Hi, I'm Brad. I'm John. Okay. Mission Souls has released something new. Very good. Yes. It was a request for them. I read that down below the video. It actually makes a bit more sense knowing that it was request because the song in question there is a cake request we have oh yes um but it's not to watch our videos I know it's not something I would have necessarily thought they would have done without it being a request the song in question is good from I know the song um I think you know the song I think I would but yeah I haven't listened it's not in the stack um that's just one step yes but it's not in that stack wood is a song by the American rock band Alice in Chains released in June of 1992 written by the guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell as a tribute to his friend Andrew Wood spelled differently lead vocalist of Mother Love Bone which is a great name for a band I'm just saying um who died in 1990. Cantrell sings the verses of the song while Lane Stanley sings the uh song is on the Dirt album which you have yeah so therefore you've heard it yeah I'm just not picturing it it's also in the soundtrack from the 1992 film Singles I have to know it yeah but like I said it's been forever since I've listened to any and it's just the kids this time around so we have Ice on Drums age 11 I thought he just turned or he's going to be turning no I don't think it's that birthday he did but this was recorded prior oh um Stacy's doing rhythm guitar on the main vocals age 13 Nisha lead guitar and backing vocals 15 and Macy's is on bass this time instead of keyboard 16 okay how much talent for being so young I guess you know we have parents who yeah dad did the mixing and stuff but we don't care about that poor dad we care he's behind the camera he's not important anymore so we're ready yes all right before we get going make sure you hit that like and subscribe check out the description beginning there's that's gonna be a spike on the audio um yeah I don't honestly know an awful lot of I know that or this probably is I hear it yeah well that's true so I made a big mistake of course for YouTube this is a good one for eyes yeah he had some drumming in on this one yeah that's a real active drum track on it yeah um seems like a lot of the ones that were done recently he's been a bit bored in the back you know okay can't do something interesting they're doing a good they always do such a good job yeah like I said I'm still somewhat surprised because it's not something that my mind would have picked out that they would have gravitated towards doing yeah but yeah because when you first told me I'll show you them like really yeah and then I can't think of the name of the song so yeah or that what the song was but as I said it was a song that somebody requested that they do well let's check yeah yeah they always do you know such a good job you know uh yeah it's I mean I know I said before it's not something I would have you know immediately thought oh they should do that yeah I mean they yeah they said they did a really good job at it oh I liked it um but yeah it's not something that I immediately would have gone there's a song that Mission Solve should cover yeah just very unexpected but it does it really does show just how good they are because it's kind of like they can do these covers that are unexpected yeah and really pull them off well um you know how long they practice these for yeah before they release them are they doing like you know three or four at a time kind of thing you know a month you start practicing it a month ahead kind of thing yeah I know I'm not a musician so I mean I guess I mean it's you know I mean there are that that's your that's your art so it's like yeah it probably comes to them quickly like you yeah well I mean it depends I mean if you're learning something from somebody else I always found that took me longer back when I was playing it took me longer to learn um a piece especially like that because you're effectively you're learning it um without me to be able to play it without music um so you're memorizing it it took me longer to do that than it did if I wrote it you know if it was an original thing that I wrote I could memorize it you know at least twice as fast I'm not going to say that I could literally write it and have it memorized immediately it with me it didn't work though there are some people out there who literally can hear something once and yeah you know hop onto a piano and play it yeah um I've actually met a couple of people who are like that they're annoying quite frankly um you know who you are I mean I want to know um it's like and in the same vein they can you know just open a piece of sheet music and immediately play it kind of thing you play it once and that's it it's memorized for them well if you're having fun at it it becomes easier and there yeah and and yeah it is also a case of getting more practice the easier it becomes but yeah I'm curious to know how much of a lead time they have for everything that they actually perform and there again it might be you know songs that they already know and well yeah or listen to and so it's like they pick it up easy and I don't that's true yeah be interesting to know how their minds think and how easy they pick things up yeah like some things I cannot pick up no you know still those computers I mean I could be told 20,000 times the same thing and it's like it just doesn't yeah I mean does it whatever the word is yeah there's some other things it's like I could pick up like that and just be like okay yeah I'm a visual or I need I need it see it being it's like don't tell it's like show me and then let me do it yeah
