A.K. Home by PU Architects is a compact townhouse thoughtfully designed for small-scale urban living
in Ho Chi Minh City. Built on a modest 70 square meters plot with an angled orientation,
the house responds to its irregular site by carefully balancing privacy, natural light,
and ventilation. The stepped-back facade, shaped by diagonal lines and staggered planes,
allows daylight to enter gently while creating an urban buffer from the surrounding neighborhood.
Inside, the split-level layout enhances spatial flow and passive ventilation throughout the home.
The ground floor accommodates the kitchen, dining area,
and parking, opening toward a green rear buffer that brings light and fresh air deep into the
interior. A compact mezzanine level serves as a flexible living and working space,
connected by a curved staircase that softens movement within the house.
Two bedrooms on the upper floor enjoy natural light and privacy,
while the rooftop becomes a peaceful retreat with plants and a semi-outdoor bathing area.
Through layered facades, green pockets, and climate-responsive planning,
K-Home offers a calm and personal living environment perfectly suited to dense
tropical urban life. A quiet, well-crafted sanctuary presented by Urchinist.
