Upon leaving Overland West 2024, we head out with a few friends to some epic campsites and fun scenic trails along the way. I know someone in the comments is going to ask but for these epic camp spots, I do not disclose their locations. With enough effort, I am sure you will be able to find them just as I did! Thanks for watching and subscribe so you don't miss out! See you in the next video!

it's what's going on guys we are back
with another video and today we're doing
something a little bit different we've
taken a couple of our longtime van
friends uh that we actually met at
Overland Expo about 3 years ago we are
taking them to our most sacred Camp spot
um looking at the granden canyon yep so
we we're starting off this adventure we
just finished Overland West and uh going
to be on a the the road for the next
four or 5 days so let's get right into
it
[Applause]
most of this Trail as you've seen so far
isn't Scenic at all it's not until you
get to this last Hill Climb as you Crest
over the top of the hill the Grand
Canyon welcomes you with its views

and just like that we have arrived
just on the north rim of the Grand
Canyon really we were worried cuz we
weren't get the spot because while we
were airing down our tires a tundra just
flew past us and we thought he was just
going to be line to this spot but
apparently not so we were able to secure
this awesome spot we're just going to
hang out here make some dinner and uh
just enjoy our
time got dinner
going what we got making we got some
chicken fajitas so we've had some
chicken marinating in a fajita mix for a
couple days now and uh we're going to
get some reff fried beans going and then
we're going to fry up some corn
[Music]
tortillas we got the refried beans going
tacos
pitas fajita
tacos we're eating inside the camper
because it's a little windy outside so
we don't want dirt in our food so Bona
PE we enjoyed the rest of our night
taking in the views of this amazing Camp
spot

good
morning we actually uh hair's a mess but
we just woke up and woke up early to
catch the sunrise so we're just it's
almost about to Peak so catch you guys
in a bit we're going to watch the
sunrise over the horizon

we started our journey back out the same
Trail we came in but had a little fun on
the way
[Music]
out we are then back on the road heading
north into Utah before once again
hitting more trails
[Music]
we continued our way up the mountain to
make it to tonight's Camp spot which was
for sure to be another amazing spot with
a complete change in scenery

and just like that we are here yet again
at another amazing Camp spot
overlooking all of South
Utah now we had a quite eventful day
coming all the way from pretty much the
north R of the Grand Canyon over here by
nearby Bryce National Park that's where
we spent most of the day today and then
we did some light wheeling and uh ended
up at this awesome Camp spot as per
usual we're just going to end up
uh setting up camp cooking dinner and I
don't know if you can see the trees
behind me but it is a little Breezy
outside so hopefully it doesn't get too
bad at night we're going to monitor it
cuz we may need to take shelter a little
further down the mountain instead of
being at the peak here at 8,600 FT of
elevation all right all righty what what
are we cooking here sir little jumbalaya
and um some
sausage diced up
Tomatoes hopefully it'll be good if not
could be
bad doesn't matter we'll eat it
regardless all righty so we're ending up
unfortunately having to leave this
amazing spot here due to the inclement
weather that is approaching so hopefully
you guys can hear me over the howling of
would say probably 20 to 30 mph winds
right now but behind me as you can see
there is some pretty dark storms storm
clouds rolling in and we are on the peak
of the mountain So to avoid
possibly uh getting stuck in that and
the winds are continuously picking up
and getting worse we're going to take
shelter further down on the mountain I
have a secondary backup spot for just in
case unfortunately we can't control
Mother Nature and sometimes it's just
better to uh give up a beautiful spot
and uh take shelter but we were able to
enjoy this view for a few hours here and
uh we'll catch you in a bit all righty
we just pulled up to our backup
secondary Camp spot and it's uh not as
quite as Grand as their previous spot
still pretty decent spot but we don't
have crazy gusts of wind we don't have
dirt blowing up in our face and uh are
much more sheltered here from the rain
if it does rain which it started a few
sprinkles landed on my jacket and then
it stopped but I'm not sure if it'll
focus out there in the distance but rain
is off is raining off there in the
distance you can see the rain coming
down so hopefully all that doesn't make
it towards us but everybody's kind of
hunkered down in their vehicles because
it is dropping fast uh tonight up here
is a predicted low of 28° so it's going
to be quite nippy luckily for us uh
Milton there gifted us a diesel heater
that he had in storage and wasn't using
and we've already used it one night and
it was fantastic there are a few
modifications that I want to do to it
just to make it a little better but not
complaining it's most likely going to
keep us nice and toasty tonight as it
drops below freezing so we're probably
just going to hang out maybe pop up the
fire pit and uh
probably catch go to bed early because
uh we woke up quite early this morning
to catch the sunrise over the Grand
Canyon so we'll see you guys in the
morning we woke up to below freezing
temperatures had breakfast and headed
our way back down the mountain
[Music]
as we descended the snowfall became
heavier as we drove further down
[Music]
well hopefully you can see I'm sure you
can see it all over my face and my
jacket it is actively snowing and it's
snowing pretty hard right now uh we just
ended up just packing up and heading
down the mountain and we're currently on
the road here air and up pulled off to
the side so we are heading to a much
warmer climate originally I had some
routes that were going to be back roads
but with this weather rolling in uh the
routes went up to 11,000 ft of elevation
and we do not want to get stuck in snow
so we're going to bypass that and just
head
directly to our destination which is
Moab we're going to spend uh the next
couple days in Moab so we see you guys
over in Moab in a
few in the next episode we arrive in
Moab and push the Vans to the absolute
limits make sure you subscribe and hit
that notification Bell so you don't miss
out on the next video
