VLOGMAS IN NEW YORK DAY 4 ♥️🦌 soho shopping, haircut, holiday parties, mistletoe

[Music] Hello. Happy Vlogmas day 4. Had a morning. Did my workout. And as you can see, my face is a lot paler than the rest of my body. So, we're going to re-up that. I always find that my tan comes off first on my face. So, I love this salty face tanning water. And I put on this headband to try and avoid my actual hairline as much as possible cuz I spray it on. And then I use the Kabuki brush to rub it in. And this has been my favorite face selftanner I've ever used. I find it's the it's like the least streaky like on the neck. I just kind of like lightly brush it down to the neck cuz I don't want it to be too tan right there. Usually I would do this at night before I go to bed, but the last time I did it, I went to sleep with my hand on my face and I had a ton of tan on my face. You guys probably noticed it in my vlogs. But anyways, hello. I feel like I haven't spoken to you guys yet. I've got my Invisalign in its little like denture cleaner right now. So, I just had a moment to intro. But I'm so excited to be vlogging for day four. [Music] Okay, guys. Giveaway winner for the vlog on day one has been picked. So, shout out Jess. I'm sending this to her. She lives in Arizona. She's a med student. We love that. So excited for her to get her goodies. So, I'm just writing her a little note from the desk of Danielle Carolyn. Okay, you guys. I'm going to do a quick little Yeah, we're going to do my makeup now. Super quick. I'm going to get a haircut because obviously I have extensions, but I really want layers. Like more layers. I just love having the short layers in the front and I feel like they're growing, which is great. It's a great sign, but I want them a little shorter. So, we're going to go get a super quick haircut. And then after that, I am going to pop by the Dairy Boy holiday popup market thing that Paige is hosting. I'm so excited. I wasn't able to go the last time she did it because it was like the day or the day after Ryan and I moved and it was just too much. But I remember having so much FOMO and wishing I was able to go. So, definitely going to stop by. It's going to be so cute and festive. And I was like, I just feel like we might be taking photos. So, let me put on a little makeup. I don't like to wear makeup when I'm going to the hair salon. He's going to wash my hair before he cuts it and like your makeup gets all messed up, but very very fine problem. So, normally I just go makeupless, but I'm like no. Oh, I should have my makeup light on right now. What am I doing? Anyways, so we're going to do that and then I'm going to be real with you guys. My week has taken a turn and I am very excited. So last weekend I was watching college football all weekend, which we do anyways, but last weekend it was like there was college football on Friday and Saturday, which sometimes there is, but usually Georgia doesn't play on a Friday. This year Georgia played on a Friday and then right after that. So we won. We beat Georgia Tech. I'm so sorry to the Tech fans out there. And then we were really watching to watch the Texas A&M game. Texas versus Texas A&M because if Texas beat Texas A&M, Georgia gets to play in the SEC Championship game which is this Saturday and Texas beat Texas A&M which was crazy because Texas A&M is like crushing it this year. And I really am so sorry to all my Aggies out there that follow me. I was selfishly kind of cheering on I was I was cheering on Texas because I wanted another Georgia game to watch. Last year, similar thing. I got a call a couple days before the SEC Championship from T-Mobile to go to the SEC Championship with them. Freaked out. It was like such a major deal. Like couldn't believe it. They were like, "You can bring Ryan." And this year I got another call from T-Mobile and they said, "Hey, you want to come to the SEC Championship freaking out freaking out." So I call Ryan. He like calls me from work like major. I found this out last night. Like when Macy and I were ice skating, I found out. So, and then I find out Brooke is going to the girls all go. We're going to have so much fun. She's bringing Ben and it's going to be amazing. We are playing Alabama now. I really wanted to play Miss because if Miss What was the situation if if Auburn beat Alabama than we were going to play Miss? Like, I'd much rather play Miss also but like tea because Lane Kein's gone. So much is happening in college football. I'm sorry. You can like you guys probably don't care about this, but anyways, I say all this because now Ryan and I are going to SEC Championship this weekend and we're leaving tomorrow morning. I feel so grateful the fact that like my work combines with football, which I love. And then I get to bring Ryan. Like, it's so special. My brother's coming this weekend. But I did tell him I was like, cuz sometimes Ryan and I get tickets to football games from like other people in our life, and then we're like, okay, we'll just fly down like why not? Or we buy the tickets obviously. So we were kind of like maybe we'll find our way there. So we kind of like lowkey blocked off the weekend. So, when Freddy told me he was coming, like literally a couple weeks ago, I was like, "You're so fine to come." And he's bringing his friend, but like I could see a world where Ryan and I end up in Atlanta for the SEC Championship because that's just we just can't stay away from the dogs. I'm like, "It's so fun." So, I called Freddy up. I said, "What I said did happen." And he honestly, he's probably so excited to have the open this weekend. I'm like, "Don't throw any parties, Ryan's like, is Freddy going to throw parties?" I'm like, "I don't think so. Like, I think our dormant would like text us." Yeah. So, I have to like turn over the apartment today cuz my friend Michaela is leaving this afternoon. She's at work right now, but she's going to leave. And then I'm going to change the sheets and everything in the Murphy bed for Freddy or probably Freddy's. And then Freddy will probably just sleep in me and Ryan's bed. So, I got to change the sheets for that, too. Got hotel Danielle and Ryan. And then our flight's at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow cuz we have like stuff to do tomorrow. So, things have taken a turn. So, with all of this being said, Vlogmas is supposed to be Vlogmas in New York. And as much as I would love and would vlog this weekend, it you guys don't want that. Like obviously I know like there'd be like a percentage of you guys that would want me to show like Atlanta SEC Championship, but it's going to be a lot of like it's not the vibe for Vlogmas. So it's not stopping early. Don't you guys worry. I'm actually kind of happy because Vlogmas always is around the SEC Championship and I feel like that day of the vlog, it's just like a lot of like me watching a TV and like freaking out the whole time. So after today, Vlogmas is pausing and when I get back on Monday, we're starting up. So after today, there's three more days of 7 days in Vlogmas. So Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I will vlog here in New York. I have plans next week of fun Christmasy things to do. I told Macy, I was like, I think we need to do something else next week, like like a fun activity cuz she just moved to New York, so she's trying to do fun things. So, they're after today. Last year when I went, it was me and Fibula, Connor Wood, which was so fun. I'm so grateful that they're taking two people from Georgia. I guess it's like gals on the go, too. It's gray. It's like this gray studded set from Sincept. I don't know how to pronounce it. Sinket. Living in Soho, you guys. It's dangerous. I might stop by and try it on super super quick just cuz I last year I wore this like really cool Alexander Wang like leather black outfit. Like I want to stunt again. I'm literally so grateful to T-Mobile. I I can't like I love T-Mobile so much. They're one of my favorite brands ever to work with. Seriously. So anyway, sorry that was like a lot, but I figured, you know, I'm probably going to bring it up throughout the day. I just didn't want to let you guys down, but I think it's going to be better this way. And more Vlogmas next week. Feels like yesterday when I had on my base layer. This is another shirt from the Heat Tech line at Uniqlo. I'm really hoping I'm going to be warm enough. I just I want to be cute for like Dairy Boy vibes. Like how cute. I found this jacket on Etsy, which I will have on my link linked on my LTK, but like it's like a cowhide like or looks like a cowhide situation. My favorite Abberrombie mid-rise boot cut jeans, black boots, silver and black belt. This is so cute, I think. And then protein shake to the nail to the hair salon to the salon. I brought gloves, too, just in case. But like feel like this is cute. Okay, let's go. So he crushed it. When I first sat down, he's like, "So why are you here?" I was like, "I want more layer." like just more shorter face framers. So, I didn't want to cut the extensions really cuz you know they don't grow back. And he was like, "Okay, I understand the assignment." Like Jennifer Aniston, Rachel Green, and we were both like obsessed. He was like, "I need to take a photo of this." Which I always find to be like the biggest honor when your hairdresser is like, "Can we get a photo?" I'm like, "Oh, so you love what you did." They always love what they do, but like if it's something different or they haven't done it in a while, like I feel like they get excited. So, I'm cold. All right, we're headed back into Soho and I want to try on that studded set and see. It's gray, which is not Georgia colors, but like I was going to wear something black anyways, so like gray kind of works, right? I'm out of breath. I'm walking in record speed right now because I have so much to do today before the sun goes down, I think, to film and the sun goes down so early and I want to stop at this event. Okay. Uh-oh. It's not in the It's not in the window anymore, but surely they still have it. Okay, so that was so easy. They like didn't have what I thought was my size and they were like, "Here, you could try this size instead." And it fit perfectly. So, and they were both like, "I mean, this is the outfit." And Georgia is the away team this year. So for this championship, so they'll be wearing gray pants and white. So like I'm matching those bikinis. It's kind of crazy. Like I literally saw that the other day and I was like, "Oh, that'd be such a good like game day fit." A few days later, I feel so grateful. Hand on my heart. So grateful. What is life? Okay, well now we're going to finally go to Dairy Boy. What are we getting? Oh, cute matching. >> Oh, that'll be so good for like travel and just like cute cash. I love it. So, I'm going to have to get this milk ornament. Obviously, it's ginormous, but I love it. And I love this fish, too. That was so fun. I saw all of my friends and got the cutest stuff. I cannot wait to wear my pieces. That was so Oh my gosh. Actually, since this vlog is so live as this video is up, I believe the pop-up's open. It's on Grand Street. I'm going to light the candle again. And I want some chili. I'm so glad I made the chili at the beginning of this week. I've had it for lunch like every day or dinner. I'm also so glad that I put this wreath back there because I've been vlogging in this spot a lot. It's an light day. Okay, I'm going to get to work. We have so much to do today. Got to pack. Got to pick out my other outfits for the weekend. But the Dairy Boy Market was so cute. I can't get over it. Oh, what's happening? Okay. I don't know. I'm cuddled up on the couch for like 30 minutes. I'm watching Nobody Wants This on Netflix cuz I don't want it to end. So, I literally watch like one episode a week cuz I love it so much. And I'm looking at the moon right now. It's only 5:00. Don't worry, it's so dark out already. Very bright. I love the tree so much. Tonight, we have a couple events and I need to figure out what I'm wearing. And I started packing for Atlanta, but I need to finish. So, but the events tonight. We're going to go to a popup that DW is having for holidays, which will be fun. I'm meeting Katie Botti there, and I'm sure like I'm going to see and Remy Bader's hosting it, so that'll be fun. And then from there, we're going to the corner store. So, I thought it'd be fun to take you guys, not for a sit down dinner. It's an event for Reebok, and I know a lot of my friends will be there, too. So, charging my social battery, you know. Okay, guys. We are headed out. I do need a little energy. Okay, I'm sorry, Dad, if you're watching this. I am drinking some Coca-Cola. I had one There was one little What is happening with my angles these days? There was one of these in my fridge from like an Uber Eats order forever ago, and I was like, "Yeah, perfect. It's cold outside." So, I'm just wearing this hooded faux fur jacket from Frankie shop, my Kate jeans, and then these DW boots cuz I'm going to a DW event and I wanted to support. Let's go. But it's keeping me warm. And I just had so much yummy food at corner store. It was very tasty and very got to see a lot of people. So, I'm glad I had that Coca-Cola. It really carried me through the conversations. Now, I'm going to head home and we're going to pack for the lamp. Packing has commenced. Our new lamps came in for our nightstands. >> The lamp sheet on. No. No. So, that's on me. When I got it, I didn't realize that you had to use these light bulbs, I guess, cuz it's like a smaller lamp. And then also kind of liking the idea of these two photos of Ry and I that we got framed here, which I know it's like, okay, it's only when you walk in, but like honestly, there's people coming in, including us, in all the time. This is such a big wall and it is very plain looking and this would like really do well there cuz or we were going to put them on this wall but honestly if you're in this hallway or this hallway I don't know I guess no you can't even see this hallway from bed cuz I was like oh if I looked out and I saw but I couldn't even see this wall from our bed.
