Hello, I'm Kuan Emet. I'm a pastry artist from Thailand.
You may know me as Butterbossom on social media.
I gave workshops all over the world on making cakes full of love.
Like others, I used to make buttercream flowers with a pipe tip.
One day, I tried to make a rose out of a palette knife.
People on social media loved it.
I've been perfecting this method since that day.
This is more artistic for me.
It's like painting rather than decorating.
In this Domestika course, I'm going to share my secret in decorating cakes.
For the final project, you'll use a palette knife and buttercream
to create the flower combination on the cake.
First, we'll look at the Ijebel Favar painting and examine the necessary tools.
We'll make American buttercream. Follow my recipe.
Then, I'll show you how to make a leaf and a crown leaf.
Before we start coloring, we'll move on to making different flowers.
We'll start with easy ones like daisy and rosebud.
Then, we'll move on to compact flowers like apricot and wild rose.
We'll move on to making a forced rose.
At the last step, we'll combine what we've learned and make a delicious flower arrangement.
When your cake is ready, hide your creations and enjoy it.
To follow me, you'll need simple ingredients and standard kitchen tools.
Join a sweet journey and start decorating with buttercream.
