This latest release [music] of Parallels
Raz introduces exciting new features and
enhancements designed to elevate the
admin and [music] end user experience to
deliver greater flexibility and value.
Let's look at some of the top new
features.
First up is fine grained clipboard
[music] control. Here you can manage
what a user can copy and paste from a
remote session [music] to the local
machine and from their local machine
into their remote session.
>> [music]
>> Next, we've enhanced user feedback
during disconnections.
If a user gets disconnected, [music]
they'll now see a clear message that
reconnection is in progress and their
desktop will gray out until the session
is restored.
We've added [music] support for FSLogix
version 25.06.
That means full compatibility and
[music] peace of mind for customers
running the latest FSLogix build.
>> [music]
>> We've also introduced support for the
Windows app to launch Azure virtual
desktop sessions. This lets customers
switch from the soontobe deprecated AVD
[music] client set to retire in March
2026 and move to the Windows app today.
Configurable via policy.
In version 21, you can now pass the
client's public [music] IP address
through to Raz to be used by Radius
server. This is accessed using themes in
the admin console. You go into the
theme, choose client [music] public IP
detection and you can either use the
parallel service which is available to
you there with a test button or you can
use your own custom service. The public
IP of the client is then passed through
to Raz. So the Radius server can make
use of it. [music] To make use of this,
go into connection multiffactor
authentication and look at your radius
settings. [music]
Inside those radius settings, you can
see attributes. One of these attributes
allows you to assign a client public
[music] IP and knowing this allows the
radius server to make decisions
within Radius. [music] We've also added
conditional automation. You can now
create multiple user conditions, apply
specific automation settings [music] to
each and set priority order. RAZ
processes these in sequence. The first
match applies, making it easier to
manage complex multi-user radius
configurations. [music]
We've significantly improved secure
gateway performance, especially for
those using the user portal. NodeJS has
been upgraded [music] to support
multi-threading. Previously, it was
singlethreaded, meaning one CPU [music]
core handled all requests. Now,
workloads are distributed across
multiple cores, improving efficiency and
scalability. For larger organizations,
that means [music] supporting more users
per gateway and fewer gateways needed
overall.
These are just a few of the new features
in Parallels Raz version 21, [music] but
there are many more to explore.
