5 Days in Korea 🇰🇷 café hopping, shopping in seongsu, the best korean bbq EVER 🥩

Brian probably gets to have his Korean beef. Crazy. First order of business is Korean butter. Oh my god. Always wanted to do this. Ooh, it smells so good. Oh my gosh, yum. Tastes like aloe. It's so cold outside, but the ice actually hardened. So we officially understand Korea caffeine culture. We will be actively participating every single day from here on out. Last night we took a taxi and taxis are pretty affordable, but we did use a T-money card because they don't have like the Suica or Pasmo on Apple Wallet like Japan has. But other than that, it's pretty easy to get around. We'll pop like some of the apps that we use to help us get around so far, but excited to eat away around Korea. Is that a photo booth? Yup. We went crazy. Dang, this looks crazy. Yeah. Should we go? So we've already hit two cafes today, but we saw that last cafe on Juan Marcel and Ryland's vlogs. Leading up to the Korea trip, this was our first time, so we were watching lots of vlogs and loved theirs. But we're cafe-ed out for today. Yeah, so maybe tomorrow or the next day. At that place saved because it's supposed to be the Gentle Monster dupe. And each of the sunglasses was around 40 US dollars, but they all felt like super light. But they have some cute styles. There is no shortage. Looking for Korean beef everywhere. This place imported it from America. We're like, what the? So really good. Post haircut. Looks so good. Got a little blowout perm. Even permed my baby hairs down. Nice new glasses too. Yep. It's like a bubble waffle filled with crepe that's been coated in candy sugar. They had this place saved because of the mini croissants. Thank you. Do you wish you had a little treat with your matcha? Sure do. Saved my little treat just for this very moment. Breakfast. So we're headed out to meet Brandon. We're going to Gangnam today. Have a little lunch reservation. And then we finally are going to go to Olive and Young today. You notice anything new about us? Our outfits maybe? New outfits. We just had lunch at Mingles. Such a good tasting menu. Like maybe the best meal I've ever had. The flavors were incredible. Each bite was unique. Yeah. So would highly recommend. We're definitely going back. The easiest way to get in with the servers is to take a shot. You warm up immediately. Like an 8-0. Hard. Guess where we are? The major Olive and Young. Shall we? We did some TikTok research prior to going in. We have a little wishlist that we're gonna gift ideas to their man. I don't even know what it is. Probiotics? Fine. Girls went to Olive and Young. I was still a little hungry after barbecue. So I went and got some fried chicken. So good. Highly recommend. I don't know how he gets it so crispy and not oily. Where'd you go? Finally went to Olive and Young and we went to the big Hongdae. But turns out there's one literally around the same street that's better stocked. It's gonna be my new combo in here with mayo before we hit our cafes. Today is our last full day in Korea and we hit a skin clinic tonight. We're gonna do some more of the intense skin treatments. Headed out to meet Brandon at this cafe that we thought saved. It's very much just an Instagram cafe. I don't know if I would go there again but if you have that like dark aesthetic and need some Instagram pics it's pretty photogenic. Today is like also the warmest day. Yeah I'm literally wearing this and a shirt. Yeah. Every other day we've been absolutely freezing. So yuppo but hungry. Yeah there's some major hills over here. Be prepared. I did some cafe hopping myself this morning. Trying out some local recommended cafes. Christine and Vic are off getting some lunch. They had some appointments this morning. On my way to actually meet up with them. We've got a steep uphill climb. And of course I've left my t-money card in my last coat pocket. So we had to walk everywhere today. So many cutie little cafes. But we're riding right now to a cafe that Brandon has had saved. What'd you say? You've seen this place before? Yeah I think you get a coffee and then you can write a note to whoever you want. And I think you address it and they mail it for you. You can do like time capsules. I think I've seen this in a vlog before. It's time for a water break. I'm not being quite the hike. I'm sweating. Breathing, breathing so heavily over there. I'm trying to like. Okay let's go. What? It's like we're on love island. What? Brandon said it's like we're on love island. Love tower. Never even watched love island. I know. They need to like hose them off. So we only have a couple hours left. I want to go home. I miss my dog. We're gonna have to have two times efficient. Some green fried chicken for the first time. I've been eating normal barbecue every single day. Roasted chicken for the desert. That says better than in the states somehow. Quite the haul. Oh she's still going. Korea is the best place because the price. You guys are actually insane. Retail therapy for a stressful day.
