God is great and greatly to be praised. Lift your heart in prayer and declare His goodness over your life today.
In this video, Psalm 145 Prayer — Declaring the Greatness of God, you’ll be guided through a beautiful prayer inspired by one of the most powerful psalms of praise. Psalm 145 reminds us of God’s unfailing love, His mighty works, His compassion, and His faithfulness to all who call on Him.
The Bible says, “Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom” (Psalm 145 verse 3). As you pray along, let your heart be filled with gratitude, awe, and renewed confidence in the God who is gracious, righteous, and near to those who seek Him.

Mighty God, I come before you today with a heart overflowing with gratitude.
You are the God who hears prayer, the God who answers, the God who satisfies.
You crown the year with your goodness and your paths drip with abundance.
Even in seasons of dryness, you send rain. Even in seasons of waiting, you prepare the harvest.
Lord, thank you for being faithful, not just when I deserved it, but even when I didn't.
Thank you for your kindness, your patience, and your unending mercy.
You have carried me, provided for me, forgiven me,
rescued me, strengthened me, and surrounded me with your love.
Today, as I meditate on Psalm 65, help me to see just how good you have been.
Help me to recognize your blessings, both big and small,
the ones I can see and the ones that were working behind the scenes.
Father, I offer you thanksgiving because you are worthy of all praise.
Praise waits for you, O God. You who hear prayer, to you all flesh will come.
Lord, before I ask for anything, I thank you for everything.
You are the God who hears every prayer, the silent ones, the desperate ones, the whispered ones.
Not one tear, not one request, not one sigh has gone unnoticed.
I declare, you hear me when I pray. You listen when I call. You are close to me always.
Father, thank you for every answered prayer, the ones you granted immediately,
and the ones you answered in your wisdom and timing.
Thank you for saying, yes, not yet, and even, I have something better.
Today, I praise you because you are a God who hears and responds.
Verse three, when iniquities prevailed against me, you forgave our transgressions.
Lord, there were times when guilt overwhelmed me, times when my mistakes felt too heavy,
but in your mercy, you forgave me. You washed me, cleansed me, and renewed me.
I declare, I am forgiven. I am redeemed. I am free from shame and condemnation.
Father, thank you for your grace, not a cheap grace, but a costly one bought by the blood of
Jesus. Thank you for loving me even when I fell short. Thank you for restoring me when I wandered.
Thank you for covering me in mercy day after day.
Verse four, blessed is the one you choose and bring near to dwell in your courts.
Father, thank you that you have chosen me to draw near to you. You invite me into your presence,
and you welcome me with open arms. In your presence, I find peace. In your presence,
I find fullness of joy. I declare, I am chosen. I am called, and I am welcome in the presence of
God. Lord, draw me closer still. Let prayer become my resting place, and your presence become my
home. Fill me with a deeper hunger to know you, to walk with you, and to worship you each day.
Verse five, you answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior. Father,
thank you for every miracle, the seen and unseen. Thank you for every healing, every provision,
every bit of strength you have poured into me. You have done awesome things in my life,
and I give you glory. I declare God is my Savior. He does wonders in my life.
My story is full of his miracles. Lord, give me eyes to see your wonders,
even in ordinary moments. Help me remember that nothing is too hard for you,
nothing beyond your reach. Verse six to eight, you formed the mountains,
you quiet the roaring seas. Those who dwell in distant places stand in awe of your wonders.
Father, your power is unmatched. You calm storms with a whisper. You hold the earth together with
your word. You bring peace where chaos tries to rule. I declare you calm the storms in my life.
Your peace guards my heart and mind. Your presence stills every fear. Lord,
when life feels overwhelming, remind me that you are bigger. When I face uncertainty, remind me
that you are unshakable. Let me stand in awe of your greatness every single day. Verse nine to
ten, you visit the earth and water it. You bless its growth. You soften it with showers. You crown
the year with your goodness. Father, you are the God of increase. You water the dry places.
You soften the hard places. You restore what seems lost. You cause things to grow that I thought
were dead. I declare God is crowning my year with his goodness. My life is surrounded by abundance.
Every dry place will flourish again. Lord, thank you for the blessings seen and unseen.
Thank you for open doors, divine connections, new opportunities, renewed strength, and restored joy.
Thank you for surprising me with your goodness. Verse 11 to 12, your paths drip with abundance.
The pastures overflow. The hills rejoice on every side. Father, your abundance is not just financial.
It is peace, joy, strength, healing, wisdom, and purpose. Your paths overflow with goodness.
Wherever you lead, abundance follows. I declare my life is overflowing with God's goodness.
Joy is my portion. Peace is my portion. Strength is my portion. Overflow is my portion.
Lord, thank you for the abundance that flows not from my effort but from your grace. Thank you for
surrounding me with blessings even when I didn't see them at first. Verse 13, the valleys shout for
joy. They sing. Father, even the lowest places in my life can become places of praise. You turn sorrow
into joy. You turn mourning into dancing. You turn burden into blessing. I declare every valley in my
life will become a testimony. My story will sing of God's goodness. My life will shout for joy again.
Lord, fill my heart with thanksgiving, not just for what you've done but for who you are.
Let gratitude overflow from me and touch everyone around me. Father, thank you for Psalm 65,
a reminder that you are the God of abundance, the God of answered prayer, the God of restoration,
and the God of overflowing goodness. You crown the year with your blessings. Your presence waters
every dry place. Your mercy covers every weakness. Your abundance surrounds every step I take.
Today, I choose gratitude. I choose thanksgiving. I choose praise because you have been good,
you are good, and you will always be good. And I declare by faith my life is overflowing with the
abundance of God. My year is crowned with his goodness and joy will rise again. In Jesus' mighty
name, amen.
