Alright guys, good morning.
So today we are doing the most famous tour you can do from Taipei, Taiwan,
where we visit four stunning attractions all packed in a one-day tour.
So let's go check it out. Let's go.
Alright guys, so one hour drive later,
we finally made it here at our first stop of this tour,
which is Yulu Geopark.
I think that's how you say it,
but this area is known for its beautiful rock formations.
And we're actually on the coast.
So driving here, we were driving along the Taiwan coast,
which was so beautiful.
It kind of reminds me of Jeju Island in this area.
It does. I was about to say that.
It's gorgeous here.
So if you guys have been to Jeju Island,
you will definitely see a resemblance.
It's like a very quiet and peaceful coastal town here.
Also, we met a subscriber.
Thank you guys for saying hi.
They're from New Zealand.
Appreciate you guys.
Hope you're enjoying your trip here in Taiwan.
So beautiful here.
Definitely reminds me of Jeju Island,
but I will say that this park has its own charm to it.
Like there's a lot of rock formations here.
That's what this park is known for.
From what I'm seeing on the map,
there's a lot of interesting ones.
A gorilla rock, a stingray rock.
So basically rocks that look like stingray,
queen's head, heart-shaped rock.
So I'm really excited to see.
The rock formations here are absolutely crazy.
It looks like we're on Mars or something.
It's so gorgeous out here.
I'm glad the sun's out too.
What a beautiful day.
So this attraction alone was worth what Ann and I paid for,
for this tour.
And right after this,
we still have three attractions to go to.
So definitely do this if you're in Taiwan.
Guys, the coast out here is gorgeous.
Quite windy out right now.
So if you're coming here in the cooler months,
definitely bring a sweater because it can get pretty cold.
But man, this area is gorgeous.
Thank you.
There's a coffee shop here and a bookstore.
All right, we got our coffee.
Anyways, I think Taiwan is so underrated.
The landscape here is beautiful.
Lots to do.
If you want the city life, you got the city life.
If you want to be by the beach, you got it.
Nature here is insane.
We've been driving here.
It was like a coastal town.
The mountains were right beside us as well.
Super scenic.
I feel like a lot of people talk about Japan and Korea a lot,
but not so much Taiwan.
Yeah, I know.
Taiwan is definitely underrated.
Yeah, I love it here so far.
All right, guys, so done with this attraction.
Once again, we met subscribers from San Diego.
Yeah, we love San Diego.
Yeah, thanks for saying hi, guys.
Anyways, we're heading to the next spot now.
Let's go.
All right, guys, so next stop is the Golden Waterfall.
Wow.
Guys, look at this waterfall.
It's beautiful.
It's also just right beside the main road, which is crazy.
So guys, if you're interested in booking the same tour as us,
we booked this tour on Klook.
And we do have a discount code for you that you can use.
It is jannanandklook.
Use that and that will save you money.
Also, we'll put the link of this tour in the video description
if you're interested in doing it as well.
So next stop is the old mining town of Jufen.
This is also where we'll be having lunch.
It's beautiful out here.
It's known for its gorgeous alleyways and old lantern-lit street.
It's gorgeous.
All right, so we're currently looking for a restaurant to eat lunch at,
but the steps going up are quite steep because we are on a mountain.
If you guys aren't able to climb steep stairs or you're just tired,
there's actually a bus from the very bottom that can take you up here
so you don't have to climb many stairs.
All right, so this old mining town is on top of a mountain.
Look at how gorgeous it is from up here.
Wow, the views are insane.
Look.
All right, so before we get lunch, we decided to get a drink
and it's the Xing Fu Tang Famous Milk Tea.
They have it up here.
Yeah, they have it up here.
Damn.
What flavor did you get this time?
We got the matcha boba milk.
Especially because we are up in the mountain,
so we decided to go for beef noodle soup.
Look at that.
All right, so I got the dry spicy noodles.
Looks so good.
Oh, it smells amazing too.
All right, so Ann and I, we always get the beef noodle soup.
I've actually never tried the dried noodle, so let's give this a go.
It smells so good though.
That beef flavor is insane.
Spicy as well.
It's the perfect amount of spice.
Wow, I really like this.
I think I like this better than the beef soup, baby.
Wow, that's yummy.
So we're currently here at Aganyi Taro Ball Restaurant.
So they're known for their shaved ice with taro balls and assorted beans.
So basically dessert.
Let's go get some.
All right guys, so we got our dessert.
And this dessert is pretty popular here.
Everyone seems to be getting it.
So it's taro balls with assorted beans and shaved ice.
You can also get it hot.
At first glance, it kind of looks like that dessert in the Philippines.
What is it called?
Oh, bilo bilo.
Yeah, like that's what I thought it was.
And the taro balls, they make it handmade.
Yeah.
I was gonna blow it.
I forgot it's iced.
How's that?
That looks so refreshing.
Oh, that's good.
Yeah, so the mung beans are like sweet.
And then the taro balls are also sweet.
It's good.
It's really good.
I like that.
So if you guys are looking for this stall, it's like all the way at the very top.
And you'll see a big ass line.
And guys, look at the view right now.
Ta-da, look at that.
Here's our dessert.
There's our view.
All right guys, so we're nearly here now at our last stop of today's tour,
which is another old mining town on top of a mountain called Shifen.
This is where you'll find the most beautiful waterfall in Taiwan.
Also, this is where you can release sky lanterns.
Let's go check it out.
Before we release some sky lanterns, we're going to check out the waterfall.
Apparently, they call this the Niagara Falls of Taiwan.
Like I said earlier, it is the most beautiful waterfall you can find here in Taiwan.
Out of all the places we visited today, I think this has got to be my favorite.
We're pretty high up on the mountains and there's like a river beside us.
And it's just so peaceful here as well.
Yeah, quiet.
Yeah.
So we're done with the waterfall.
We are now on our way to Shifen Old Street.
This is where we can release sky lanterns.
There is an additional fee.
You have to pay 200 Taiwanese dollars to be able to release lanterns.
Ann and I are going to do it.
200 Taiwanese dollars is pretty affordable, so.
So we're about to get our lanterns and you can actually like write on it.
I believe that the colors represent different kinds of wishes or like meaning.
We got the red which represents health and peace.
So this is ours right here.
It's huge.
Thank you.
What are you writing?
P-E?
Peacock?
All right, here's my wish.
BMW M3.
Ann's writing more.
No.
Nala is our dog, guys.
All right, guys.
So we're about to release our lantern.
Let's go.
Guys, look.
Cactus for Chiang Mai.
So one just got stuck in a tree.
What the heck?
What I noticed here too is all of the houses here, the roofs are metal just in case.
I'm guessing.
I love you, baby.
All right, so we're trying to get a souvenir.
I think this is what Ann wants.
Like a nightlight?
Like a nightlight and it has a lantern design.
There's also these ones.
Look at this keychain.
It has bubble tea inside.
I wonder what flavor it is.
Show them the actual logo.
It's moving too.
Should I drink it?
They got xiaolongbao.
Milk tea again.
Milk tea.
That's cute.
Look at the boba in there.
I think this is my favorite.
Piece of pork.
There are some cool souvenirs.
Oh, a sausage.
Fried chicken.
All right, guys.
Time to head home.
It's been a fun day.
Not gonna lie.
This has got to be one of the best tours I've been on.
It was a fun day.
I did not expect this from Taiwan.
When you think Taiwan, it's like the hustle and bustle.
But there is a lot of beauty to Taiwan.
I know.
Highly recommend this tour, guys.
You have to do this.
Anyways, thank you all so much for watching.
