Welcome to the journey of exploring the heartfelt five bay wooden house that we have just completed.
This is a special construction with a traditional design that combines a flexible box with modern
elements. Prominent is the brown tiled roof with each tile selected for its flatness and in five
color tones, evoking intimacy tinged with the colors of time and nostalgia. What is special
is that the tiles are produced using modern methods, meeting current demands and extending
the lifespan of the tiles compared to traditional ones. Can you feel the beauty of this traditional
roof? Please share your thoughts in the comments. Entering the five bay wooden house, stepping onto
the porch with a focal point. The first step is wider with an exquisite stone screen in the center.
The combination of traditional and modern thinking in this architecture creates comfort and convenience
compared to conventional designs. One of the interesting details that few people notice is
the roof patterns and decorative motifs, which are not only visually appealing, but also carry
profound symbolic meanings that both ward off negative energy and protect the peace and
sustainability of the house. The porch features a distinctive carving style of rosewood characterized
not by the quantity of designs, but by the density of the decorative patterns. Instead, it focuses
on the overall harmony and the small details with each intricate motif crafted by the skilled hands
of artisans, highlighting the beauty that our ancestors have passed down through generations.
The standout feature of the traditional five bay wooden house is the central space, which is
architecturally arranged as a worship area. This is a space dedicated to deep reverence, reflecting
the descendants respect for their ancestors. This architecture creates a worship space with depth
and a sense of the sacred and solemn, using rosewood and finished according to traditional
methods of lime soaking and polishing. Additionally, the structure harmonizes traditional architecture
with contemporary usage needs. This aims to preserve and promote traditional values sustainably
with two rooms that function as fully equipped living spaces. In this space, items representing
the essence of famous craft villages are arranged to highlight for viewers to see the exquisite
beauty of Vietnam. What do you think about the combination of these craft masterpieces within a
single structure like this? Prominent are two paintings with the first showing rural Vietnam
highlighting vibrant emotional scenes of traditional Tet celebration, the banyan tree,
communal yard, Tet pole. Each image recalls memories for the homeland. The second painting
depicts the scene of Tet with images of descendants tidying the altar. These paintings are not only a
part of the five bay wooden house, but also a spiritual heritage that connects generations
within the family. This is another design pattern in the collection of Vietnamese Tet motifs by Go
Giang, a collection that we have dedicated much effort to and entrusted with. This design pattern
has been copyrighted for the projects we undertake. What do you think about this carving
sample? Please leave your comments. The guest reception area is decorated with rosewood furniture
featuring a sophisticated arrangement that highlights traditional cultural elements
while still meeting the demands of modern life. Finally, inspired by the decorative style of Le
Dynasty, a carving style reaching the brilliant peak of artistic excellence in Vietnamese wood.
Every carved detail on the eaves of the five bay wooden house has been executed with meticulous
care, dedication, and considerable effort. Let us take a moment to admire some images from the
process of constructing and completing the structure of the house. Peak plate, middle plate,
peak with intricate bird patterns, seated figure, details. The process of constructing the wooden
frame house and the new elements can be referenced in the video we linked in the description.
Each detail is a testament to the art of traditional wood carving.
We hope that our project will contribute to the preservation of Vietnam's heritage.
What do you think about this project? Please leave your thoughts and look forward to the
next videos about the journey of continuing the traditional values of Vietnam.
