VLOGMAS IN NEW YORK DAY 2 🎁☃️🎬 surprising ryan, prepping for a guest, holiday red carpet premiere

Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Good morning. Happy Vlogmas day two. I just got back up from the gym and it is the most gloomy day ever. Oh, it's raining. Darn. It was supposed to snow today, you guys. There was a 95% chance of snow. I was like, how perfect for Vlogmas, but it's looking like rain at the moment. Sad. But I'm happy because my blowout lasted through the night. I just sleep with my hair up like in like a bun situation and it's like this. And I just worked out. Like, are we kidding? And I'm tan. So, I'm just feeling good. You know, we're off to a good start. I put Last night was the night I had to switch my aligners for Invisalign. So, they're like a little bit tighter and I feel like my voice is a little bit different on those days where I change it up. So, sorry if my voice sounds a little different. I should I I need to stop pointing it out, but the vibes are immaculate in here regardless. And I actually have a friend coming to stay with Ryan and I this week. She's a friend of Ryan and I. She's here doing I need to ask you exactly what it is, but I think it's like a rotation for vet school. She's at vet school at UG actually, but she's here doing something for veterinary school for like a week. So, she's staying with us tonight and tomorrow night. So, I had Ryan help me this morning bring like move the desk, pull the Murphy bed down. I wanted to make this the full hotel Danielle and Ryan experience. So, I'm going to make the bed. We're just going to make it nice and cute here. I'm actually going to be gone when she gets here cuz I have to do something. So, I just want it to be nice and cute when she walks in. And then I'm taking her to a movie premiere tonight. We're going to the world premiere for Oh, what fun, which is a Christmas movie or like a holiday movie. And there's a red carpet and everything. And I was like, this would be so fun to bring her to. Also like a fun festive thing. I love a Christmas movie. It's a Prime Video movie. Michelle Fefeifer's in it. Eva Longoria and I think they're going to be there. So, it's going to be really fun. And I think I know what I'm wearing. So, I'm excited. So, yeah. Let's get set up for Miss Michaela. I recently got a second set of sheets because we've had like I feel like when we do have guests there there's like another one a couple days later, which like isn't normal, but that's how it's been working out because my brother is coming to stay with us this weekend. So, I have a pair another pair of sheets that just makes it easier cuz Michaela leaves Thursday and Freddy comes Friday. If I don't get around to like washing the sheets, it's okay. We have a second set. This set, oh my god, this is from Cozy Cozy Earth, I think. Oh my god, this is so soft. And I actually love this color. So, we're going to put these on today from Miss Michaela. Hey, so this is going to be such a comfortable sleep. Like sometimes I want to get like a throw pillow just for decoration. I'm like I don't have storage for it. Like I basically put all this stuff in these drawers, but there is no room when everything's in there. So, but like kind of a sleigh. I have this blanket. if she gets cold. The one thing that Ryan's parents told us that we could benefit from is especially if like two people are sleeping in here, which actually Ryan's best friend and his girlfriend are coming to stay with us for New Year's Eve, so we should probably do this sooner than later. But like there's this gap here and sometimes people like to have two pillows and like that's like kind of scary. So if we got two more pillows then you don't have to worry. But since it's just Michaela, she could like double up, I think. Oh my god, these sheets are so soft. Okay, bed is made. And then I just tidied up the bathroom. I need to get her a fresh towel to put in here. I'll just never get over the Murphy bed. Also, someone gave us an idea to put artwork, like hang it up cuz this is like the wall to hang something up there. So when you pull it down, there's artwork. And I love that idea. I'm also so happy I got this because obviously this is Ryan's closet so there's no room in there. But if she wants to hang anything up, she can. She could put like her shoes there, anything like charging station. I mean, this is so fun. In the new year, like last year, if you guys remember in January, I think it was, I like organized every single part of our of my apartment. And I want to do that again this January, February, of like just really like, you know, making this more whole. like maybe maybe getting a piece of work here. Even though I film a lot of videos in front of this, so it's really helpful for it to be plain, but like really just finishing the whole apartment up. So, more to come in the new year. Vlogmas day one is up. Feels like Christmas wig. And I just heated up a bowl of chili I'm going to have for lunch and get excited and read all of your comments. It's a real caffeine kind of day. I think I'm going to do a half calf ice latte. So, one shot of real espresso, one shot of decaf. So, this is Yeah, we're going to do not intensity five. Do intensity three for the caffeinated. Do a bigger boy today. Gosh, this just makes me too happy. Should we play a song? Hey, I haven't used this in a while. I've only used this like twice. This is the vanilla cold foam. Let's just like do it up. Why not? It's Vlogmas after all. Wow, that's a dessert. But isn't she gorgeous? Wow. It's time to do the makeup. You guys already know I bought this light so I have optimal lighting and it's just wow. You have to get adjusted, but like it's also really good when I make Tik Toks in here. I have this on my Amazon as like my filming setup or mirror makeup light. I don't even know what I called it. But we're going to do my makeup. I'll check back in after. Makeup is done. I can't believe like I have not touched my hair with a hair tool today. Crazy. I have some content I'm going to film for like branded stuff. So, I'm going to do that now. This is the little outfit I'm wearing right now. How cute is this? A little HSAsa top and then my favorite silk pants from Vince. The caffeine hasn't hit me yet, you guys. What the heck? I actually thought it'd be a little interesting to show you guys a little BTS. So, I'm sitting here for the video I'm about to film and I want to use the back camera on my phone, but like and I do have a monitor somewhere. I just don't know where it is right now. So, I keep like sitting there filming and then checking it to see if I got myself in the shot and if I like the angle. So, let's see if I Yeah, that's cute. Perfect. Okay, here I go. So, like I said, Hotel Danielle and Ryan booked up this week. I've got my friend Michaela coming later today, and then on Friday, my brother and his best friend are coming to stay with Ryan and I. So, we've got a turnover service. Like, everything's happening. Very, very excited for them to come. So, naturally, as a big sister, it's my duty to make an itinerary or just like help plan this weekend. My brother just wanted to come with his friend to show him New York during Christmas time. And I'm so excited for you guys to see. Okay, I'm just about done editing, but I wanted to kind of give you guys a little summary before a caller gets here. So, I have been wanting a piece of art for the apartment. One, that's sentimental. Two, that has a little color cuz you guys know I'm a very neutral girly, but I love color. And I think it was one of you guys that commented like, "What if you did a pop of red?" Cuz I love red. I think that's perfect. And then I was like, "Hm, this wall right here is very plain. it could bring some color to the room. So, I reached out to Collier because she does such cool pieces for restaurants, people, brands, like the coolest stuff. And I told her, I was like, I don't I I want your help. And she was like so down immediately. And I was like, I just have this vision of like a big red apple because obviously red color, but also the big apple. Ryan and I live in New York. And I wanted it to be something really cute for me and Ryan. Like kind of me and Ryan, like kind of like Ryan and I's favorite things in New York. She does these pieces for other people. I've seen her do them for she did one for Hi Bachelder. She did one for her boyfriend. She's done them for other people like and it's so so cute. And I was like, "Yeah, we need one." So Brian has absolutely no idea that I even have been talking to Collier about this, but we basically have been collaborating on the last few months of like, you know, what would make sense to be on the artwork. I had initially I had this vision of the apple in the middle and then like a ton of things around it and then kind of going back and forth with her and she was just like so creative. I think we ended up do you'll see, but it has a ton of Ryan and I's favorite New York City spots and things. I'm so excited. Brian literally has no idea. So, she's on her way over right now to show me the artwork in person. She showed it to me like in I've seen so many photos and videos and stuff, but she's so sweet and she wanted to hand deliver the artwork. So, very, very excited. So, that'll go right on that wall, I think. I mean, I guess I could totally do a switch up once I see it in person, but I think it'll be a you know, you'll see it a lot like if we're in here. The other option we had talked about was doing it like on this wall, but I'm not sure because I actually just ordered on Framebridge two black and white photos of Ryan and I on our birthday party. Like black and white really cool flash photos and I got them framed in black frames and I even got photo lights to go over it. And I don't know exactly. I also thought about putting the frames here cuz it's just so plain here. So, the frames will either go there or could also do on this wall, but I'm realizing I don't know, beachy vibes with that. We'll see. We'll see. But very excited about that as well. Collier said she's pulling up. I'm so excited. I've got Spotify on the TV playing some music, guys. She just got here and she wrapped it. Okay, so originally like Danielle wanted to do this like apple theme here in the middle. So it was originally like a big apple here and then icons around it and then I got to the end and I really just felt like it was kind of missing something and she really wanted to have this kind of vintage wornin look. So, I found this vintage postcard, which is where I got kind of this idea from. And then from there, I just kind of started building it out around that. And I think it really just came together. And then I ended up switching the apple to like a different orientation so it could really land in that corner. And yeah, >> I love how it came out. And then obviously we have the bulldog for American whiskey. >> Like that's the Georgia bar right there. And it's perfect cuz we didn't want like just American whiskey signs. That's like a perfect detail. >> It's a little anecdote. And then the girl gals on the go taxi. So I wanted to do a little part that kind of tied into all of the places that they have lived before. So, we have all of the keys that represent all of the neighborhoods that they had lived in. And I just kind of wanted to, you know, tie it all in. This is like the abode keychain. So, I just I love them. I think they're so cute. >> Oh, yeah. Cuz we live in Soho right now. No. >> And she was like, "No, I drew that." I'm like, "Oh, I literally thought it was the photo." >> Yeah. So, there's that. And then I stalked the photographer to find the actual camera that he used to take that. So, that's his actual camera and model. >> Sick. >> Yeah. We have their favorite bagel. I actually feel like this makes it a little fun, too, with the color. But you see, there's a tiny detail here. It says Orion's like billiard's club because he's on like a pool team and plays pool at like every bar in New York. So, this is his thing. And then we've got the bodega flowers that he would always get Danielle. And I thought that was just a really cute way to tie in the both of them. And it actually is going to be quicker to Uber, my map says, than to Subway, which I really hope that's correct because I don't really have room for error because if I want to be able to walk the red carpet, you got to get there at 6:00 because basically they let like influencers walk the red carpet and then like the actual actors and directors and those people, the important people. For sure. But it was fun. And now it's time to get our tickets guys. How cute. They put little Voss waters and then I'm hoping there's like cookies or a snack in there. A nice little goodie.
