I really enjoyed the video! That said, I have to say I completely disagree with some of the points you made. I feel like home is a place where you should feel comfortable being yourself. You don’t always have to look “perfect.” Home is where imperfection is allowed, and that’s okay. If anyone watching this video feels pressured to always appear a certain way, I hope they remember that. Also, I don’t think a person’s confidence should be tied to their clothes or nails. If that makes you happy, that’s wonderful! But honestly, not everyone feels the same way. Great video as always, Jashan!
Every day I have two options. I can either look like this or spend just 10 extra minutes in the
morning and look like this. See you have to understand looking good every day doesn't mean
expensive outfits or full glam. It's just about tiny tweaks that make you feel more polished and
confident even if you are just at home or working from your couch. So today I'm breaking down small
habits that seriously level up how you look and feel from clothing and jewelry to hygiene and a
few optional self-care upgrades. So let's start with what I'm good at clothing. Let me tell you I
used to dread when someone rang the doorbell because I look tired and honestly just bad when
I was home. I used to run to change clothes and put on a bra or just yell at my husband if he was
home to answer the doorbell. Then I realized I just need to be more intentional about what I wear
even at home and let me show you how you can easily fix this problem. First switch out those
oversized baggy t-shirts for fitted ones. Trust me they are equally comfortable and if you can find
ones that have a built-in bra even better. You just have to put it on like a normal t-shirt.
That way you don't have to run to your room to find a bra when someone's knocking at the door.
Trust me this will change your life. I use these fitted tops from OGL. I mean the brand is known
for their tops with built-in bras and no this video is not sponsored by OGL. I just love them
so much. They are high quality but if these are too expensive for your budget you can always go
on Amazon. You'll find a ton of options. This way you don't have to spend any extra time getting
ready in the morning but at the same time they give you shape are super flattering and make you
feel effortlessly put together without even trying. Next let's talk bottoms. If you are still wearing
joggers with elastic bands at the ankles try switching it to a straight leg fit instead for
a more polished and put together look. Something like these cargo sweatpants. They are relaxed but
still structured or just get those basic ones from Costco. I got these from Glomode. You can see the
difference in before and after. Perfect fit and size. I also have quite a few from Halara. They
make these pants that look like denim but in reality they are yoga pants. So comfy. You can
throw on sneakers and slides and it will instantly look like you put in effort. So these are the only
two changes that I made. The difference in before and after is like day and night. I mean you can see
it for yourself. Next up jewelry. This is something that people really underestimate. Jewelry can
instantly elevate your outfit. This is one way that you can add your own twist and personality
to your overall fit. If it's in your budget invest in gold vermeil or solid gold pieces. Something
that you can wear every day without having to take it on and off. It doesn't have to be fancy.
Even simple hoops, a chain, ring or two can make you look instantly more polished. Which brings me
to the sponsor of today's video, Linear. You guys already know how much I love their pieces. I live
in their Meredith hoops and this 14k gold chain almost every single day. I even took them with
me on our Banff Jasper trip because they literally go with everything. I love that all their pieces
are so subtle but elegant and this chain is solid gold so I can wear it all the time. And since I've
been slowly building my capsule jewelry collection, I added two new pieces this month. The first one
is their diamond pavé band. It's called Miriam. It's a half eternity ring featuring seven sparkling
handset lab-grown diamonds on a 14k solid yellow gold band. So it actually will last me forever and
doesn't tarnish after a few years which is such a relief. I also picked up their London blue topaz
ring. It's such a statement but still delicate. It has four organic hand-cut London blue topaz
stones. Each one slightly different which I love because it feels so personal and unique. And these
blue tones are stunning. The craftsmanship is beautiful. Now this one is not solid gold. It's
gold vermeil and I highly suggest if solid gold is out of your budget, then you invest in gold
vermeil which means it's made with recycled silver and plated in thick layer of real 14k gold. Five
times thicker than regular gold plated jewelry which is so much better than buying those fake
pieces that will tarnish in just a few days. I used to spend hundreds on fake pieces that didn't
last. They tarnish. Now I'm slowly building a collection of real gold even if it's one piece
at a time. I keep my tiny capsule collection right on my dresser so it's always visible
and easy to reach. Keep in mind when your jewelry is accessible, you are so much more likely to wear
it and it makes getting dressed every morning so much easier. And everything right now fits perfectly
in my linear travel case. And knowing Linear uses recycled gold, natural gemstones, and ethically
sourced materials makes me love the brand even more. No doubt looking good every day feels even
better when it's done sustainably. So if you are looking to invest in pieces you'll actually wear
every day. Pieces that make you look more put together and doesn't lose their shine after a
month, I can't recommend Linear enough. You can check them out using the link in my description
box and don't walk, run because they have huge anniversary sale going on right now. And on top
of that, you can use my code for a special discount. I think this is such a steal. One sure
short way to look put together every day is to meal prep your outfits. Yes, not food but outfits.
I started doing this last year and it's a game changer. Just like you meal prep your food, on a
hang your outfits separately for the week. I use this cheap clothing rack I got for $30
off Amazon and it saves so much time in the morning. By doing this, I promise you, you'll
never have those I have nothing to wear moments. For the sake of this video, I'm keeping it short
but do let me know if you want me to make this into a series where in part one we can discuss
clothing, part two will be hygiene, skincare, and so on. In each video, I'll explain in detail what
I do to look good every single day. Okay, now let's talk hygiene because looking good every day
starts here. First, I don't think I need to say this but please shower every single day but instead
of making it a mindless routine, treat it like a reset. I actually block out additional 15 minutes
every single day after my shower for what I call self-care time. For example, Tuesday evenings
after my shower, I do my brows. Thursdays and Sundays, I do a hair mask and this whole blow-dry
my hair routine after washing them. Fridays are my deep care days. I shave almost my entire body and
then do at-home laser routine. It's these small consistent things that make you feel cleaner,
more confident, and just overall better. Also, I forgot to mention, take care of your natural hair.
Oil it, use mask, keep it healthy. Healthy hair changes your whole vibe and spend some time
figuring out a styling technique that works for you. And when it comes to skincare, keep it simple
but do it every single day. You don't need a 10-step routine. Cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen in
the morning. Cleanser, serum, or active, and moisturizer at night. That's it. That's your
foundation. All you have to do is just be consistent. Oh, and one more thing. Figure out your signature
everyday scent. It doesn't have to be expensive. It could be a light perfume, body mist, or even a
scented lotion. But having that consistent scent gives such a polished impression. For me, I like
to switch it up. So, I use Scentbird subscription. And right now, my favorite is Post Mystico but I
think you get the idea. Just figure out your everyday signature scent and stick to it. Now, let's talk
makeup. You don't need to wear a full face every day but it does help to have a minimal everyday
makeup routine that you can do in under 10 minutes. Something that makes you feel good. Think tinted
moisturizer, a tinted sunscreen, or a CC cream, a cream blush, mascara, and a lip tint. And what really
helped me be consistent with my everyday makeup is to keep a separate kit with all my go-to
everyday products. That way, I don't have to dig through drawers every morning. It's there, ready
to go. When you make your routine simple and accessible, you are more likely to actually stick
to it. Next, very important but move your body and eat healthy. Not because you have to but because
your body deserves to feel strong. Even if it's 20 minutes, a walk, a stretch, quick workout at home,
just move. You are not doing it to shrink yourself. Always remember, you are not doing it for the
aesthetics. You are doing it to wake yourself up. There's this quiet kind of confidence that comes
when you keep promises to yourself. When you show up even when no one's watching. And I know life
gets busy. Work, family, kids, everything. But think about this. You take care of everyone else. You handle
a million things in a day. Don't you deserve to feel good in your own skin? I think when you move
your body, you remember how powerful you are. When you take care of yourself, your skin, your hair,
your clothes, you remind yourself that you matter. It's not about perfection. It's about presence.
It's about that moment when you look in the mirror and you think, I feel like me again. So, if you
have been putting yourself last lately, this is your sign to start showing up for yourself. Not for
the world, not for anyone else's approval, for you. Because when you feel good, you look good. And when
you look good, you move through life differently. Head up, heart open, unbothered. Trust me, the shift
that you will experience after you start taking care of your body from inside, after you start
exercising, after you start eating healthy, it's mind-blowing. I know 100% for those of you who
already exercise or, you know, do workouts four times a week, five times a week, you know what I'm
talking about. Okay, now a few optional things that make a huge difference, at least for me. First, nails.
Maintaining your nails, even if it's just keeping them clean, short and polished, completely elevates
your look. I personally love using press-ons or getting them done professionally. But that's
because I need to for shooting videos. You don't need to spend hundreds of dollars. Do what's best
for you. That's why I say it's optional. And if you are getting them done professionally, give them
breaks in between. When your nails look neat, you just feel more confident. That's what I believe.
Holding your coffee up or typing at your desk, that is a whole new feeling. It makes you feel
more confident. But again, like I mentioned, this is totally optional. If it's in your budget, get them
done professionally. If not, invest in good high-quality press-on nails. If not, just keep them
short and clean. Second optional upgrade, facials. If your budget allows, try getting facials done
every few months. But not just any facial. Get something customized for your skin type. I recently
got one tailored for PCOS and hormonal acne. And oh my god, it was just $70. But even if it was $200,
I would have spent that amount because my skin feels so good. I slept on this for the longest
time. But once I started, I realized how much of a difference it makes. Your skin texture improves,
makeup goes on better, and you just look refreshed. And I totally get it. If you can't afford them
regularly, save a little each month and get one for your birthday or every three months. Whatever
works. So yeah, looking good every day isn't about perfection. It's about consistency. And I don't
want to hear, I'll do this when I lose some weight or once my kids are old enough. Please, I don't want
to hear those excuses. You don't have to do it all alone. If you have to ask your husband or your
family members to help you with household chores or with the kids. See, I don't have kids, so I don't
know what it feels like to have kids. But if you need help, please speak up. There are 100 excuses,
but you just have to show up for yourself. Work out when your kids are sleeping. If you're in
charge of food, meal prep on Sundays. And if someone wants fresh food every single day, it's their
responsibility. They can make it themselves. I have seen my mother, my grandmother, my mother-in-law
keep quiet and put everyone else first. They don't accept it, but it has only given them arthritis,
obesity, and a lifetime of feeling like their needs didn't matter. So much so that this is now
their reality. They don't even know what they want in life. And no disrespect to them, I love them
so much. They have done so much for us and for our family. But being a woman, we often
ignore ourselves. Please don't do that. Life will go by so fast. And before you realize it,
it will be too late. These are just little things that you can do for yourself, like choosing fitted
loungewear, maintaining your hygiene, wearing simple jewelry, or doing your brows once a week.
That adds up. It will give you confidence. I just don't have words. I don't know how else
I can explain. You will feel more confident, more capable, and honestly just happier. So next time
you are home all day or heading to work, do at least one of those things. Start small. Maybe
next week, do two from the list, then three. It starts with showing up for yourself every day.
Okay, this video started someplace else and now it's, you know, all over the place. But I hope
I'm making sense. Please know taking care of yourself isn't selfish. It's what keeps you
happy. And if you're happy, others around you will be happy. And I hope that it helps
just one girl out there. Yeah, if you find this video helpful, please don't forget to like,
share, and subscribe. I really appreciate all your love and support. I'll see you guys in my next one.
Bye.
