When I was only two years old, I had open heart surgery.
I was clinically dead for 47 minutes.
That's when I believe I got the gift of St. Laura's.
We were at the grocery store and we bumped into this man
and I said, oh, he's really, really sick.
What color was he?
Purple.
When I see someone's purple, he's sick.
And that was on a Tuesday and that Thursday
he passed away from a heart attack.
Is she schizophrenic?
You know, you don't know.
You don't want to talk to anyone about it
because, I mean, if it sounds crazy to me,
it's going to sound really crazy to other people.
Allie tells me she sees auras and I'm thinking,
OK, she's seeing things.
She's hearing things.
It's like you just don't know what to do.
We've kept it very secret and very private.
We're just feeling a lot of frustration
with the isolation of having this gift
and the backlash, the having people,
after you tell them they don't believe you
and they make fun of you.
It hurts when people don't believe me or,
I mean, it'd be easier if they at least tried to believe me.
I've been made fun of plenty of times.
When people around me have really negative energy,
it makes me have really bad headaches
and it makes me kind of feel mad too and frustrated.
No doctor has been able to give me a diagnosis
of why she gets these migraines.
It's been quite a struggle at times
and it's been quite a challenge at times.
I don't want her to know how much she shakes my world.
What I'd like you to do is take your hands
and just start to feel her energy
and let me know as to what you're feeling.

I've had bronchitis and I've had a lot of asthma
and then this leg right here has been giving out on me.

I actually, I just got a call today
that my dog who was in surgery made 100% recovery.
So I'm ecstatic today.
