All right, Dad, what do we have going on today?
All right, so listen, I'm going to make this mocktail inspired for the purpose of Diana's
engagement party, right? I'm going to use some green apples, which are sour. I'm going to use
some red apples, which are going to be a little sweeter, and some oranges that are clearly citrusy,
much of a flavor from the orange is sweet, so we're going to use that to complement that.
Now, let's cut. Wait, that's not a knife. That's a knife.
Pop them in here. Wait, this is the wrong way.
I don't think I've ever juiced a green apple. Juiced it. Not a lot of juice in there.
Oh, God. Muscles. This is going to take a long time.
How many apples? That was six apples.
Six apples, and you barely got a cup. Well, you got six apples. That's probably
10 ounces of juice. Yeah, it's interesting.
Now we're going to go with some sweet honeycrisp apples. There you go.
So you got more juice out of that. That's like a mocktail ready to go.
It's just apple juice. That's good. Needs some work.
In she goes. I mean, that looks great.
Oranges. Oh, good job. Oh, sorry.
Whoa, watch your fingers. You got to commit to it.
Juice it. Not a lot of juice coming out of this thing.
It's a tall glass of orange and apple juice. All right, this is going to be much different
because it's orange. And apple juice.
Come on. Oh, wow.
Oh, that's really good. Oh, I like that. Taste that.
That is good. I mean, so let's see.
To add some volume to this, I'm going to pack it with ice.
I'm going to add these in with the honey. Stay here, Zeus.
I'm going to pour those four in there. It's going to bring it all the way up.
Ready? Ice it.
I got some honey and I don't know what to do with it, but I do know what to do with it.
So I'm going to take the bottom. Well, because this is the hard part.
We have a little bit of honey left. What do you do with it? It's hard to get out.
So we're going to get all of that stuff that's stuck at the bottom.
It's coming out. Good idea.
This is a good idea. Good shake.
Oh, easy. Well, it's carbonation.
Oh, this is awesome. What?
What? Oh, you got to taste this.
Oh, my God. That's so good.
This is going to go in here. I want to make a hot toddy with this.
This is so good. Save it for next week.
In she goes. Two more of these.
All right, we're going to stir this up. I'm not done yet.
Ready for this? Why? Is it bad?
No, it's not bad. They're just, they're all bled.
They must have melt a little bit. Blackberries and blueberries.
Top with some frozen berries. That looks, that looks nice.
I'm going to get ice. I'm going to serve you a mocktail and a cocktail.
Wow. That's all layered on the top. Obviously, the color.
That's good. The best part about this is, like I said,
this is batched up. We're going to do this at my daughter's
engagement party. So those that don't want alcohol,
we're going to have a nice, refreshing, crisp, fall apple cider drink.
Now, here's your mocktail. The pour.
Now, to take the mocktail to a cocktail level, we're going to use cinnamon whiskey.
Just a little cinnamon whiskey. Looks yummy.
Oh, this is going to be delicious. This is going to be so, this is going to be solid.
Just, just smell that. Can you guys smell that?
Oh yeah. I'll taste it.
Johnny, I'm telling you, nailed it. You nailed this one.
That's good. Wow.
That's better than the mocktail. That's very good.
Yeah, that is good. Tastes like fall.
We're going to call this the best of both worlds. Mocktail, cocktail options.
One simple base to start with and makes everybody happy.
Cheers.
