Tarp Camping in the Rain

An old smashed up truck there. Hey friends, Jordan here, West Coast Wild Campers. Thanks for tuning in to another episode. I'm just hiking into a lake right now. I've got some good food. I got my chair uh going here and my table and we'll get going on a fire and possibly a coffee or a tea. I didn't bring a tent. I'm just doing a tarp camp right on the water here. It's a beautiful spot. Took me a little bit longer than I'd like to admit to get this tarp up because I couldn't uh decide what kind of configuration I wanted. I put it up like in three different ways before I came to the conclusion of this one but that's the beauty of camping is you can't go wrong right as long as you get it set up. I had fun. I was gonna do like just a simple little but then I went lengthwise and it's a beauty spot. I got lots of space here. It's nice and flat. Good good coverage. This is a big tarp. This is a 10 by 12 AquaQuest. Really good. Really nice. Really cozy spot. I've got a big coal bank behind me. I've got a stump there. I've got stumps here. It's really well protected. I really like this spot. This is beauty. I'll get a fire going right down there and probably some of the heat will come this way. It'll be really nice. I didn't bring a stove so I'm gonna be doing all my cooking on the fire. Thanks for tuning in folks. It's been a busy one but I've been getting out as much as I can. I love camping. Watch whatever you want to watch. I'm getting more comfortable uh talking to the camera so I'll probably ramble on from time to time. I'm gonna relax for a minute and fire going here. I'm gonna use a full cake this time for the first time. There's a bunch of dry sticks under the stump here that I'm collecting. Yeah I walked, I hiked in from just down there and I got a beauty little spot here. Got my chair there, my table, got my fire pit right there out looking the lake. I'm gonna sleep just under the tarp tonight. I found this log under a stump That's nice. Nothing like a warm drink on a cool night. Yeah there's uh people down the lake. They were just shooting off some fireworks. That was pretty cool. I didn't get to turn the camera on on time but by the time I got to the camera the fireworks were over. Yeah I'm just chilling under my tarp keeping warm. Got a new um wool fleece sweater here and uh yeah I got my rain gear off just hanging up in the back here. It's a really nice night. It's not really raining but I we're under a tree so we're getting lots of drips from the tree. I'm just hanging out relaxing. Watched a couple videos on my phone and gonna drink this tea and then I'm gonna get going on some dinner. I got a looking forward to it. Got some beans and chili and steak. Possibly mashed potatoes. Gonna be a gooder. Thanks for coming along folks. Lots of fog out. Total cloud over. Seven degrees right now. It's gonna get down to four overnight. It's um just after seven in the evening. It's not even that late but it got dark at like five o'clock four thirty. Just hung my food. I'm quite a ways away from my camp. I'll come back for it in the morning. Yeah I just walked down the beach quite a ways. Beautiful night. That's the water there. It's so clear you can't even really see it. Yeah we're just on a little hike back to my truck.
