Gold is one of the most manipulated markets on the planet and most traders don't even
realize they're walking straight into engineer traps every single session.
Today I'm going to show you the dark side of gold manipulation, specifically the pattern
that forms almost every day and why most retail traders get baited into the wrong direction
This is the full breakdown of my golden trap model and once you understand it,
you'll never look at gold the same way again. Everything in this video happens on the 15
minute time frame and everything follows a simple formula. Identify the session,
wait for the sweep, catch the order block, enter on the propulsion block and target a clean
2R and then we walk away. It's clean, it is rules-based and once you understand
the logic behind the institutional trap that forms, this becomes one of the simplest ways
to day trade gold consistently. Gold doesn't just move randomly, it doesn't pump or dump
because of news or momentum the way beginners think. It moves because each session has one
purpose. Engineer liquidity, sweep traders, trap traders, build fuel for the real move
and once you understand that the market is actively hunting levels, not reacting to them,
everything becomes predictable. The golden trap forms because gold will almost always sweep a
session high and low, create the illusion of a breakout, trap money into the wrong side
and then reverse into the real direction. So the three sessions we're going to focus on today is
Asia that builds the range, London sweeps one side of Asia's range, New York either confirms
or traps traders and every single session is liquidity engineering. The manipulation pattern
is sweep the session high and low, create a 15 minute order block, retrace back into that order
block, form a propulsion block and enter at that propulsion block level. Now if you do not know
what a propulsion block is, I'm going to go over it in this video. Like we said, we use three sessions
Asia, London and New York. You don't need indicators, you don't need volume, you don't need
anything except understanding which session created liquidity and which session is about to use it.
So over here on the top right hand corner, we have the strategy rules marked out clearly for you and
I want you to take note of this and write all of this down. The first thing we're going to do is
we're going to mark out the high and the low of Asia session. We're going to go over the timings
in Asia, we're going to go over the timings of London and the timings of New York later on in
the video, so take notes on that. So we are marking out the high of Asia, we're marking out the low
of Asia as well. Then we want to wait for liquidity rate and an order block to form.
So here in the next session, we see that we sweep out the low that Asia created, we then trade back
up and down, we sweep it again with two down-closed candles. Remember, an order block is when we close
above opposing candles that took out liquidity. I do have other videos on my channel covering
order blocks. We're going to wait for that order block to form and then we're going to wait for
price to trade back into that order block. If price does not trade back into the order block,
this is not a valid setup. We need price action to trade back into that order block and then close
above the down-closed candles again to form what's known as a propulsion block. I know it sounds big
and scary but a propulsion block is just an order block out of an order block. We see we have two
down-closed candles that trades into the initial order block that got closed above. So to keep it
simple for the new traders out there, it is just an order block out of an order block. Now this
is where we take the trade. As soon as price action closes above these down-closed candles
to confirm my propulsion block, that is where I can execute my position. My stop loss will cover
the swing point of the propulsion block and my target will be to R. Have you ever looked at your
charts and thought to yourself, man, I know I can be good at this trading thing. I just need the
right guidance and the right structure. Then this is your moment. Inside the mentorship, you don't
just get videos, you get a full transformation. You trade live with me every single day. That is
correct. From Mondays to Friday, I show up personally every single day and I trade live
right alongside you. You learn the exact models I use step by step. You get 24-7 support, you get
real accountability and you get a group of traders that actually wants the best for you.
I built this because I know exactly what it feels like to be stuck, to feel like you're almost there,
to hop from strategy to strategy and to feel like the dream is just slipping away. But you don't
have to do this alone anymore. Imagine where you could be 90 days from now if you had structure,
mentorship and a real plan from someone that's gone through all of the steps and achieved the
life that you are looking for. Imagine passing your funded challenge. Imagine having a skill
that pays you for the rest of your life. And that is why I do this. And that is exactly why I'm
offering 60% off lifetime access before December hits. As a Black Friday special, this program
will never be this cheap again. So go ahead, check out the first link in my description
and use code LIFE60 to get your 60% off lifetime access. Okay, here we have our first example on
gold on the 15-minute time frame. Remember I said I'm going to share the session timings with you?
Well, we have Asia session starting at 6 p.m. London starts at midnight and then New York
starts at 6 a.m. up until 12 a.m. This is what I want you to use for your timings. 6 to 12,
12 to 6 and then 6 to 12 again. That is it. For this model, that's the sessions I want you to use.
Remember our rules? Well, we're going to go ahead and we're going to look at my Asia session with
this purple box. We're going to mark out the low of that session and we're going to wait for price
action to sweep out this low on the 15-minute time frame. We can also go ahead and mark out
the high of the session but the reason I picked the low is because price action is very likely
to take out the low before it's going to take out the high just because London opened very close
to the low. So now we just play price action forward and all we do is we just wait for a sweep.
Here we can see that we did take out that level. So what do we need now? Now we need the market to
close above these two down closed candles. That is exactly what happens. So what do we have over
here? Over here we have our very first order block that is being created. Now we need price action
to go ahead and trade away from this block, come back into it and then close above the down closed
candles that traded back into that initial order block. That will form my propulsion block.
We can play price forward and we see that we trade back into it. So we need a candle closure
above this bearish candle to form my propulsion block. Let's wait to see what happens. We see
the market just trades lower and that's perfectly fine. I don't want you to freak out over here.
So here we have that sweep of Asia low. Now what do we need? All this is, I call this a price
reset. This is something I teach in my mentorship program as well. It is just a price reset. So
without overcomplicating everything, now we need the market just to go ahead and close above these
two down closed candles to form my next order block. And all we're going to do is we're just
going to follow this down lower until we get that order block formation. We see that price action
then trades back down again. We sweep it again. So now what does this do? This moves down to these
two down closed candles. Now why these two are not this big run is because these are the last down
closed candles that took out a swing point before price action reversed. So this will be my order
block level. Now we need price just to trade away from the zone and then come back and retest it.
That is all we need for the strategy now to form my propulsion block. We see we come back, we retest
it. Now let's see what happens. Do we trade higher? Then we form a little potential swing point.
Let's see if price action then gives us what we want. Well then what happens now? Now we can see
we sweep it out again. So remember what I said when price tripped out this low? We had a reset
while we just had another reset. So now we need the market to close above those two down closed candles
to form my valid order block. We get that and we get price action displacing away. We also form
and leave a fair value gap after that displacement. So we still need the market to trade back into it
and then close above. The reason I'm going slow is because I want new traders to understand this
and show you how simple this whole world of smart money concepts can be and should be. We then see
the market trade back into that level and we close above the down closed candle. We respect the fair
value gap. But remember what I said in the breakdown? We need the market to hit my order
block. If it doesn't hit the order block and closes above, it is not a valid propulsion block. So we
need that order block to be taken out. We then have the market trading back into that initial
order block. So now we are golden. Now we need the market to then go ahead and close above these two
down closed candles to form my propulsion block. Let's see if we get that. Not yet. I'm just going
to play this forward. What happens here? I want you to pause the video and take a look at this
to see what has happened. We have just swept out a swing low again. So remember when price action
swept out this low and then this low and then this low? We just move our PDA rate down lower.
So now that we have swept out this low, my propulsion block moves down to these two down
closed candles. I just need a candle to close above those two down closed candles and then my
trade would be valid. So we do get that. This is exactly where we enter the position. My stop loss
covers this swing low. You can cover it a little bit to keep yourself out of some spreads and my
first target will be 2R. So this is a picture perfect version of how this model would work
and how it looks like. I want you to understand this. Take a screenshot and print it so that you
have it on your trading desk. And then we just see price action runs up and we hit our 2R.
Now you can take again, you don't have to take 2R, you can then leave a runner until we get out all
the time based equity. So you can go ahead and take a partial at London high. You can then go
ahead and take a partial at Asia high as well. So currently we have 2R secured and we can see that
this market then initially we run up and we take out that Asia high. Here we go ahead and we take
out Asia high for a 3.16R on this trade. And obviously not every single trade has a 100%
win rate. So I'm going to show you a valid losing trade as well. Now you get too many people out
there that think that if a trade loses two or three times, the strategy doesn't work. Guys,
losing trades are part of the journey of a trader. If you can't handle a losing trade,
this might not be the industry for you. See losing trades as the cost of doing business
because we have to treat trading like an actual business with income and expenses. Income being
the profitable trades, expenses being the losing trades. That's the cost of doing business to get
to our profitable trades. So over here, we do have our Asia session. We go ahead and we mark out Asia
high and let's see price action trade into that high. So now we can look for selling trades. We
can look for bearish trades and shorts. We need the market to give us a valid bearish order block.
So far, we don't have anything yet. Looking at this, we see then we consolidate, we retest Asia
high and then we push higher expanding. So now we still need that bearish order block. London opens
up and let's see what London does. London then goes ahead and sweeps out, sorry, New York sweeps out
London's high. And then we just rinse and repeat. We sweep out a time-based level. We need that
closure below. That is what we need. We need the market then to come back down and close below
these two up-close candles to then give me my valid order block. That is what we need to for
the first step of this model. We see price action then goes ahead and closes below those three,
four up-close candles. So we do have a valid order block. Now we need the market to retest that order
block and then give me a propulsion block. We retest that order block. So now what do we need?
Now we need the market to go ahead and close below these two up-close candles to then form
my valid propulsion block. What happens? We trade back up again. So this moves up to that single
up-close candle. Now we have formed a valid propulsion block. We have a closure through
the last up-close candle into my valid PD array. My valid PD array is going to be this order block.
These four up-close candles that got closed through. So now we are good to go ahead and to
enter our trade. We place our stop loss at this high. We can cover the high a little bit and our
first target will be 2R. And then we can go ahead and take respective partials at London low and
then a partial at Asia low. That is how we can manage the system and we see that eventually this
trade does end up stopping us out. It is a perfectly valid trade. Not every single position is going to
end up being a winner. So that is where you go ahead and you do your back test and you notice
that okay, I have a lot more losing trades when I take the position in New York session than I do
when I take it in London session. So that can be a filter. You only take trades during London
and not New York. You can allow the trade to run through New York but you can't enter during New
York session. That is how we optimize a trading strategy. So when we understand how sessions work
and how liquidity is engineered and how order blocks and propulsion blocks confirm the shift,
gold becomes very easy to read. It is not perfect. It is not guaranteed. But it is extremely
consistent. If you want more videos like this, be sure to hit subscribe. But if you want the
