Phenomenal film. It's very powerful. You can tell that a lot of work has gone into it,
but the main thing is that it's very authentic. It was a very genuine attempt to put forward
what truthfully happened. The Unrestricted War recently
premiered in Australia's New South Wales Parliament. Director Jan Ma joined via video link.
Inspired by true events, the thriller tells the story of a Canadian virologist coerced by the
confidential virus samples from a foreign laboratory,
highlighting the global threats posed by the Chinese Communist Party.
The director has very bravely illustrated one aspect of what is going on in the world.
We can't tolerate the continuous existence of a government which is really a criminal enterprise.
Great dramatic and photographic and film abilities. The director is to be congratulated for that.
The story is very compelling. I was just glued to the screen the whole time.
This film needs to be shown everywhere, all over the world.
Audiences were stunned by how powerfully the film depicts the CCP's use of coercion
to warp human nature and threaten the free world.
I was really amazed with how they used somebody who was so vulnerable
and had experienced such a great loss and grief could be used for such an evil
strategy for the future and to destroy so many families and so many people,
and in fact nations. I really want to congratulate the filmmakers for their courage,
especially just here after the Q&A, some of the backlash, some of the intimidation and harassment
that they experienced. I really just commend them.
It's a great eye-opener for Australians and Australian audience who are
very relaxed about the world, especially with governmental controls and surveillance.
If Western audiences truly understand the film and extrapolate from it,
they will gain a much deeper understanding of today's China.
In my view, the most evil place in the entire world is right there in Beijing, right in Zhongnanhai.
Young people of today shouldn't think that communism is a great idea,
that they should really educate themselves on how people live in different countries.
Faced with the CCP's sinister threats, the film's protagonists endure agonizing struggles
before choosing to stand for what is right. Baristas of York said the film delivers hope.
What was beautiful in the film is that the good people wanted to do the right thing.
Ultimately, the film is full of hope. This film captured the complexity of love
and also it captured the good that is written in people's hearts.
