We got some things.
I feel so relaxed.
Wow, wow, wow.
We secured the bag.
What?
I'm so excited, we're about to take the train to Tokyo.
Oh my God, those are really good.
Oh, yes.
It never gets old.
It really never gets old, wow.
Wow, wow, wow.
Okay, yesterday it was so cloudy,
you couldn't see the sun rising,
and now you can, and it's stunning.
Guys, it is currently 6.45.
It's officially packed.
That's crazy.
There's a school field trip here at 6.45.
Like, we never did stuff that early.
Okay, but wow.
That's crazy, it's so pretty.
I've been loving our morning excursions.
I know, we made it.
We made it.
The early bird does not get the worm here,
but that's okay, because we're still early birds.
No, it's crazy that it's literally 6.
We left really early.
Everything, everyone on TikTok's been like,
come early at like 6 a.m. because no one's here,
which yesterday was pretty empty.
There were still people,
but it was like a little more empty.
Today, there's still a lot of people.
But imagine it in like five hours.
This would be crazy.
The school field trip is so cute.
Me posing for a thumbnail.
This is truly so stunning.
Update, it's been a few hours.
I'm currently back on the balcony.
I feel like you can already tell from the reflection,
but the sun came out and the sky is blue and it's beautiful.
I feel so relaxed.
I don't wanna go.
Was doing some more journaling.
And then I packed up because like I said,
we leave tomorrow and I found this out,
which I didn't know it was a thing.
Obviously, it costs a little money,
but you can actually ship your luggage
from Tokyo to Kyoto or from Kyoto to Tokyo.
I'm sure other places too,
but I had no idea because I was thinking,
dang, the worst part of this trip
is gonna be me traveling with three suitcases on a train
because obviously there's not much room.
So I found that out.
The front desk was really awesome.
So as long as we have our suitcases to them by 2 p.m.,
it can be at the station when we arrive tomorrow,
which is so nice.
The only thing is they said to make sure
to like pack a carry-on with whatever we need tonight
and then tomorrow.
So that is...
Ash just got back, which is perfect.
She actually has a break.
They just did like a tea ceremony type thing,
which I wanna hear all about,
but she has a break till like 4.30.
So she wanted to hit up some stores in town,
which y'all know I love some shopping.
So how was it?
Good.
Tell me all about it.
You guys were not outside ever.
No, we were inside the whole time.
I know, because I peeked out a few times.
I was here a long time and then I peeked out a few times.
You did?
Yeah.
On the balcony?
Yeah.
Oh my God.
Oh, I was just saying how the sun came out,
so it makes sense it's way hotter.
I'm gonna go with this really light jacket.
It's from Evolve.
I never gave an outfit of earlier.
Dang it!
Top is Princess Polly.
Overskirt was Amazon.
Trousers were Jerf.
Ash, where are your trousers from?
Jerf.
Jerf Avenue.
And then shoes, Mesa Margiela,
which if we pass a store,
I would love to get some tabbies,
because I love those and they're so comfy.
And I'd like some black ones or brown ones.
But anyways, it's been kind of nice
not having makeup the past two days.
I really feel like the way my lips have healed,
the colors faded beautifully,
and I also feel like it makes me more confident
without makeup.
That's the tea.
I'm definitely breaking out a little bit,
but I almost did a facial today,
because I was like,
oh, I might as well enjoy the spa again,
but I was like, I did that yesterday,
and then I can always get a facial at home.
All right, we secured our luggage with the front desk,
so that's very exciting.
They also secured us our tickets for the train tomorrow,
which is also really exciting.
Angels.
And yeah, they said to come back at 6 p.m.
just to fully confirm all of that,
so we are headed to,
Ash really wants to go to Le Labo,
because we all know she loves her Le Labo.
Everywhere I go.
It's just also fun to,
if you're in the city that they have exclusive scents,
you know, you gotta go and smell it.
I know you have a Tokyo one.
I guess I should confirm first.
Obviously, we're not going there.
I'm not sure if there's a Kyoto one.
I always say Kyoto versus Kyoto.
The team said there is, but.
But this location does have a cafe,
and there's matcha there,
which our hotel has amazing matcha, as you've seen,
which I do want to get one later,
but if we go and it's not a long wait for it,
I would love to also get some matcha at Le Labo.
And then Ashley's looking for a present for Jackson.
I'm not gonna say what it is,
because I know he's not watching this,
but you never know.
And we're gonna look and see.
Even though he's not watching this.
I feel like I could vlog it,
and he wouldn't be still looking for it.
Well, actually, now that I think about it,
I did say, I don't know,
I'll vlog, but I'm like,
did I say it when we were shopping the other day?
Maybe.
Kyoto does have a scent.
Osmanthus 19.
Osmanthus.
I have to at least smell it.
And know if I have to have it or not.
Also, you can always get little tiny truffles.
I like the small ones, actually,
because I can throw them in my purse.
And then I use them more.
I have my citron one here from Seoul.
Oh, see, my DJ eye keeps flipping on in my bag.
My problem is I like vlogging quick
when I see something I wanna vlog.
So for it to be in a whole thing,
I'm like, it's too much work.
Do you know what I do?
I have this random little pouch that I put it in,
and this is nice.
When I have it in my bag,
I'll just leave it like this,
so I can grab it.
Oh, that's nice.
Like, this is so overheated right now.
All right, we got my ice matcha.
They were so sweet in there.
Wow, that's really good.
Not as good as the hotel one, but good.
I wasn't exaggerating.
Best matcha I've ever had at the hotel.
But, like, this hits really good, too.
Ceramics.
I will say this is oat milk,
and I think we had an almond?
We had almonds,
and it definitely had, like, a vanilla-y flavor to it.
Oh, yeah, no, there's some.
They put some crack in that.
Like, it tasted like vanilla ice cream matcha.
Yeah, I remember we were like, I said, yeah.
Cakey.
My duolingo coming in clutch right now.
I also got a matcha white chocolate cookie.
Do you see this?
Let's try her.
Oh.
Jump scare, we're currently back in LA,
but I wanted to give a shout out
because we have a sponsor.
In today's video, we have to give a huge shout out
to SeatGeek for sponsoring this vlog.
You guys know, if you're gonna be buying tickets anywhere
for concerts, shows, events,
SeatGeek is the place to do it.
There's 35 million downloads for SeatGeek,
and they are the number one ticketing app
in the app store.
I mentioned before,
but Lady Gaga ended up extending her tour,
and I'm so excited.
Now look, if you're not a Lady Gaga fan,
I'm slightly judging you,
but they also have Sabrina Carpenter,
John Legend, Jonas Brothers, Tame Impala,
like truly anyone you can think of,
whoever is touring is on SeatGeek.
Every single ticket is rated one out of 10.
So if you see green,
that means you're getting a good price.
And if you see red, I would stay away from those.
And every single ticket is backed by their buyer guarantee.
So of course, I have a little discount code for you guys.
Again, the holidays are coming up.
Perfect gift idea.
If you want to use Alicia 10 at checkout,
you can get 10% off your SeatGeek ticket.
Again, that's 10% off of your tickets with Alicia 10.
Obviously, link in the description box.
Huge shout out to SeatGeek for sponsoring.
Love you.
Let's fly back to Japan.
Backlit, but guess where we are back.
Wait, what?
Guess where we're back.
What?
Guess where we are?
Guess where we came back to.
Back where it all began.
We're back.
I don't know what I was trying to say.
Guess where we're back.
Why does that sound wrong?
I've had so much caffeine today.
Oh my God.
It's so good.
All right, guys.
I had the thought to order food.
Well, actually, I was going to go down to the restaurant
and enjoy that by myself.
And then I realized they're not open for another hour
and I didn't have lunch and I'm really hungry.
So I was going to order room service.
And then I was like, I don't know.
Like, I don't know.
I feel like I should like do something.
And then I remember there's a convenience store
across the street and we're in Japan.
So we got to do that.
It's crazy.
We're actually staying, our hotel is by a school.
So there's like a stationery section here,
which makes sense.
And I actually needed some glue
because I really wanted to scrapbook in my journal.
And then Ash was just talking about this little pencil case
and they have one almost identical to the one
that she had.
So I added that, got some tape and I also got a pen.
Wasn't expecting to get that here, but love it.
Okay, let's get some food.
Obviously.
All right, I was also wanting some sushi.
I don't know what kind, but I also want famichiki.
Okay, I don't know.
This looked good.
We got some things.
I got some fried chicken.
We got some chips, some gummies.
Oh, I've never even seen these.
They're just dried cherries.
And I could see me loving them or hating them,
but I could really see me loving them.
So we got that.
Yeah, I feel good.
This was supposed to just be a snack before dinner,
which it still might be.
We'll see.
I can always get a late dinner, but let's get it.
Ladies and gentlemen, we got snacks.
I'm very excited.
My first Japanese convenience store haul
slash trip of this trip.
I actually got a decent amount.
We got gummies.
We got stickers.
I thought that'd be cute for my journal.
Caramel corn and chicken chips.
It's like a sweet and sour moment.
The pencil pouch that is,
it's crazy cause it's like the exact same thing
I was just talking to Ashley about
and I saw it and I was like, need it.
Dried cherries, mango, peach tea.
These little like ramen ball things.
You're not supposed to put water in here.
I mean, I'm sure you could.
It literally says on here not to though.
Like they're just little,
like if you ever have ramen uncooked,
but they're like little balls.
And this one's a cheese one,
even though I'm very sensitive to cheese.
We still got it.
We have a spicy fried chicken.
This was the less spicy fried chicken, which I love.
So I just got a plain fried chicken.
And then of course the star of the show,
we have the egg salad sando.
So I don't know y'all.
I feel like I really nailed this.
I'm gonna wash my hands real quick
and we're about to dive in.
Let me just wash my hands.
Okay, what do we try first?
I kinda wanna try these cherries.
I feel like I'm gonna love them
or I'm just gonna be like indifferent.
Okay, it doesn't really smell like anything.
Oh wow.
Honestly, that's really good.
Wow.
Oh my God, those are really good.
Oh my God, dang it.
I say dang it,
cause I'm gonna eat this whole bag.
Wow, it's really good.
We're gonna try our tea.
Mm.
Oh yes.
That's really good.
I'm gonna try this real quick.
Last trip I tried something like this
and it was probably the same brand,
but they were, it was like spicy and I really liked them.
So, it's literally cheddar and brie.
I'm giving all of these like a solid eight out of 10 so far.
We're gonna move over to the main course meal.
Mm-hmm.
I'm not a good mukbanger
because I don't know how to describe anything.
I forget to rate half of it.
And then I feel like I'm just like,
oh, like I don't really,
I don't know guys.
I don't know.
I don't know for the best part.
Okay, I will say,
I feel like I should cut this chicken cause she thick.
Oh, the way that fell apart.
Like, I'm sorry.
This is better than any room service I could order
and it's a fraction of the price.
So, I'm sorry.
I love food.
I don't understand people who are just like,
who don't love food.
This cures any seasonal depression I get, okay?
I'm being serious.
I'm not just joking.
Wow, I just hear me eating
and I could do anything in the world.
I would make sure everyone gets to experience this.
At my wedding, I imagine I could get this for everyone.
I'm just going to sit here in silence.
I hope that's okay.
Okay, Gen Z.
Wow, good morning everyone.
Good afternoon.
Good evening because it's been a day.
It actually was a very like, well, I'll update.
Barely vlogged today as you probably noticed
because I woke up and got my period.
Luckily it was like light-ish
but I feel like just any time with a travel day especially,
I was so knocked out.
Like, ooh, it hurt extra bad today.
But luckily it was light so I'm not complaining too much.
But we made it to our new hotel.
We're at the edition in Tokyo
and the ride itself was actually, aside from my cramps,
the first 45 minutes were pretty rough
because I couldn't get comfortable
and I was just like focusing on that.
But the ride itself was actually like super simple,
super easy, so beautiful too.
We saw Mount Fuji, which was really cool
and there was even like the tiniest little bit of snow
on top, which was awesome.
Our luggage made it, which we shipped yesterday
and that was the biggest life hack that I had no idea about,
which kind of makes sense now that I'm thinking about it.
But I think this was our fault.
We didn't know that they actually delivered it
to the hotel so we went to like three different
package pickups places at Tokyo Station
and everyone was like, oh, that's not us,
that's not us, that cards.
And we were like, what?
Like, where did they go?
And then we finally realized.
So that was rough.
I was very overstimulated and on my period
and I was just like, I was like, wanted to give up.
So apart from me, everything has been so smooth.
My cramps are finally letting up, which is so nice.
And then we weren't able to check in until a little later.
So we're getting a little bit of a later start to the day.
But that's okay.
Because I got sad and I was like, oh my God,
I feel like I wasted a day because now the sun
is like almost setting and I haven't even like,
I just, I was like feeling down on myself
and I was like, Alisha, no, you're on your period.
Get over it.
You know what I mean?
The hormones are hormoning.
They're doing their job.
They're making you feel like ---- and stand up to that.
You know what I mean?
Anyway, but one thing that makes it so much better
is this view.
Oh my God.
A room tour.
First of all, they fully upgraded our room,
which was so sweet and so sick.
Like guys, they gave us a balcony.
Please look at this view right now.
It's unreal.
It's so unreal that when Ashley first saw it.
I wept.
No, like she cried.
And then I felt even more bad
because I was a bitch to you earlier.
No, I ugly cried because it was like breathtaking.
Also, it was like golden hour.
Like the sun was coming in and it was like hitting the,
oh, it was so pretty.
Like I, like they, yeah,
did not plan on having a balcony slash deck.
Every hotel I've ever been to in Japan
has never had a patio,
but like it's always been like super small.
Yeah, no, we were like, that's so lucky.
We got so lucky.
This is insane.
And then Tokyo tower is literally right there.
No, it's absolutely beautiful.
no.
And then I was like, then I was sex.
And I was like, I haven't even vlogged.
And it's,
I know.
I think in my head,
I over committed what I thought today would be for us.
No, I know.
Which is why they missed me.
Literally just sitting.
Eating lunch.
That's all you miss.
Which wasn't that good.
Yeah.
I told you, you admitted it.
Cause it was my fault.
I said, we should eat at this place.
And I knew I was like, I feel like maybe we shouldn't.
And then I knew it.
It was just easiest, you know,
but anyway, this view is stunning.
This is breathtaking.
I feel so grateful and so lucky.
I did my first meditation with a pot of curry.
I'm going to potty up, start my journal.
You should.
I don't have my journal,
but I can write in my little insert.
Yeah.
That's all you need, honestly.
One of the workers here was saying we should have wine
and the view will be really beautiful at night
because Tokyo tower lights up.
And I was like, Oh my God, I forgot.
She said, I'll buy the bottle.
This is stunning.
And then we get to see Yuko tomorrow.
I'm so excited.
Yeah. I'm down for like the chillest dinner.
We could even just get family bar
or 7-Eleven or something if you want.
It doesn't need to be crazy.
Yeah. We can literally do it.
Eat it right there.
I saw a TikTok the other day and it was like,
you would really just live in life with us.
You'll be like in traffic, just like me,
but bleeding profusely and just like traveling to
and from like on a train, but bleeding profusely.
So you traveled on a train.
You mean like literally?
From Kyoto to Tokyo, bleeding profusely.
But luckily it was light.
Although cramps were hard, but like the flow was light.
Anyway, we're honestly, there's,
I don't know how much we're even going to be vlogging
this weekend because we're definitely
going to be in anti-mode.
We're not seeing them till tomorrow.
So today's kind of like our free day to kind of vlog
and do touristy things.
So I think we should do Shibuya.
Cause then tomorrow we're going to do our head spa
in Ginza so we can always bop around there
because we can only go one at a time
and then Yuka's going to be there with us.
So while like I'm getting mine done,
you can, you and her can walk around
for like an hour or something.
Wow. Okay.
Anyways, I would love some strawberries at some point.
Okay. I'm so sorry, Chanel boots.
Those are stunning.
Okay. We are coming to Margiela
because I would love some tabbies.
Okay. I thought they weren't going to have any
because they only have a few out for display,
but then she opened all of these.
She was like, oh, we have so many colors available.
Oh my God.
I already have some light cream ones,
but I'm thinking either plain black or plain brown,
but we will see.
I also like these ones with the little strap.
I don't know.
Silly.
I know for people who hate them,
I get it.
But I have my light ones, which we love.
But like when I was wearing the black socks the other day,
don't look at this person.
It's not the vibe.
Yeah.
You guys, I think I'm getting both.
There was two, okay?
They didn't have the dark brown, but they had black.
And then she said that this was the last black pair
because they just had a restock today in Japan.
So then I was like, well, obviously I have to get the black.
But then I also felt like the dark brown
was like really speaking to me.
So, why not?
We secured the bag.
I got such a good deal for two of them.
It's actually insane.
And I got the last black ones, which makes me really happy.
I'm very pumped.
Okay, wait.
I think it's just because we're shopping at nighttime
and all the lights, but it feels very holiday-esque.
It does feel holiday-esque.
Also, we just saw a Christmas tree.
We did also just see a Christmas tree.
But it was less of that.
I wanna shop.
No, like it just, it feels like, it feels like Vlogmas.
Oh, what's happening here?
There's a line.
Oh, On Cloud I think is still here, right?
Or it's just called On?
I forget.
It's called On.
That's crazy, it's only called On.
All these lights reminded me of Times Square
and it is crazy that I was in New York a week ago.
That's probably why my period was worse.
It's like, what are you doing?
What time zone are you in?
I think you'd like this place.
I think I went in here before.
They do, they're still designer,
but they have like a little more variety.
You guys, more Christmas.
All the holidays.
Oh my God, it does.
Wait.
Oh my, I'm so sorry.
This, like, it feels like Vlogmas and I'm really excited.
Everyone's like, are you doing it?
I'm like, well, now I have to.
I just got excited.
Oh, you loved it until the pink.
Don't love the pink.
I know, but it's, I like the green.
You technically could and also, I will say,
I kind of like, it'll be closed.
I do like the green.
I like this one better.
This is cute.
Okay.
This is super cute.
All right, I don't think I have found anything here,
which is totally okay.
I also don't think Ashley has.
They had some cute stuff.
I will say, I am kind of starting to cramp again,
so that's not fun.
I'm starting to cramp again.
Oh no.
Well, we were gonna go to sushi and it was a two hour wait,
so we're not anymore.
Update.
It's been two seconds because we went in there
and there was no egg salad sandwich.
No egg salad sandwich for Ash.
So, I looked at her and I go, room service.
She goes, room service, which makes me sad,
but I do have a credit, so we're called in.
