Tenere 700 trip to Magadan
This is now my tenery and you can see how small it is compared to this huge ballast truck.
I have seen one of these when I was a kid next to my hometown Varna. It's a big stone carrier
in the town named Devnya and when I was a kid my father brought me there and I even sat on
the cabin for a while and enjoyed the ride. But this is a monster, man, this is a monster!
I don't know, it is at least, I'll say, six meters, at least five meters tall.
I don't know what is the real weight of all of this, probably more than 50-60 tons.
I have no idea. See my arms and I have like one one meter at least, so it is at least
the tire is, I don't know, probably 350. Huge, huge! I can walk underneath. Okay, I need to bend my
knees a little bit but see what it is, what kind of transmission it has and all of these drive
shafts here. This was working for many years before they actually put it over there. This is the
engine part. The engine, of course, is not here now but you can see how big was the place where
the engine was stayed. Huge! Look at these wheel bearings, they are like one meter and the rubber.
Man, what a monster! Okay, there's some
information. It can lift 220 tons at the same time. It weighs 370 tons.
The engine was 2538 horsepower. The width of the tires
3 meters and 48 centimeters. Okay, it's 13 meters long, 7 meters wide and 6 meters tall.
Oh man, 6 meters!
It's another one here and a few more diggers over there. I'm gonna show you this as well.
They are not that big and that impressive but, again, something that would be seen.
See how small is this compared to the... and it's also not that small. This one
also very big and it's a Russian plane, very small Yak-40 was the name.
So, it's a nice place located in Niryungri. I'm gonna show you on the map now.
This is Niryungri. This is Saldan, the place I stayed last night. So, the plan today is to
come to Tenda. This is like 500 kilometers and tomorrow I will go to bike post in Magocha,
more 500 kilometers. So, if I want to go from here to there it's like 800. I don't think that
I want to do it today. I already have done like 300. So, this is the plan for the next few days.
I'm moving slowly back and in about two days time or three days time I'll reach
Chita and in Chita I have to change the tires once again because the tires that I've got now...
I'm gonna show you the condition now. The tires that I've got now are on the end of its poor life.
This is the rear. It's all scratches and bends and cuts. The front is still fine but it's a
100% off-road tire. It's all right on the asphalt. It works fine if you ride slowly
but not on wet and not on high speed.
Anyway, it was nice to see all of this. Let's now go back to the main road and continue my ride.
See you in the next video. Ciao!
