Hello everyone, I hope you're all well and welcome back to my channel.
So I'm back again with my annual party wear video.
I cannot believe we're in December already. I got the tree up yesterday so
it's looking very festive in here. I actually sized down believe it or not
because every single year I always get an absolutely
massive one and then you can't even see the TV so
I was sensible this year and went with a 6 to 7 rather than a 7 to 8
but yes it's feeling very festive in the home now.
I've had a really festive weekend as well so I thought this is a great time
for me to do my party wear looks because I know many of you have asked over on
Instagram as well and it's getting to that time of year
where you've got your Christmas parties, you're wanting some more dressy looks for
Christmas day and New Year as well so hopefully this
inspires you. So I've got eight looks to share with you today and I'm also
partnering with a lovely jewellery brand called
Hifang and if you haven't heard of them before they were founded in
with a vision to craft jewellery that reflects life's stories and emotions.
So you'll see from the collections online as well that they have a real
playful sophistication about them. They're all about storytelling, they're
really feminine and fun so perfect pieces to style for this time
of year and can take you from day to evening as
well. So for party season you'll know from previous videos
I am a big lover of the statement earring and
Hifang have some gorgeous pieces so I've selected
five statement earrings to share with you today all from different collections
to show you the versatility of the brand and how I'm going to style them with
each of my party wear looks. So first up we've got these stunning
ribbon earrings here, I'm just going to zoom in now so you can see close.
So first up are these super cute silver ribbon studs
so these are inspired by the delicate ribbon and these are handcrafted to give
a 3D appearance and I just love how delicate they are.
They're super lightweight which I love, I don't feel like I've got anything in
which is great because I do find some of the bigger earrings
do kind of weigh your ear down but these are so lightweight and delicate and they
really add a touch of elegance to any outfit.
They're so pretty, I can't wait to style these more but I'm going to show you
them styled with this top in a second as well.
So the next set I've got to show you are these gorgeous nebula earrings
and these are inspired by the romantic allure of the cosmos and feature these
luminous shell beads and sparkling zirconia
arranged to mimic a dreamy intergalactic cloud.
I love these, I just think they're so unique and I really love how the
cluster design looks like it's climbing up the ear as well but you've got these
gorgeous little pieces that drop down, so stunning.
And again, super lightweight so if you're wanting to style a more minimal look
and add a pop of sparkle with your earrings then these are the ones to go
for. Now you know I love to wear a pearl for
Christmas and this little pair are so gorgeous.
They come with a clear quartz stud and have a luminous baroque pearl drop.
These are so stunning, these would be perfect if you're getting married around
this time of year as well and you can take these from day to night.
I really love the irregular shape of both pieces and I love that it's set in
a gold plated silver as well. So chic, so timeless, I feel like these
are a pair that you'll reach for time and time again.
Now onto the biggest studs I have in this collection
and these feature petals crafted from a plant-based eco-friendly material made
with actual real flower fibres which is amazing. As you can see the
acetate material just glistens with that gorgeous zirconia in the
centre. Another great thing I love about this
piece is that it is a two-in-one so you can take the
petal off and just have it as the yellow zirconia which is amazing because it's
two for the price of one. I'm going to be styling these with some of my more
minimal cream outfits and yeah they just pop and look so chic.
And then I've got the sparkle earrings here which are so
beautiful and timeless I feel because they're inspired by seaside days and
champagne nights so they've got that real elegance to them and these are a
double layer bubble earrings. So we've got these lovely
silver shell pearls and the shimmering zircon stones so if you are going from
work to your work's due then they are a perfect piece to style.
And then I also picked up this gorgeous ring so this is the
serpent ring which is a symbol of protection and power and I really love
the minimalist design with the zirconia drop here too. I feel like this is a
piece you can wear on the everyday as well, you can mix and match with your
silver and your gold jewellery so it's the perfect ring to style with all
these earrings. So those were my top picks from He Fang, if you loved any
of the pieces featured I will pop them in the description box below and I'll be
So let's get on with the outfits! So first up I've got this beautiful puff
sleeve top from H&M in a lovely burgundy brown. The fit of this is so gorgeous and
perfect for party season. This is also a great look for Christmas day as well
so I've paired it with my cream wide legs, I feel like this just really makes
the top pop and these are super old now but I will link some similar below.
And then I've finished the look with my burgundy heels and bag. Even though the
you can play around with textures in your accessories like I've done here
with the patent shoe and patent bag and it just pairs really well with this
lovely satin top and draped trousers. And then of course I've finished the
look with my statement earrings. If you feel like the top is a little too
revealing for you then you can actually style it backwards so this gives a nice
deep V at the back and you've got coverage at the front so it's a great
two-in-one. I really love this one, I think I might wear this for Christmas
day and I'm going to definitely wear this for some of my Christmas parties
I've got coming up soon. So on to look number two, I am utterly obsessed with
the fit and colour of this blazer. So this is from H&M and I'm so glad I
managed to get my hands on it. It looks so expensive, I just love this rich
like mossy green colour and it really cinches you in at the waist and also has
bold shoulder pads so overall it has a lovely structure to the piece. So I've
teamed it with my skort which is such an underrated bottom by the way. I used
to always reach for the miniskirt but I feel like a skort is such a feel safe
piece to have in your wardrobe especially for party season. If you're brave
enough you can go bare-legged but I've styled it with my tights and my patent
slingbacks. So this bag is a lovely new addition as well from a French brand
called Lancaster and it's a great one to reach for especially if you're styling
silver hardware too because although it's really minimal it's got these
lovely silver details on the strap. So jewellery wise I've kept it simple and
gone for the nebula earrings for a real statement and to tie in the silver
accessories together. Again, love this look. I wore this recently when I went
for a little date night with my friend and I had so many compliments on this
blazer. It really is a great find. So this one is for those of you who love to get
the sequins out at Christmas and this little mini dress is just so fun. It's
such a great length for petites as well. One thing I always find with sequin
dresses at this time of year is that they're just a little bit too long and
they're a right pain to get taken up with the sequins being quite tricky. So
this one really is perfect whether you are petite or taller. I just think you
can't go wrong with a simple strapless style and this is one that you can
repeat every year as well. I feel like it's one of those that you'll just reach
for when the party season comes around if you've got a meal with the girls, a
date with your other half or if you've got a work to do, it's just a great one
to reach for. So I've styled it with my tights and slingbacks and then for extra
warmth I've thrown on my black wool coat. I love this coat. It's a piece that I've
had for years now. This is from Mango but they always bring out a similar one so I
will link it below and it's great for party season and winter evenings in
general. I always reach for this. Onto look number four and I had to style the
colour of the season for a party wear look. This is so easy to recreate,
especially if you've got a few of your favourite brown pieces in your wardrobe
already. So I've actually got this halter in a few colours now and it's one of my
favourites to reach for for the evenings and I've styled it with my brown dish
trousers that you will have seen many times on the channel and then I've
decided to pop my burgundy slingbacks and burgundy bag to match. It's super
simple but feels so effortless and a great one for those of you who want to
step away from styling black every party season then brown is a great softer
alternative. This is a great way to style it if you are having a party at
home or if you're thinking of wearing something like this for Christmas day or
if you are heading out, this is a great time to get the faux fur out. This is
absolutely gorgeous, this coat. I just love it. As soon as I saw it on the
website I thought I'm going to have to get that and show the girls how I'm
going to be styling this. I just know I'm going to reach for this a lot over the
next couple of weeks and for years to come as well. I just feel it looks so
expensive and it really completes the look perfectly. I'm definitely excited to
style this more. So on to look number five and this is for those of you who
love to style a jean for the evening but you want a little bit of sparkle so
more of like a smart casual party look. These ones are from Mint Velvet from
last year however they do have some very similar
and as I always say check out Vinted, eBay and also the high street has some
lovely options as well so I will link some below for you. So today I've paired
them with my cinched waist blazer to dress them up
but if you want to keep it a little bit more casual you can
style a plain tee with an oversized black blazer as well that would look
super chic. On to look number six and this is one of my favourites and a great
alternative to styling black or darker colours.
I love to style cream or white this time of year. This top feels
super elegant. As soon as I saw it on H&M I thought I need to style this for the
girls. So it's got this wrap detail that secures
at the front then it wraps around the neck and has this gorgeous
scarf detail that just drapes at the back and then I've teamed it with my
cream wide leg trousers again to create a set.
For shoes I've gone for gold heels and a nude bag but a white heel or a sling
back would work perfectly with this look too.
This is also a great one to style if you're getting married next year and you
want to start with the bridal looks. I'd definitely wear this for one of my
Hindu looks. It's super chic and with this top and bottom you can style it
multiple ways with other pieces in your wardrobe as well.
Now on to outfit seven and I'm styling the sparkle earrings for this one
and this look is great if you don't want to go out with a jacket because
the jacket becomes the outfit. I really love the stud detail all over this
because it still feels festive but not overly sparkly and it's got these
lovely wide balloon sleeves and a cropped fit so it's perfect for petite
styling too. So I've styled it with my trusty black
wide leg trousers from Mango. These come out every year for me for party season
especially. I'm hoping they still have them in stock.
They usually do so I will link those below for you. You can also
style the jacket open as well so you can pop a little silver or black crop
underneath like I've done here or a black bodysuit for an alternative look.
I've then styled it with my sling backs and a silver bag to really bring out the
stud detail. This one's super cute and really easy
and comfortable too. If you wanted to go even more casual you
could even style it with black jeans. And finally on to outfit number eight and
this is my newest addition, this beautiful jumpsuit from Nadima Ravi.
Honestly she does the best party wear and her pieces
fit like an absolute dream. You've probably noticed though I do need to get
the trousers taken up as they are a little bit long for me being
petite. So yeah just bear that in mind if you are
five foot two, five foot three, you may need to get them taken up. But this is a
great option if you don't want to overthink a look.
You can literally just pop the jumpsuit on and go. The bodice is made from this
beautiful velvet embroidered lace and it reveals just a hint of skin.
So you can wear it with a lace bra or a nude bra underneath. It also features a
high neckline, shoulder pads and these lovely sleeves
with a scallop detail at the hem. It's so beautiful and I love the
signature crepe flared trousers too. So these are also fully lined in satin
so they're super smooth when you're wearing them.
So I've kept it simple with the accessories and
styled it with my black shoulder bag and sling backs. I've also gone
for the nebula earrings for a real pop of sparkle.
So there we go guys, they were some party looks to hopefully inspire you for the
festive season. Let me know your favourites below and as
always I'll link everything I can and offer alternatives on the older
pieces. Take care, have fun and I'll see you all
very soon for a new video.
