7 Streams of Income From Scratch That Pay Me Money Every Month

Hey guys, on this quick video I'm going to talk about my 7 income streams that I was able to build from nothing, build from scratch. This video is to help you guys realize your potential in terms of making additional money on the side with a side gig or a side hustle. I want to hopefully encourage and inspire you guys to say that if he can do that, then I can do that too. So maybe you can take one of the things that I do or even two or three or four of these and do them for yourself so you can make some additional money on the side as well. So let's jump right into it guys. The very first way that I make additional money that I started from scratch is doing one-on-one coaching sessions with individuals looking to be better with their money, to manage their money better or to grow their money. I do one-on-one coaching and mentoring sessions with folks on a regular basis to help. Now how did I get going doing one-on-one coaching sessions? Well guys, I started several years ago looking at my money situation and what I was doing with money. And that's when I said, you know, everything I do guys is about building money and building wealth and accumulating money and saving and investing. So I said, you know what, how can I help other people do what I've done come from nothing or a negative $30,000 net worth to at that time, a close to seven figure net worth. Guys, I said, let me help other people. Let me offer my services to other people. And so I said, what is a good way to do that? Well, I can work with people one-on-one and become sort of a mentor or coach to people in terms of personal finances. So I began helping people. I began looking for a way to give back to other people and doing one-on-one coaching was a good way to do it. Now I use the platform called Teachable and I'll put a link to Teachable in the description box below. But Teachable is a platform where you can offer courses, you can offer coaching, and it's a very, very easy to use platform. So for you, if you do anything well, better than most people, or maybe you have a specific skill that you have that a lot of people don't have and would like to have, maybe you can offer some courses or you can offer some coaching and you could put it on a platform like Teachable. Now there's other platforms as well. I just happen to like Teachable and I'm in Teachable's affiliate program as well. So if you click the link, you can sign up, I get a small portion of it, but whatever you do well, you can teach other people to do it or whatever you like to do or have a passion to do, you can share that experience through courses or coaching with someone else. And it's a way that you can give back and help others. Now my second income stream is real estate. Now I bought my first piece of rental property back in 2000. I had a real estate agent who was helping me find properties and he said, well, I have a property of my own I can sell to you and I can own or finance it for you. And so for $10,000, he sold me a two bedroom, one bath property in a not so great part of town. But since then, I've been in the real estate game. To this day, I still own a few rental properties and that's a second source of income. And that's how I get a monthly payment every single month from tenants and the properties appreciate in value as well. So rental property is another income stream that I was able to start with nothing from zero. Now my third income stream is voiceovers. About 12 or 13 years ago, I started doing voiceovers for my church. I really enjoyed it, really liked it. So about 2019, I said, how can I start doing this on my own? So I started learning as much as possible on YouTube about doing voiceovers. I also joined a few voiceover communities, started communicating with people, listening to podcasts and understanding and learning. I even got some coaching, bought some equipment, and I've been doing voiceovers for the last four years. As far as getting work, I started with a low hanging fruit, ACX.com, which is a website where people that write books on Amazon, they go over to ACX to find people to actually voice the audio books. And so ACX.com is a great place to start if you're brand new, you can just do audio books for people. And that's what I did to get started doing voiceovers for money. Now I get a lot of my voiceover work on a website called Fiverr.com and I'll drop that link below as well. But Fiverr is a place where I advertise that I do voiceovers for a certain fee and people come to me all the time and ask me to do voiceovers based on the samples and examples that I put on Fiverr for people to see and listen to. So it's a whole science behind it, but it's one of my streams of income that I really, really enjoy. And I'm going to put a video in the description box below so you guys can check out more details about how I got started in voiceovers. Now my fourth stream of income is eBay. Now guys, I started doing eBay back in 2013 and one of the main reasons was because I didn't have money saved up for my daughter to go to college. And so I started doing eBay and putting lots of things online. I started with things around my house and again, I had to learn everything because I'm starting from scratch. But I told myself, you know, I don't want to go work another part-time job for somebody. How can I make my own money around my house doing something that I want to do? So I said, Amazon or eBay, Amazon or eBay. Back then, eBay was just as big as Amazon. But after doing a little bit of Amazon back in 2013 and then going and doing a little bit of eBay, I chose eBay and I stuck with eBay. And over the next seven years on eBay, I sold over $120,000 of merchandise on eBay. Now most of that was shoes. So to this day, that's still a source of income. I don't do a lot on eBay anymore, but I still have nearly 90 things listed on eBay. And so several times a month, those things will sell and they're just another source of income where I get money from. So for you, if you're looking for a quick way to make some money, buy low, sell high on a platform like eBay. Back then in 2013, it was primarily Amazon or eBay. But now there's a lot of different places where you can actually sell merchandise and you can start with the items that you have around your own home. Now my fifth source of income is through digital products. I sell digital products on my website at smartmoneybro.com. So digital downloads are a great way to make some extra money. A digital download is anything that you can transmit electronically. Whether it's music, whether it's video, whether it's photography, whether it's a cheat sheet or some instructions or some recipes, whatever you can upload and send to somebody through an email, that's a digital product. You can make a digital product about almost anything. If you have some expertise in something or you have a skill set that other people are interested in knowing about, or if you have anything that you can sell like music, or if you have anything that you can put in an MP3 format or MP4 format and sell, then you have the possibility of having a digital product. Now I don't sell a whole ton of digital products every single month, but I do sell a few and it's a very nice income stream because you really only make the product one time and you can create something on Microsoft Publisher or Canva.com and then you sell it an unlimited amount of time. You can make one digital product into a PDF and you can sell that PDF a thousand, ten thousand, ten million times to anybody in the world. And a digital product can simply be an e-book that you write. You can write a ten page e-book and sell it. You can write a five page e-book or you can write a one hundred page book and sell it. That becomes a digital product. So digital products is a wonderful source of income. Now that leads me to number six. Number six is books. I've written two books that are on Amazon right now. One's about real estate and the other one is about how to buy a good used car cash. Now those two books, when they sell on Amazon, I get royalty income. Now the book about the cars, guys, let me explain that one. A couple of years ago, my niece asked me to help her and her husband find a car. She knows that I buy all my cars cash and so she knows that I know what to look for when buying a car. So I started looking on the internet, guys, about how to buy a good used car. There was not very much out there. So guess what? I wrote an 80 page book about how to buy a good used car cash with more than 70 tips for just the normal average everyday person who doesn't know a whole lot about cars explaining what you should be looking for when you're going out and buying a car. And I put it on Amazon and it sells and when it sells, I get royalty income from it. So guys, if you have an expertise or if you have something that you do that you like, do a small book. Like I said, guys, it could be five pages long, it could be 10 pages. It doesn't have to be a long 80, 90, 200 page book. Just something that explains what you want to explain. Now my seventh stream of income is YouTube. Guys, only a couple of months ago, I got monetized on YouTube, meaning now I get a share of ad revenue that runs on my videos. So I joined the YouTube Partner Program. Now that has become the seventh stream of income that I started from scratch. I just started making YouTube videos about money and about money management and about investing in real estate, investing in the stock market. So this channel has now become an income stream for me. Guys, if you want to start a YouTube channel, punch fear in the face, figure out what you want to talk about and who your target audience is and just go for it. Nowadays, you can start taping videos on your cell phone, uploading them and then putting them on YouTube. Now there is some limitations in terms of YouTube's Partner Program. You have to have a certain amount of hours watched and a certain amount of subscribers. Now that may change in the future, but for now, that's still a part of how you become monetized on YouTube. But it's a great stream of income. You make videos about what you like or what you love or what you enjoy or a target audience that you're trying to reach. And then ultimately, once you keep doing that, now it's not easy, it's a science to it, right? But once you get proficient and better and better, you can monetize YouTube also.
