So today, in the So Yummy Kitchen, I welcomed Lyric.
I'm ready.
I set a really creative challenge.
Oh my gosh.
Making the most amazing milkshake for his mom.
What do you think they used to make Friars?
I think what they put in the ice cream is lots of milk.
The minute I met Lyric today, I knew
I was in for a really fun day.
So I know you love your mom a lot.
Yeah.
We should make your mom a wholly original milkshake
using Friars natural vanilla ice cream.
Original by Lyric.
I think it's a triple cow good idea.
You could draw the most amazing cool milkshake
you can think of, and then we'll turn that drawing
into a real milkshake.
Yeah, the blueprint.
The blueprint.
What my mom always calls it.
When Lyric was drawing his picture,
it was sort of all over the place when it came to flavors.
Definitely oranges.
Cotton candy.
Oh.
Also apples.
So this is apple?
Or this might be cherry.
Does your mom like cherries?
Yeah.
Yeah, what else does your mom like?
Ice cream.
And it's finished.
Wow, I'm loving this fruity shake.
Let's take this drawing, and let's go find
all the ingredients we need.
Let's do this.
All right, Lyric, I'm going to show you something so cool.
What?
This is so amazing.
Popcorn, gumballs, whatever those are.
There are no rules.
You get to pick whatever you want.
All?
And what do you want to grab from over here?
Marshmallows.
There you go.
Some cotton candy.
That's right.
Oh, mint sandwich cookies.
Wait, I need one more.
Rainbow card candies.
One, two, three, open it up.
Cherries, oranges, every fruit.
What else do we need for a milkshake?
Milk.
Look, grade A milk, just like what's used to make briars.
Pretty sure a milkshake needs one
other thing other than milk.
Oh, vanilla bean ice cream.
Right?
Give it a look.
Oh my gosh.
Chocolate, more chocolate, more rocky road, and also,
look at it all, natural vanilla.
This is so epic.
Yep, I got room.
Let's go.
You wrapped a lot of stuff, huh?
Yep.
All right, Larrick, I'm going to get us a glass, and it's huge.
Are you ready for it?
I'm ready.
What do you think?
That looks just like the one in the pizzer.
Right?
Maybe we can dip the top of it in chocolate.
Oh, yeah.
Here we go.
Check it out.
Oh, man.
You, sir, are going to dip it in the rainbow hard candies.
Got it.
Nice work.
Look at that.
Oh, yeah.
One drop on my finger.
Next, why don't we juice some of those oranges you grabbed?
Because it's kind of going to give it
that orange creamsicle flavor.
You're going to pop it right on top,
and then you're going to push down,
and you're going to spin it.
Wow.
Look at these arm muscles go.
I got it.
I'm going to take some ice cream out of the freezer.
The vanilla bean.
The vanilla bean specks.
Grab nice big scoops.
Nobody wants to get a little bit of ice cream.
Everybody wants like a whole house full of ice cream.
No one.
Wow, that's big.
Oh, wow.
Definitely a lot.
Definitely.
Let's do the gray day milk.
You kind of look like a happy cow in your apron
because it's white and black.
I look like a happy cow.
You look like a happy cow.
3, 2, 1, go.
Wow, that looks so good.
Yep.
Yeah?
Can I press the button?
Whoa.
I can't stop doing this.
I can't hear things.
I couldn't stop doing that.
What else do we need?
That glass that we made earlier.
Whoa.
It's thick.
Not bad.
I want to like get my finger in it and like.
What are you grabbing?
Cotton candy.
We do need some of this.
Lyric's milkshake kind of defied the laws of gravity.
Ooh, good stuff.
It just kept growing and growing and growing.
Can we draw a happy face on it?
Oh, that's coming together nicely.
So cute.
I love it.
Beautiful.
So to take that blueprint element from Lyric's drawing,
I had my So Yummy team create a blueprint to hide
this milkshake with for his mom.
Are you ready to call your mom in here?
Hey, mom.
Hey, mom, come over.
Hey.
Wow.
1, 2, 3, pull.
Oh, my goodness.
This is phenomenal.
You made this?
Yeah.
When his mom came in and saw this milkshake,
her whole face just lit up.
We put some Briar's Natural Vanilla
ice cream in it, which is awesome.
You also see the happy face in front.
Mint chocolate chip cookies.
I love that.
To get that reward at the end of it from her was pretty special.
Mm, that tastes like a creamsicle.
It's just the oranges.
I learned that briars use grade A milk
from cows all over America.
Wow.
Babe, I have to tell you, I am super proud of you.
You created a masterpiece.
Give me a hug, babe.
Ooh, that's a good milkshake.
