Ashley Moody Speaking at the Florida small Business Conference

I wanted to be here to say thank you for following your entrepreneurial spirit, for your work ethic, for your willing to dig in and be a part of Florida's success story. I want to do everything in my power still as your United States Senator to help accomplish that. We are already trying to figure out ways to do that in Washington. You might have heard of this small little thing we just pushed out of D.C. called the BBB, not the Better Business Bureau, the big beautiful bill. And buried in that are all of these things that are meant to help supercharge our already great economy, but certainly to help small businesses. Making sure we were making tax cuts permanent, making sure that your employees that were part of your success were benefiting from that with no tax on tips, no tax on hourly overtime, making sure we're clearing out some burdensome IRS regulations to make it easier to do business, less onerous. All of these things were top of mind for us as we were coming up with policies that would help deliver for those that wanted to be a part of this American dream, the Florida dream, I would say, because we're doing it better than most.
