Oh Ollie, I just brushed you this morning. Noah and Ollie, they're like a couple of teenage kids. Don't be a pest, Noah. Noah's signature way of trying to get his attention is either he will nip at the feet, pull his tail, or jump on his back. Noah, get down! And then Ollie, he'll shake his head and be like, no dude, you're not gonna do this. Time for breakfast. Spend five minutes with him and it's like a comedy show. Noah's doing it too. Noah, don't pick. Ollie, don't pick back. I wasn't sure how Ollie would react to Noah. Ollie came to us first. We were not planning on having a horse at this time, but our local pastor pulled into the driveway toting a horse trailer and asked us if we could do him a favor. He couldn't keep Ollie on his property because he had a mare and Ollie is a stallion. And we said sure and we took him down to the barn. Hi, good morning handsome. He's never been with other horses other than doing competitions. He loved being around me, but he was very disconnected, seemed a little bit depressed. Then our pastor contacted us again because he found a donkey that somebody didn't want and asked us if we would take it in. And I was a little hesitant at first just because I didn't know if it'd be a good thing, but I knew he needed something. You're okay. When we let the donkey out and they just chased each other around running and playing, Ollie was kind of showing off. We were like, oh my god, what are you guys doing? Hi Ollie. But I discovered the next morning that Noah was in the first stall with Ollie. They just hit it off. What are you doing kid? Noah is the leader. He's a very mischievous donkey. Hi, see you later. Go get Ollie. Don't worry, you're not being left out. And then Ollie, he's just like the chillest stallion that they've ever seen. And it's hilarious to watch. Thank you, sir. I see you, Noah. Even though they're different species of equines, they're very much the same. It fills my heart to see them just enjoying each other so much because they have a happy life.
