging system that they have that if
you like to organize your tools or at
least your most commonly used ones above
your workbench or perhaps a home tool
kit, this is a great solution for that.
If we move over into tool boxes, rolling
tool boxes, standup mechanics tool
boxes, which are becoming very, very
popular. Let's look over here. So, what
we have right here are liners that are
different sizes that can be cut to fit
that protect the tools and the drawer
itself, uh, and allow the magnets to
grip through to keep the tools in place,
which are extremely important as you
open and close the drawers that things
don't shift around and get out of order.
So, this is a beautiful system here uh,
of a pair that goes with all of these
items right here. So, let's take a look.
Starting over. Oh, let's just start
right in here. Here we have modular
socket organizers. They come in three
different sizes, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 in.
These allow you to put your deep sockets
vertically and uh and to be able to
retrieve them beautifully. They also
feature their visible indicator that
shows when a socket is missing. And that
way you replace that socket and you know
whether it's out in the piece of
equipment but also organized for the
rest the next time you're going to go to
work. Now how you know what is in those
holders is they have these indicators
both in SAE as well as metric sizes. So
you at a glance can look to grab the
right socket for the task at hand. The
next thing to look at right here is
these type of screwdriver organizers.
Now, when we say screwdriver, we don't
necessarily mean just Phillips or
straight blade, but any type of tool
that uses a screwdriver type handle,
whether it's a Torx driver, a ball end
driver, uh an Allen wrench driver, that
sort of thing. All of these uh also tie
together in whatever way you want to
organize them. And again, you can see
the missing tool indicator featured
there on the packaging. So, if a tool is
missing out of the toolbox, you're going
to see right away to find it, put it
back where it's ready to go to work next
time. Oh, by the way, one more thing.
These socket organizers right here are
usable for both the deep sockets as well
as the normal shorter sockets. And they
offer different stem indicators here uh
in a shorter length here for both metric
and standard. So, you can adapt those
for either use, short or long or deep
sockets. Next up is the modular plier
system. These can be set up to use
regular narrow and wide pliers as well.
As long as you have the depth in the
drawer, uh, then you're going to end up
with, uh, these being arrayed in a very
nice fashion, easy to find, easy to
replace because again of the indicator
saying you have a missing tool if the
pliers is out of its area or out still
in the project that you were working on.
So, you can buy sets of those and build
those as many as you need. And something
else that they offer is this unit over
here that is wall mounted for your most
common ones. Magnetic. If you want to
keep that near a workspace and just keep
a certain set of pliers for the typical
type of work in that space, that's a
great solution for you as well. Now,
let's look over here. This is one of the
very, very popular ones. This is their
modular wrench series. And this allows
you to take open-end or boxend wrenches
and lay them in uh again nest them
array. A good trick and we'll show that
later on is to flip an ascending order
one way and a descending order the other
way. So they nest together very well and
maximize the use of the space in the in
the drawer itself. These also come with
missing tool indicators. And there are a
set of uh labels that go with these as
well, so you know what goes in that slot
immediately to put it back. But also,
when you need to grab a certain size
plier, there's no guesswork. You know
which one it is, and you can get to work
faster and more accurately. And when the
job's all done, it's time to clean up.
Toolbox Widget also offers knuckle
scrubber products for cleanup. These are
really hardworking tools in themselves
to get you clean and spiffy for your
indoor life. Well, so far we've been
very impressed with Toolbox Widget. We
think that over time this is going to be
a great investment and we'll certainly
come back and do [music] reviews after
it's been in use for a while. But check
out the playlist below that shows you
all the installations in the different
boxes that we have here and you can
check out the ones that interest you or
just let the whole thing play to see the
wide array of solutions that Toolbox
Widget offers. Now, Toolbox Widget is a
USbased company in Montana. It's
veteranowned and this is a great
opportunity if you live in the United
States to support the industrial and
business base of the country you live
