Online Wedding Show - First Dance Tips - 4 First Dance Options - (from) Simple to Fancy!

Welcome and thank you for joining us. I know that weddings can be very pricey and I know that it can be very stressful and believe me I've heard probably 80 percent of the people that have been in my class or even on a private lesson where one person dragged the other end. It used to be a lot of times the lady would drag the guy in but that changed about 10 years ago and it would flip from there on and oftentimes the leading factor was that they didn't think that they could dance. It was the mindset and of course from there it seemed like it was an expense when really this was an investment not only in yourself and developing this sense of ability and the absolute fact that you can dance not just with one another but with anyone and we thank our coach every single day for blessing us with this system that's designed to take you where you want it to go. So it's basically your dance, your way to whatever song you want to dance to. You do not have to be a cookie cutter dance. It doesn't have to stay in these restricted boundaries. It becomes about you as a couple. The two individuals and what you generate together as a couple. If you kiss her hand normally or your partner's hand to add that into the dance. If you proposed on the knee then we could also add this into the dance. So one of the moves that I like doing is giving her an inside turn going down onto a knee and letting her circle around. If you kiss the hand you could add that there. I trail my hand across his back across his arm to his hand and this could be a nice opening move or at the end you could turn her and sit her down and then to get up eloquently she'll get up. I will bring him up and then you can go about your dance or walk off depending on if this is the beginning of the dance or at the end. You could also put it in the middle for a crescendo. So a common question that a lot of wedding couples ask us is about their first song. When couples ask us I simply say pick a song that has meaning for you. Whatever that song is. Sometimes it's more than one. Sometimes we end up spicing songs together to create that special first dance. So now what we're going to do is we're going to put on a few songs and dance them for you and just kind of take notice we're just going to add sections of funky stuff, simple stuff, combinations.
