2,000 HP Lambo vs my Tesla Model S Plaid 1/2 Mile Drag Race

We're out the half mile fast or nothing. I got my Tesla plaid running half mile against this Lamborghini Huracan. Not a normal one though. This thing is absolutely stacked. We're not exactly sure how much horsepower it's making. Estimates to be around, I don't know, 17 to 1800 to the wheel. So this is a 2000 horsepower Lamborghini. Built transmission, upgraded everything, built engine, everything you could possibly do. This actually ran sevens in the quarter mile, but out here it's not like a drag strip. So we're going to see if it can catch me down the half mile on the Tesla plaid. The Tesla plaid today has been going about 185 miles an hour. And this Lambo behind me is going to do, I don't know, well over 220, but he's not going to launch it. And we're going to see if he can actually catch. So David, this got basically everything done to it. You ran seven what in the quarter mile? I ran seven six at the Texas 2K 2023. At a hundred and... I think it was 180 something miles an hour. 180 something miles an hour. That's basically what I do in the half mile. He's doing the quarter mile. So this thing's going to be well over 200. So I don't know who you got. Do you think he's going to catch me or not? We'll do, we're going to try and do two out of three races. We'll see what happens. These cars sometimes need to cool down a little bit. I don't know if we could see what's in the back here. That's the built motor, but... So built motor, built transmission. This is my slow Lambo, I have a... This is the, whoa, hold on, wait a minute. This is the, this is the slow Lambo? This is the slow Lambo. What do you mean? I have a 3,500 horsepower sequential Huracan that does 250 plus in the half mile. All right, well, we're glad we're not racing the 251. At least I might have somewhat of a chance against this one. But I'm super glad he was able to actually race me because a lot of people out here don't want to do it. He's like, yeah, line them up, let's go. All right, so you got Tesla Plaid. We've got twin turbo Lamborghini making 1,700 horsepower to the wheels. So we're talking 2,000 horsepower versus the Tesla Plaid. Now he's not gonna launch. He's gonna go well over 200 miles an hour. So let's see if he can pass me in the Tesla Plaid. So we got 2,000 horsepower Lambo versus Tesla Plaid preparing for launch. I'm ready to go as soon as you give us the flag. I'm off, I spun a lot. I can't see. Let's see if he could pass me by the half mile. Oh, he got me. I think I'm a little past 1,900 mile because I saw 197 on the dash here. I'm off, I spun a lot and I can't see. Let's see if he could pass it by the half mile. Oh, he got me. Ceramic breaks did it though, wow. That was a crazy, crazy race. Wow that was insane I don't know how fast that thing went but I went 14.8 I got to check out the mile an hour 184.6 and we're gonna have to look at the stats on the faster nothing site to see what he did okay so this was his third run and against the plaid he ran 227 miles an hour holy crap I was ahead most of the way definitely through the quarter mile I spun a lot only ran a nine six at 151 I think I could do better I might be able to get a little farther on him and then and and maybe he can't catch me round two let's see if he can catch me this time entering launch mode we need a little better launch this time all right I think I got a better launch that time I need every car length that I can get he's way back there there's no way he's catching me this time he's coming up fast I got it all right it is 1-1 2,000 horsepower Lambo versus Tesla Plaid I think we need a tiebreaker you want to do a tiebreaker or no cool off okay all right so there you go you saw it the Tesla got beat the first time he went 227 miles an hour versus my 184 I mean he was going so fast was absolutely the same the second pass I don't know what happened you said it just kind of bogged down bogged down and and you just took off yeah left me and then I I passed you right by the flat past the flags but yeah then I didn't realize I need to stop and yeah we both had trouble breaking at the end it was a little scary because when you're racing you just want to win yeah and you think we got more space to go even though we passed the cone so but anyways that was that was an awesome race appreciate it maybe we'll line up again I got some more race to do but it's one-to-one maybe we'll get a tiebreaker in as always thanks for watching if you enjoyed this video hit the thumbs up helps of any other channel and link down in the description if you want to win your choice of an electric car from climate exchange
